Please start using more spells like Greater Nuclear Explosion in wizard duels instead of spells like Mass Ensandwichment or Cataclysmic Cancer Ray.

The R.R.D. has well-established procedures for undoing the damage done by nuclear weapons. Deirradiate Region is a common spell used in the R.R.D. However, a spell like Cataclysmic Cancer Ray leaves magical cancer-radiation that hurts people for decades to come, and we have no good method of defusing it as of now.

So please start using more nukes. It will make our job much easier.

If you don’t know any Nuclear Weapon spells, you can come to a  R.R.D. and we will teach you some.

Gallus is a chicken, a wizard, and a member of the Reality Restoration Department. The Reality Restoration Department or R.R.D. are there to restore reality after wizardly mishaps.

Did a fire wizard burn down a dozen buildings? The RRD are there to rebuild it and resurrect the casualties. Time travel war? The RRD will put the timeline into something resembling order. Dangerous artifacts? The RRD will try to contain or neutralize them.

“You have time travel. Why don’t you send dangerous artifacts to the beginning or end of the universe to dispose of them?”

Good question! This was common practice when I founded the RRD, and it was quite convenient too. Just open a portal and shove the artifacts to the beginning of time! But I did not know how many problems this would cause down the line.

As it turns out, of you send something to the beginning of Creation, all those evil swords and cursed amulets and boxes with dark gods trapped inside will be floating around in space for eons to come! And those dangerous artifacts may cause trouble for you in the future. On record, we have at least 31 different dark gods we sent back to the beginning of Creation, only for them to stick around and cause chaos for us later.

As to why we don’t send things to the END of the universe…for some reason the End of the Universe is a popular destination for time-traveling tourists. So there is a great risk of some clueless idiot grabbing a dangerous artifact as a “souvenir”.

Like that one time a Chronomancer brought a cursed Turbo Testicular Torsion grimoire from the End of The Universe to our current time. That was a literal kick in the balls for many entesticled beings that day.

I can still feel my balls twisting from that. Gah!
