Information about champagne:

💕 Three types - dry, classic and rose

💕 Each drink has its own buff and mood

💕 Glasses of champagne have a live🥂 bubble animation

💕 You can buy a whole bottle and take up to 8 glasses from it, or invite other Sims to take glasses and drink together

(the "Make a toast" action is available in the menu of communication between sims in a Friendly branch while drinking)

💗 While drinking, the sim will have a little motive😀 fun and the existing buffs of stress, sadness, anger, fear, boredom and discomfort will disintegrate faster

💕Compatible with the Basemental mod (if you want to have the effect of intoxication from drinks)

💕 Drinks and bottles do not spoil

💕 Each type of champagne has 1 whole bottle, its own glasses to it and packages of 2 bottles

💕 Through the new menu "Make alcoholic drink" of the bar has its own animation with a bottle of champagne

Where can find champagne:

🍾 Order via delivery in the "Drinks" section, if you use the mod "Realistic cooking" of the minimum version 3.2

One bottle or in a packaging of 2 bottles - for all 3 types

🍾 In the new menu in the restaurant on the table "Order a bottle of alcohol"

(to see the menu - the table must be ordered by your sims and there must be a free slot on the table for the bottle, otherwise it will not appear)

🍾 All kinds of drinks in glasses are available for the restaurant menu

🍾 At any bar through the new menu "Make an alcoholic drink" you can make a glass of any champagne. If your sim is grouped with others, the menu "Make an alcoholic drink for everyone" will appear

🍾 Take from the refrigerator or luggage through the new menu on the book and refrigerator "Take a bottle" - for this you must already have a bottle in your luggage or refrigerator - this is done for convenience -  sim will take a bottle from the refrigerator and put it in the middle of the table or on any free space on the lot

🍾 On any lot "Trade" in the construction mode there are packaging of bottles of 2 of them - you can open the packaging and get 2 bottles in your refrigerator or sim's luggage

Evrart and Pryce are both probably jumping for joy over what happened in Martinaise. Unless you know about Dros and all the other little details, here's what the Tribunal looks like to an outside party:

A group of Union men hang a mercenary, sent as part of a strikebreaking measure by a foreign military contractor. The police don't show up for a week, and when they do, they don't arrest anyone. Instead, two policemen stand between the rest of the mercenaries and the Union men and defend them with their lives.

This is an incredible look for the RCM.

If your population thinks you've been licking the boot of foreign powers at the expense of your country, this is probably the single best way to convince everyone that, actually, you will stand with the common people over those that would exploit them. But just as much as this is a good look for the RCM, it’s also a good look for the Union.

Remember, one of the problems that the Union is going to face once they manage to kick Wild Pines out is that people will pull from doing business with them. Just as the Moralintern once afforded RCM legitimacy, the RCM, a kind of governmental body, can provide some guarantee that the Union is still all above board and safe to ship with, thank you. Obviously, there will still be concern and many international corporations will pull business, but the illusion of RCM approval and oversight could be a comfort, especially if the Clare brothers know how to play it (which they do.)

A shallow alliance between the RCM and the Union is inevitable, I think, maybe even a deeper one considering that the RCM is underfunded and the Union is about to come into a lot of money. That being said, I can’t imagine the relationship between the RCM and the Union is going to be any less contentions that the one between the RCM and Moralintern. Pryce is going to learn from Harry about what happened to the last Union leader before the Claries took over. I don't think he's above holding that knowledge over Edgar and Evrart's heads.

this might be me reading it wrong but while they obviously are Cops and pretty explicitly bastards because of it i'm not sure how 1:1 an analogy the rcm are supposed to be for real-world cops. like generally police forces are, in order to fulfil their role as the means of maintaining the state's monopoly on violence at home, empowered (both legally & logistically) to do whatever they need/want to do that and imo it's very telling that the game goes out of its way to say "the rcm are not allowed anywhere near breach-loading weapons". like the moralintern is apparently willing to allow the mercenaries to run around a civilian area carrying automatics but won't let (as i understood it) anyone in the rcm have them for any reason. couple this w the fact that the rcm was apparently started by the people of revachol themselves & allowed (there's that word again) to continue by the moralintern rather than being the MI's brainchild i think it speaks to some interesting tensions in the rcm's postion which are obscured by just calling them cops. which is not to say that they are not also cops.
