An crossover show idea i did a while back

The shows like a mix between scooby doo and sam and max, about an independent freelance dog police force who deal with more outlandish and dangerous criminals in the city.

Clifford: The head of the force. Tall, strong and imposing, yet a bit airheaded with a kind heart. Cares for the team like a family.

Martha: The team's communications officer and second-in-command, fluent in over a dozen languages. Firm yet caring. Isn't afraid to speak her mind. She makes sure everyone stays focused and not get into too much shenanigans.

Chase: An accomplished police puppy from Toronto, Canada. Leader of the world-famous Paw Patrol rescue team, working with the Dog Police is his "side project". Treats it with the same dedication as his main profession. Often accompanies Bluey and Rockruff so they stay out of trouble

Bluey: A puppy from Brisbane, Australia, and the youngest member of the Dog Police. Kind, innocent and playful. Loves thinking of inventive ways to solve a crime, especially if it can be made into a game. The team needs to be extra careful with her if things get dangerous.

Zoe: Expert detective with a sassy streak. Mastermind at figuring out mysteries and whodunits. Very fashion-concious. Don't mess with her hair!

Snoopy: A dog of little words, but one with a brilliant and analytic mind. Writer in his down-time. Always has his nose in a true crime book.

Aleu: A wolf-dog from Alaska. Zoe's best friend. One of the most hands-on members of the force. Not afraid to get her paws dirty. Ready for a fight even before she knows who shes fighting, though sometimes this approach gets her into trouble.

Courage: Ironically, a big coward, but a lovable one at that. Acts as the team's psychogical consultant. Trying to get over his phobias of a myriad of things. Skilled in cimputer tech and works with Dawkins to locate criminals

Elsa: The team's medic. Often seen training new recruits. Will always help out a fellow teammate or anyone injured at a crime scene. Can be egotistical at times, especially loves playing the leader when Martha or Clifford isn’t around, but always means well.

Dawkins: A Dalmatian from London, England, and just one member of a large family. The team's chief scientific advisor and tech support. Filled with knowledge despite his young age. Hes made several useful gadgets for the team at their disposal

Brian: an average joe-turned-sniffer dog from Quahog, Rhode Island. A ladies' man with a great singing voice and an expansive drinks cabinet. Can sniff out any form of contraband from blocks away. He does get annoyed with some of his teams dumb antics but does get along well with the others

Rockruff: The second-youngest of the team. A fireball of energy who brings a chaotic, upbeat energy to the team. Snarky at times, but in good means and being playful. Though he always has the feeling he's being controlled by someone.

fuck it. roxy teaching cassie about the many wonders of Fire™️ and now cassie's dad has to make sure she never finds his blowtorch

Cassie's dad has never been so horrified in his life when he went to the Plex to find them and they were in the lobby burning random shit on a fire Roxy apparently spent hours figuring out how to light. Cassie was sat next to her trying to explain the concept of smores to her and he just. He tries not to shout, but he completely forgot about that this time what the fuck are they doing????

But it's fire. It needs to be properly contained and managed. Yeah that didn't last long because Roxy didn't know what she was doing so they put it out before some outsider calls the firefighters in and there is a long talk on the way home about it. He asks at some point what Roxy thought about it and finds she wasn't paying attention to anything he just said and immediately launched into theorising what she did wrong with it and telling him about how she figured out to light it. Now he wouldn't be impressed by any of this... if it wasn't so impressive how in her own head she was about this to somehow not realise how much trouble she's in to talk excitedly about the thing she's in trouble over. He wonders if she just doesn't care, but he also knows she's likely never seen a fire before, or if she has, her base programming would have taken over and she wouldn't have been able to really look at it.

When they get home, he makes a point to move all fire related things to high places where she won't think to look and to figure out how to get it through her thick skull how dangerous playing with fire is. Maybe he can kind of curb this by getting someone to explain campfires and stuff to her or getting her and Cassie on some sort of day in the woods style course thing where they can learn how to not start a forest fire in a safe way. He gets the feeling if Roxy isn't able to learn, she'll just straight up trial and error that shit and that's not fucking safe so he does his best to make sure she understands this stuff.

He was hoping it would discourage her a little from doing it, but was prepared to have to fight her on this in the future. He was told by every other parent ever not to fucking do this when he asks for advice but he does it anyway after he catches Roxy experimenting at the Plex again. He is pleasantly surprised that she got so much smarter about it after this. Like, she made another fire, but it was very clearly contained, under control and somewhere a bit better than inside a building. He just reminds her not to do these things in certain places and she just. Doesn't.

Of course, Cassie doesn't either. She prefers to help Roxy out than to do it herself. She pushes for camping trips so they can really show her dad how much they learned and the thing she put the most effort into learning on that trip was making chocolate rice krispie cakes on the fire anyway.

Camping trip happens and Roxy makes the fire, Cassie's dad prepares the meals and Cassie makes the krispie cakes. The perfect team!

#meteors au #pop rox answers #they have fun!! #the thing with roxy is #she doesn't have the same information everyone else does #where she would know fire is dangerous #she would need to learn what makes fire NOT dangerous #and what leads to a tiny fire becoming a big fire and thus #dangerous to her! #once she understands she wouldn't need to try and learn through trial and error because she already knows #now does this stop her on her quest to find out what is and isn't flammable? #no. absolutely not. #but at least she's safe about it now! #which was the main concern here! #she discovers the blowtorch and shit anyway and with this knowledge that she IS only curious #Cassie's dad is much happier to explain it to her #......... and maybe let her have a turn so long as he can guide her paws #this is enough for her! #well. for now. #he's got to learn how she operates and this is one of those things that he takes a chance on that pays off #he's a fazbear technician! he knew everything there was to know about the physical design of the animatronics! #and then he learns. like REALLY learns #they're sentient and have been for years #and he only truly believed it when he agreed to take Roxy in #and it's the strangest thing #because sometimes he sees glimmers of what he knows was programmed into her #but other times she's so different #he only ever truly understood a small fraction of her and the others #and now that he's living with roxy and talking more with the other animatronics he's starting to see more and more #of the stuff that was ALWAYS there that he just never looked for and they never trusted him to show
