Once again a little self-promo cuz I’ve been making it a personal project to pay attention to the music in Ms. Marvel and update playlists on Spotify/Apple Music with each episode drop.

This week’s episode had SO many songs! We got another Ritviz feature + some classic Bollywood for the wedding. Would have enjoyed actually hearing Brown Jovi tho lmao. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able find a few of the songs on Spotify or Apple music yet, but everything else been added to my playlist. Check ‘em out if you’re interested in the music!

As a South Asian person I gotta say I love this show for how it blends in culture (I want more spoken Urdu tbh) but especially the music. They’ve been featuring stuff I expected (Bollywood, MIA, Jalebi Baby) plus adding in Coke Studio songs (a Pakistani mainstay for the last 14 years) and artists like Ritviz. It’s pretty cool to see such a diverse offering of music so far. Definitely a Pakistani/North Indian viewpoint, but that makes sense imo. Punjabi culture has its specificity.
