The Green Lama (really old and now public domain comics and pulps and a radio show and recently Project Super Powers)
Apparently he's not Public domain as much as he is an open source character, but ok.
I'm pretty sure the character would play videogames, venting his rage and frustrations to avoid harming people as much as possible.

The return of Dr. Who has me looking through my old art projects, and I found this comic strip I never got round to completing. The only 2 (two) panels I actually finished were these:
I've made peace with the fact I'll likely never finish this comic, but I think these panels hold up pretty well on their own. Me too, dalek. Me too.

I think one of my favorite things about saiki k and the reason i keep coming back to it is how it takes superpowers that we are so used to thinking of as something amazing and highlights just how awful something like that can be. It takes the extraordinary and flips it on its head and say "hey but wouldnt this actually suck if you think about for more than three seconds?" Its something i really like because it creates much more interesting characters imo. A lot of super powerful characters in media feel pretty flat because the focus is on how great and awesome their powers are, but in saiki k you just have this guy who is basically god but hayes it and is dead set on being as average as possible. One of my other favorite things is all the disability metaphor potential

Woah dang, waking up to 99+ notifs on tumblr almost always means that an old Homestuck piece is going around again... imagine my delighted surprise to see it was all notifs about Soli!
That was a great thing to wake up to. Felt an actual flutter in my chest.
Thank you so much, everyone!
And apologies for how Elias' hair keeps subtly changing. You always kind of figure out exactly how a character looks and how to draw them as you go along with sequential art. It, funny enough, largely comes from figuring out their acting (so lots and lots of different angles and features that need to shift/change slightly to carry the weight of looking like they should feel, for lack of a better way to describe it )
At any rate, glad to see people are excited for chapter 3! next update will be next week, and will be a two page spread.
