Hello,may I ask how yattemita works on the arcade games for s2&s3?I'm confused because Mel and Sara used the same yattemita despite wearing different brands on s2 and it appears that each unit only use one yattemita now on s3.

In the PriChan arcade game? Ummm... it was usually brand-based except for maybe a few coord-specific ones I think.

But honestly.

The PriChan arcade game is long gone, and so are a lot of my memories of it. Also, I never got to play season 3 at all because I left Japan at the beginning of 2020. Sorry!

to me the most obvious route for s2 is all the magician partners get human forms and join the teams kind of like prichan s3 but this is not a franchise that always takes the obvious paths so for all we know primagi s2 could start with aliens landing on earth and joining the primagi

Kiratto Prichan Episodes 103-104

Disneyland is looking a bit different.

Season 3! Oh my Lord, I can't believe I'm finally here. I wish I could come here and be a little more excited because I was watching this and I was having a lot of fun, but at the same time, I couldn't really care for much of what was going on at the same time. Weird, I know. But I think this is a sign we're in the path for me to start enjoying Prichan again, it's just the spring cleaning of my feelings for last season that is taking too long.

A fun thing I noticed here is that I didn't really feel the change from S2 to S3 as much as I felt the change from S1 to S2. I think at this point I'm more used to the weirdness in this show so when a rich corporation comes around and builds a huge theme park out of nowhere and now you can interact with virtual mascots without entering a digital world I just buy it as it is. XD

The dynamic for this season also doesn't seem to change much from season 2, I mean when you look at it the Princess Cup thing is pretty much the Jewel Collection but with the Daia Fests integrated into, and now to win you gotta win the most of this seasons' gimmick cord instead of the gimmick coord being like your entrance number for the final contest. It's a simple thing, and it was presented in a fun way so I'm curious.

Like I said there weren't that big changes in characters, so there's no much point in doing a section to talk about Kiratts and Meltic and what changed for them because it's pretty much still the same. I just don't get why Anna seems so blood-thirsty with this rivalry between the two groups now, but in Episode 104 she seems fine to be loosing, so I think this is more a thing of an external influence rather than what Anna truly feels so I think I'm okay with this sudden change.

The new toy gimmick of this season is the PritamaGOand I really don't like this thing, it feels like they've been downgrading from season to season instead of upgrading in terms of things that were supposed to make Prichan easier. However I do like the mascots thing, it feels a bit weird because it's one mascot for the whole team but it feels like KiracCHU and Melpan only have a connection to Mirai and Anna, but since this is still only the beginning of the season it is understandable that this would start with the centers.

And since I'm talking about the mascots let'stalk about the new characters of this season.

I had no opinion on KiracCHU before and I don't have an opinion her now. But I'm really disappointed at Melpan because from the promo images I was "OMG I LOVE HER, SHE'S MY DAUGHTER", but GOSH SHE'S ANNOYING!!! I hope this is just a very bad first impression and that she gets better as time goes on because I could barely stand her. The other character that didn't really leave an impression on me was Meganii, he's supposed to be quirky and all but to me he's just whatever, and I already got that the joke about him will be "what's his relation with Meganee?" and from what was shown I already know this will never be explained and it will grow old very fast as a joke (in my case it already did).

The other new set of characters is Alice, Eve, and their mascots. I love them both, Alice is a lot of fun, and I love how despite looking more serious and everything Eve is just as much of an air-head as Alice is.

But I have a few problems, first is their age, like the girls be here looking like they're in the same age range as Anju but they want me to believe they're in the same age as Mirai and the other girls, which I believe is mentioned in episode 103 that is 13 or something? And like, Alice lives alone in a camper that is also how she works to make a living for herself, this doesn't sound like a life of a 13-year-old. This show can throw me some absurd things and I'll buy it but there are some things that are just ridiculous, especially when they already have adult characters that are also idols in this show, they don't need to do this.

Another thing they didn't have to do was make Alice's backstory so easy to figure out. Like, they could've said that Alice was born in Japan without mentioning that she was baby her father found in the back of a giraffe. Like, it's so obvious now that Alice and Eve are sisters, it'll take all the joy of the confirmation whenever it happens. Of course, there are things yet to be revealed like how did they get separated, but the show is somehow trying to imply that Luluna has something to do with it because of that shady scene at the end of Ep104, and I'm not here for it. I already said this and I'll say it again, we don't need villains to have conflict in idol anime. This really bugged me and not even Luluna's gorgeous human form can make me overlook this fear I'm feeling.

I think the only thing left to comment on is the music. I like the opening song, it's not my favorite but I do like it, and I love the visuals. The ending song is shit, I'm sorry, but it is very gorgeous visually. I'm still not sure how I feel about Kiratts' new song, I like the chorus but everything else is just more of the same, but I was never much of a fan of Kiratts' songs so it's not surprising. But I call bs in that explanation thing that they've done for the new song, as fun as that escape room thing was I don't buy that they learned the new song subconsciously from that, they could've just been blatant about it and say they had a new song, this is one of the cases were explaining things too much is worse than leaving us in the dark. But I do like their new coords, I think it's my favorite Kiratts group coord from all seasons so far.

I think that's all I had to say. I have a few complaints bout some minor stuff like they treating dessert pizza like if they were discovering electricity when sweet pizzas have been around for ages, but I rather don't waste either mine or your time with those things. I wasn't even aware of that coord until you told me about it, but it's really cute! But I don't know if she'll get it, because there were no special episodes or coords for Halloween or Christmas.

the lunasolu arc has been the high part of prichan s3 for me and I don't know why it's ended with them becoming constellations but I shouldn't have expected anything normal from prichan

S3 of prichan. Theres mascots. Sometimes kiracchu is in her original little egg mouse thing form, and sometimes shes a girl. They put Yui in this season, too, for some reason, so she needed a mascot, so instead of punicorn, it was kuma, but this kuma had himika akaneyas voice and said shit like 'kashikuma'..... So when it evolved. It became laala.

Id say that it makes more sense in context but it really doesnt. It just... Was a thing that happened.

Kiratto Prichan Episodes 105-106

Things are going quite fast around here, aren't they?

Disappointed. That's how I feel about these episodes. Not that they were utterly bad or anything, but like, things went so fast, there was no good build-up for anything and the rewards we pretty much reverted after we got them so there's no feeling of fulfillment.

I feel like I would've felt way more okay bout these episodes had they come a little later on the series, but as of now, I see problems with it. I don't know if they hurried up with this plot because they knew they would have to take a break because of the pandemic or if this was always intended to be happening as of episodes 3 and 4 of the season since the start, but regardless of what it was, it doesn't change the fact that it was too soon.

But to give the show credit I feel like Ep105 wasn't very affected by this since it was pretty much an Easter filler episode, without explicitly saying it was n Easter episode. and it was a very fun one at that. They even managed to make me start liking KiracCHU and Melpan, they had very good moments in this episode, and they even managed to hit a somewhat emotional scene in the middle.

My problems with this episode come in the fact that they "evolved" to their chibi forms (I believe they're called Pretty Mascots) way too quickly, we barely saw these mascots growing so it doesn't feel as rewarding. And it gets even worse when we get to know that these forms aren't permanent and that they get back once they're out of the Park grounds, this all feels bit underwhelming.

But this episode had a platypus laying a PrettyEgg pretty much on-screen so I think this gives this episode a pass. XD We also got to see the third mascot wandering around which is curious because I thought she was Ring Marry's mascot, but Ring Marry is still in New York so...? Questions.

Now, Episode 106 was my biggest disappointment. Here's where the thing of being too soon really hurts because we had no build-up at all for this and everything that was supposed to be big moments just feels shallow. Like, right at the beginning when I knew what this episode would be about I already knew what was going to happen at the end and it was just as lackluster as I imagined.

And I'm not even sad for the fact of seeing Meltic StAr lose again, at this point I'm already used to that. But the episode had literally nothing that could justify Kiratts win there other than they had a new song where Meltic didn't, but even Kiratts new song doesn't make it feel any special because we've been watching this exact same song, with the exact same coords, with nothing new being added to it, for the past 4 episodes.

Another thing that gets hurt for the rushing is KiracCHU idol transformation. Again, it wasn't a thing that feels earned because we've seen very little of her, this is also another thing that gets reversed at the end so it doesn't feel as rewarding AGAIN, and the biggest problem is that since this is the first time we see it happening they have to explain what it happened after the fact which takes the focus of them winning, that should've been the more important thing here.

I could come here and talk about how ugly the Illuminage coords are, but I already knew this fact so I knew what to expect. I'm actually just glad that they used a different effect to light up the dress because the ones they use for the arcade game are horrendous and give me headaches. So at least that they got right.

But I think what I hated the most was seeing what they're doing with Anna? I know I said before that I was fine with it, and I WAS. Up until this episode. But here she's just shady, she's not talking about anything, and we don't have her side, we don't have her side, we don't know what is going on on her mind so it just seems like she's becoming a bitch for no reason. I like that there's this thing now of her directly going for Mirai instead of Emo to show that she's serious now, but just making her become this mysterious girl without explanation, without a proper build-up, it just feels very wrong.

And they had time to at least give us something about Anna. They had those scenes with Alice at the beginning of Episode 105 that served no purpose at all, I know it's a short time, but we could've gotten something there. If they wanna keep the shady feel because this is something they want to explore later they also could've done it, just make a scene of Anna staring to the horizon with something that can be a hint, they didn't even need to have her speak or anything, just drop a hint so you can call it a foreshadowing later on. I don't know, anything they gave us would've been better than give us nothing.

I'm sorry this aspect is really bugging me, and not even making KiracCHU shove her butt inside Emo's mouth can make overlook this.
