meet me in a poem of an iron bed
wipe the dust away
meet me in the tintypes from long ago
trace the lines of my face

Getting a double-glass suncatcher frame in to start making pressed plant stuff for my shop!~
I ordered a cheap one to arrive tomorrow to test and to get some pretty pictures with for product photos and I'm really excited.
I have like 3 books with their covers full of drying plants I cannot wait to use for fun and pretty designs.
I've been testing what plants and stuff press well from work and I can safely say: dandelion flowers and trout lily leaves Do Not. But jetbead flowers, dandelion leaves, and dogwood petals Do. Dogwood flowers are next experiment as they're kinda thick in the middle.

I've been growing so much this year and collecting so many beautiful flowers and leaves to press and create art with in the months when nothing grows. Looking forward to be able to still interact with plants in some way despite everything being dormant.

My 2nd round of pressed flowers 💐
They don't look as nice as the last lot, but it's probably because I didn't spread the petals out as well. The smallest one is probably my favourite.
