A small story for entertainment. I have history of art classes in an office filled with weird kind of unsetteling paintings and general art (like several posters made by Starowieyski) that our professor of philosophy collects. And so today our professor of art painfully realized how scared he is of all these things, and after several minutes of rambling about what these paintings show he went quiet. Then he phoned philosophy professor and asked: "Hey, are you maybe a Satanist???" (1/2)

"Ok, maybe satanist is too big of a word, but maybe you're an ocultist???" He was neither, but I think we will have a lecture about occultic practices in pre-romantic times which sounds rather good. (2/2)

Oh no, that lecture sounds exciting! The assumption one may recognise a Satanist or an occultist by their aesthetic choices is rather sweet, too - although, admittedly, I both adore and occasionally add to what the world of odd art has to offer.
