If you are running a poll tournament blog please be kind to yourself and turn off anon.
You are going to get anon hate because a lot of people on here are very rude, and you don’t need to subject yourself to that. This has happened to literally every tournament on here with anon on.
Save yourself the trouble, take away the option, and if people still want to cause trouble they can say it with their chest and get blocked.

Every time I accidentally hit the wrong button in a poll, I get so upset. Like oh no I’VE CONTAMINATED THE DATA as if the stakes are life and death, lmao.

Biden's position on Israel is political suicide. It *will* cost them the next election.
66% of Americans in a representative sample of likely voters agree with a ceasefire and de-escalation of violence in Gaza.
80% of Democrats
57% of Independents
56% of Republicans

Emma’s mother has died; her sister and governess have married; and her dad is a hypochondriac who hardly ever leaves home. But Emma, young and alone as she is, is socially the leading woman in town. Everyone curtsies low to her.
Mr Knightley sees she’s still too young to have that much unchecked power, so he takes her under his wing. He teaches her that social position gives one undue influence, and one must stay aware of that and use it as little as possible — or if deployed, used for good. One must observe, one must stay aware of others’ situations, and help them without them having to ask, so they aren’t humiliated.
Emma knows this in theory but she keeps getting tripped up on appearances. She knows the rules but misses the underlying reason for them.
That’s it, that’s the whole book…
In my culture the age difference between Emma and Knightley makes their eventual romantic involvement feel squidgy. Especially because she calls him “Mr.” It comes across as uncle/niece or professor/student. But there is another equivalent, and in fact there’s practically a sub-genre of modern romance novels with this setup: older sibling’s best friend.
Did everybody already know this?
So! Where I was headed! I’ve been imagining what their lives were like before the start of the book. I imagine Isabella and John and Emma all playing together while George was either away at school, or following his father and the steward all over the estate — never getting to play with them, always having to think of everyone else, always being responsible. Which means he’s drawn to Emma’s playful energy, and that’s why he’s so fiercely jealous when she’s silly and open and flirty with Frank. He wants her with him always — but not like that — not arrogant and careless. She has to learn a few lessons first.

omg red guy poll. omg blue guy poll. the possibilities...I could give up on putting jc in a controversial character poll I run and instead just go the purple route. unfortunately I hate purple and I fear running such a poll would send me into the madness. and I don't like jc enough to do that my myself tho he is currently my favorite pinata clown baby. red and black though. that could be something
