There’s a certain feel to a Kel Dor that is expected when one crosses paths with the eldest and supposedly wisest of the Koon Family within the Jedi Temple.
Many Jedi both young and old were acquainted with Master Plo Koon and his calm and steady ways, his kindness and gentle words that could turn razor sharp when pressed. A pillar, old and wise, like the steady rock of the planet or the rolling rumbles of thunder ensuring what is to come. The Clones knew him, some better than their own Generals with how fast word spread among them. A protector, a defender, a man who could earn the rank of General easily had he been a soldier of rank and title rather than just a Jedi given the authority. A man who would willingly lay his life down for another.
Many were acquainted with Sha Koon, a knight known for being a bit more clipped and matter-of-fact in comparison to her uncle. Jedi knew her as the Koon who could dissect a man with a gaze, and the Koon with a memory that never lost its touch, but she was calm and steadfast like her uncle was. The clones knew her by way of rumor, how she no longer operated on the field but her words of refusing to fight for the sake of violence and useless wars rang in their hearts. What use was a battle that wouldn’t even help the war? Gaining a planet that wouldn’t have been a loss even if it was taken? The senseless bloodshed? They kept those words in their hearts and knew she was like her Uncle and had such a love for them.
The younger two of the Koons, both wise and steadfast— there was an expected feeling from them. Like a storm rolling in, like the rock of the planet, like an anchor in the ocean, a lighthouse on the sea.
Fae Koon was different.
An oddity among the Koons, some would say. Age and time had not been kind to him, an ancient and elusive being. And yet…
If Plo was a storm from a distance, the steady rumble and rains. If Sha was the planet, rocking and moving without faltering…
Fae was the wind. Swift and unpredictable. He tore through enemies in combat and ripped apart debates with sharp words and clear messages.
The other Kel Dor called him Etu'soh'Makai-Du'ul-Siksta, The One Whose Wind Cuts Through The Darkened Sleep. The name of a violent Wind Spirit known for tearing apart settlements when enraged, known for the howling of the winds when one sleeps.
Perhaps at one point, he had been the same as his nephew. Strong, wise, steady, and calm. But now he was quiet until provoked, elusive and haunting the halls until called upon. A ghost roaming the battlefield tearing apart enemies and leaving naught a trace behind him.
And yet The quiet from him wasn’t a form of looming danger, but a form of contentment and comfort.
Fae Koon was different.
But he was not bad in that way. And no matter how different he was, his younger relatives loved him, there was no doubt about that.
And there was no doubt that just like the two of them, Fae Koon loved and cared for others so deeply with a genuine heart.

Short Plo Koon Headcanons.
A/N: Because of recent rise with recanonizing of species in Star Wars heights and including Jedi Council members, I decided to throw my hat into the ring. The idea was started by @penguinkiwi and @nibeul by this post:
Now without further ado:
Plo has always been smaller than his peers to say the least. During his Padawanship, most were surprised when Master Tyvokka was accompanied by a small Kel Dor for a Padawan and vice versa. Whenever enemies tried to one up Plo, they would reply with “Hello, Master” with Master Tyvokka walking up calmly to assist them. The opponents were flabbergasted by the two. Even when Plo was a Knight most were surprised when they saw Master and Padawan on a mission.
Though with the height disadvantage, Tyvokka and to some degree his Uncle Thun encouraged him to use his size to his advantage. Plo was more of a gymnast and martial artist than a wrestler, and thus took up different forms of hand to hand combat as well as optimizing Form V to his advantage when he duels. He is fit for his height and age, but prefers weaving against his opponent as he searches for an opening. Most consider him to be graceful as he weaves in a fight, but he never notices as he eased the tension in his limbs and observing his opponent.
He does enjoy a good spar amongst friends though, as the group sparring sessions are quite an event to most as well as a rare opportunity.
Plo is four hundred years old and is sometimes used to being picked up in every which way. By the waist by Oppo when they were younger and they didn’t like to be held by others who they were unfamiliar with. Oppo calmly would lift them by the tail as they were reading. Even to this day when they play Dejarik together, he would jokingly lift him in the air to distract him.
He has also been scooped up into someone’s arms without much of a reaction, as it was Master Tyvokka preferred method of holding them when they were a Padawan so they wouldn’t get lost. It is also Kit’s preferred method of lifting him as he works while sitting in his arms.
Other methods include being slung over the shoulder by captors, piggybacking on friends while being tired, and bridal style while sleeping but will become flustered. Another way Kit carries him when they head back to their apartment with sleeping Kel Dor in his arms after a mission. He think he looks adorable sleeping against his chest.
Speaking of Kit—who is ten feet tall by the way—Plo likes sitting in his lap as he reads whenever they are outside while basking in warm weather, as well as in the communal areas in the Temple among friends and their friends always notice how the short Jedi Master settles himself comfortably in the tall Nautolan’s lap. Kit wraps his arm comfortably around his waist. If anyone asked why, Plo would respond with “Kit likes to…?”
Another thing Plo doesn’t care about is if people decide to throw him in the air, he already uses the Force augment his jumps in the air. Sometimes his husband or daughters will calmly throw him into the air so he can kick an opponent in the face or to get to a ledge for scouting.
In terms of clothes, Plo used to swim in their robes growing up. When they were a Padawan they liked how warm their Master’s long were and wanted to have long robes too. They would have trouble tripping, but they didn’t mind at first before Master Tyvokka gently coaxed them into wearing smaller robes. They agreed as long as they got to keep their long cloak. Tyvokka relented and let them keep it.
As an adult, Plo wore clothes that fit him often, but he did prefer long cloaks as he felt warm and safe when wearing them. His cloaks vary as some touch and sweep against the ground while others stop at his ankles or his calves. He always has more baggy clothes to feel relaxed in while the family and friends preferred to watch movies or game nights.
Most didn’t realize the difference between Kel Dor heights as Kel Dor are rarely seen off of Dorin, so when others saw him next to his six foot and seven inches niece, they were flabbergasted. Even more so when they saw him with his Uncle, who was also six foot and seven inches. His Uncle is rarely seen on Coruscant any more as he is a Jedi Shadow.
Sha started out small like all Kel Dor children were, but she was fast grower. When she was fifteen years old, she managed to reach her Uncle much to her amusement. Then when she was eighteen, she was six foot seven inches and smiled at him while Plo sighs fondly. When she reached thirty years old is when she last checked.
It isn’t uncommon to see the Giants of the Council gunning it down the hallway because of whatever shenanigans had occurred, as Master Fisto runs from Master Ti, who is seven feet tall, while causing a ruckus. If you squint you can see Master Koon read while Master Fisto holds him.
Mace had a headache that day while holophotos of the incident of the three circled around the servers. No one knows who took the photos, but everyone comments and laughs about it.
I hope you enjoyed the headcanons. I like recanonizing Plo’s height to 5’5” as it just feels right for him. He personally doesn’t care what others think of him unless it’s in a joking manner. I also apologize if there is trouble with the formatting. I tried my best to get it to work.

would love to hear your thoughts on the other tcw or whichever voices 👀
also have to agree that the did cin dirty in the show, i think they used dbb actually ajsbhdbssj
ok ok ok ok
so Cin's actually voiced by Robin Atkin Downes, who actually is pretty close to Nick Gillard's actual voice and accent: See here [Downes in TCW] vs [Gillard in RotS Interview]
Now before, I mentioned like half a year ago that i personally like the voice for the Yellow Kyber in Galaxy's Edge's holocron see [here]— but apparently, this guy has a name and its Kolloma Ree and he's my son now, thanks.
ANYWAYS!!
Keeping with my trend of redesigning Cin Drallig, my first pick for a new voice for him would be Tony Leung because a.) it fits the redesign (because thats him!! or my attempts at baseing it off of him) and b.) well, it fits. The tone and the vibes are just the best.
I think the mid-low register range that Tony Leung has works best, so around that range for any other voice actors but I cant think of any more off the top of my head right now. Perhaps Ryōtarō Okiayu or Ray Chase who both voice Vlad III in Fate/Apocrypha and Grand Order (And Extella for Okiayu? I think)
I have so many words about using fucking James Arnold Taylor for fucking Plo Koon though. Beppi asked me about it before and i just AAAAAAAAA
I hate it. So much. I understand why they did it, but In my opinion, if you're going to have an important reoccouring character like Plo Koon dont use a repeat voice actor with a voice modifier and a slightly lower pitch.
I have a lot of options that I mentioned before but essentially my two top picks are literally any voice that Jouji Nakata has done though im very partial to his (English) Kotomine Kirei and King Hassan voices, and Kunihio Yasui's Li Shuwen Lancer. Crispen Freeman's English Dub of King Hassan and Alucard (who is also played by Nakata lmao) are also very good options. You can find more on my thoughts for Plo Koon [Here]
obviously, Temura Morrison is forever the voice of the Clones, mhm!
I did actually like Phil Lamar as Kit Fisto though! I thought it was very well done, I wouldn't change much there. Loved the accent fhdjhfjd
I do think its bullshit that Tholme's dead in TCW so I hand him Bill Butts' work as Kyosuke Hori
DBB is fine for Saesee Tiin, he did a good job there, but I still really adore TC Carson's work as him from the 03 series more. You really cannot beat the "It's time to get a new one" from that series.
For most of the TCW i actually dont mind, but also since so many of my favorites are not canon / dont speak at all its a bit tough. Like Tholme here are some takes for some of my others:
The Grand Inquisitor (Baby ver): Lucien Dodge as Lord El Melloi II (Obvs, Jason Isaacs did a fantastic job but Dodge sounds a bit younger than Isaacs and we do know that TCW was a good few years before Rebels. I very much do not like the Kenobi version though fhjdhfjd)
Sha Koon (English ver): Genevieve Simmons as Bort (I did her and Bultar Swan's JP Dub voices [here] same with Bene's !!)
Voolvif Monn: Kaji Tang as Kouen Ren
Oppo Rancisis: I think his voice was pretty OK in the 03 series, but I do like Motomu Kiyokawa's Walter C. Dornez from the original Hellsing Ultimate Sub
AND I THINK FILONI SHOULD HAND OVER EMBO TO SOMEONE ELSE THO HFJDHFJDHFD NO MORE FELONY COWBOY IN MY HOUSE
I also have OC voice claims/HCs if you're intersested lmao

kiwi i would be utterly delighted to learn about how the order is in the kiwiki verse; especially the areas that are neglected in canon
Of course!
In the Kiwiki the Jedi are divided into four class groups rather than three:
Guardians are the Warrior Class, they are made up of Jedi who prefers to be out on battlefields or hone their fighting skills in the more traditional way. Jedi Aces or the Ace Pilots of the Jedi are also in this group. It is not to say that they are warmongers, however, they just prefer to be out with their feet on the ground and hands in the nitty gritty, so to speak. Think along the lines of Anakin Skywalker, Agen Kolar, or Ahsoka Tano— but also Saesee Tiin
Consulars are the Political Class, so to speak. Where Guardians fight, the Consulars take time to find negotiations, they are the political liaisons and diplomats, along with seers and researchers. They understand how politics work and use it to their advantage. On top of that, the Healers also fall into this division with Lore-Keepers and archivists. Obi-Wan Kenobi, Kit Fisto, Eeth Koth, and Jocasta Nu are the ones you think of, but also Vokara Che, and Adi Gallia.
Sentinels are the rather unorthodox division, and while they are often seen as the balance between the Guardians and Consulars, they are much more than that. Divisions such as The Shadows, Instructors, Watchmen, Seekers, Culinary Jedi, Investigators, and artisans fall into this group. They are both distinctive yet blend into the other classes and don't stick strictly to the traditions of the Order. This division has more acceptance of non-force techniques and non-traditional jedi skills. Think Quinlan Vos, Tholme, Terra Sinube, Micah Giett, and even Plo Koon.
The Guard is solely made up of the Jedi Temple Guard and their Sibling branches (such as the Guard at Lola Sayu or at other Temples, though these branches grew more or less dilapidated and returned to the main body as the Order drew itself closer into Coruscant). The Peace Keepers and Gate Keepers are also associated with this class, but it should be known that they are technically Sentinels.
Think of the four classes as such: In the case of a locked door, the Guardian will try and break it down, the Consular will try and negotiate with the person who locked the door, the sentinels will pick the lock, and the Guard is on the other side holding the door closed (lol)
Within these Class Categories, there are other Divisions/jobs that the Jedi can do. I sort of stated it before when listing examples, such as the Ace Starfighter Pilots, the Healers, and Investigators.
(More below but this is getting a bit long lol)
Within each of these divisions are smaller departments that are created based on specialty— for example, the various artisan groups, research groups, combat vs academic instructors, the various classes of healers, archivists who are more into research and logging vs those who prefer writing and creating, and so on.
Each department has a department Head, and then each division has a head picked from these department heads. In the Kiwiki, Cin Drallig heads both the Instructors and Jedi Temple Guard, but Anoon Bondara (before his death) was the Department head for the Combat Instructors. Similarly, Coleman Kcaj is both the Division head of the Artisans and the Department Head of the textile workers, Jocasta Nu heads the Archive Division and the Lore-keeping department, and Vokara Che is head of the Halls of Healing and the General Department of Healers, but OCs of mine— Altha, Nix Mora, and Bruce Rion— head the Mind Healer, Pediatrician, and Surgical departments. And so on and so forth.
(I'll talk about the Guard in a second)
Unfortunately, after the High Republic Era ended (roughly 82 BBY), the various Divisions began to fall to the wayside. On a traditional level, the Jedi Initiates were still offered many choices to choose from and Jedi Masters and Knights in those divisions would gladly train the initates who were interested in joining their divisions, but the equal power that Division heads had in decision-making slowly wained.
For example, the Councils would often make decisions and the Divisions would only learn of them after instead of being there in person. While the Division heads did not expect to be there for every bit of news and meeting, major events and news to be broken had the input of Division Heads in the past.
When the War ends in 18 BBY (Kiwiki'Verse), many of the Division Heads start putting pressure on the Councils for things to return to the pre-end of the high republic balance— this certainly did happen, especially with the reconstruction of the High Council as well.
In terms of the Jedi Temple Guard, there is a bit of a divide as the Jedi Temple Guard are the only Division to not accept Padawans into their ranks. You are either Knighted upon entering the Guard or have been Knighted previously. This is because the training within the Guard's ranks is rather brutal and Children are seen as too young to deal with that. Both mentally and physically.
The Guard also has its own structure and departments: General Guard, Night Guard, Lower Level Patrol, Political Guard, Healers, Ventilation Patrol, Sniper Corp, Trainers, and the Investigations
The General Guard is where you fall if you don't think you can fit into any of the other groups
the Night Guard primarily works for the Nocturnal Shift
The Lower Level Patrol deals with the lowest levels of the Jedi Temple
The Political Guard mostly goes with other Jedi to the Senate or acts as Jedi Escorts with Political Liaisons. They also transfer dangerous criminals— think when the guard brought Barriss in
The ventilations patrol patrols the vent systems in the temple. They were either all on strike because they don't get paid or cad bane killed the patrol during the holocron heist. one of the two.
The Sniper Corp is the least known branch of the Guard and are stationed along the top of the temple in hidden places. They keep watch for threats from the outside and act as cover and ranged fighters if the Temple is attacked externally (ie: operation Knightfall)
Trainers are some of the oldest and who train the newer guard in how the guard functions and works.
Investigators keep tabs on holo-cams and act as shadow informants between the main temple and the shadows.
All of the Guard within the division branches will jump around as needed and all are assigned to general patrols, front guard, and so on. It's like a miniature version of the main Order.
Anyways, There's a lot more that is just drifting in my brain, but that's the main gist of it.
TLDR: There are Classes -> Divisions -> Departments (based on Speciality) but there's definitely overlap and sticking with just one department, division, or even Class is not required— it's actually highly encouraged to learn under a number of departments at least. If you can crossover through Divisions and even Classes, all the better!

Arvid has always and will continue to always burn. He has and will radiate heat, a heat that grows little by little, an inner flame that is impossible to douse. An inferno runs through his veins, blood like molten lava, and breath that sparks dance on when he exhales sharp enough.
One day, this internal flame will burn too hot, and the human form that he constructed when he shed his true form will burn away and he will return to what he once was.
For the human body cannot contain the inferno of a molten planet within itself.
And when that day comes, Arvid has said that he will cease to exist. For when his human self is burned away, so must the man known as Arvid Cairn die.

Those who know Arvid consider him to be a warm and kind person but a good majority of the Temple, those who do not know Arvid well, often see him as aloof and cold.
To them, he is often regarded as a person who is uninterested in others and often avoids social interactions.
There are some who deem him to be smiliar to Voolvif Monn in that they are both ‘code extreemests’— Jedi who take the Code very seriously to the point of ‘no attachments’ quite literally meaning ‘no one close’ such as friends or even lineage relations.
Arvid is none of the above in reality. His disinterest and avoidance of social interaction stems from a number of things, but those who do know Arvid understand that he has a relatively short attention span due to him being exhausted more often than not.
Arvid, himself, does not consider himself to be a warm or even a good person. He calls himself decent and distant at best, an outlier to the liveliness that exists in the Temple.
He finds things that many Jedi enjoy- Such as Saber practice, and acedemic debates— to be tedious, but he enjoys his work so he spends much more time in the Woodworking Studios than anywhere else around the Temple, hence why he is known for avoiding others.
But still, he does not ever turn down requests from those he knows. If he is invited to train or debate, he will, and if a child asks something from him, he will try his best to do what it is they ask of him. As long as it is in reason.

The Jedi Temple Guard has MASSIVE beef with the Senate Guard and vice versa. Neither group can openly fuck the other over, though, because Jedi aren’t supposed to hold grudges (according to the public but literally we know better in the Order) and the Senate Guard cant just jump a bunch of Jedi (They’ll get their asses kicked) but the fucking tension is there whenever the Senate Gaurd has to escort a Senator to the Temple.
That’s the real reason why the Clones were brought in for the Coruscant Guard, because the Temple and the Senate Guards fucking hate each other and the Senators couldn’t handle the tension between the two Guard Groups.
It doesn’t get better.
Because the Temple Guard instantly went “Yeah these are our brothers now” and Cin signed the adoption papers, much to Plo’s ire at getting there first. Now there is no neutral ground because now the Coruscant Guard and the Temple Guard both are ready to kick the Senate Guard’s collective ass.
No one remembers why the Temple Guard hate the Senate Guard and vice versa, nor who started it. It’s just always been.

Thinking about Artisan Jedi who track paint everywhere, who show up to meetings and meals with paint on their faces, their hands, their clothes, and hair. About potters and sculptors with clay stuck to places no one would expect them to be (”how did you get clay stuck in your fur, anyways?”), metal workers covered in soot, handing off pieces of charcoal to the sketchers who wander down for more.
About the weavers and sewers creating tapestries that tell stories for the Jedi, about leather crafters who make ridiculous belts for the Jedi just for kicks and giggles, about carpenters making new chairs or stools for Madame Nu in the archives because the old ones are too wobbly or worn down.
About the glass blowers making beautiful works of decoration, but also wonderful glasses and tumblers who wish for them. About the book crafters working closely with archivists and archeologists to restore paper-texts, candle makers working with the agricorp to get wax, about paper makers, jewelry makers, about Artisan Jedi.
About how Painters and Textile workers, and soap makers, and potters would duel over  pigments to create paints, dyes, coloration, and glazes, about how artisans would tag along with other Jedi just to get materials, about how even though they were seen as some of the most passive Jedi, they were rather dangerous due to their one-track minds— who would get in the way of an artist and their materials, after all?
About how the metal workers worked with the Instructors to create lightsaber parts, about how the textile and leather workers worked with the Temple Guard to make their uniforms sturdier.
Thinking about Jedi Artisans.

Disaster Lineage and How Well They Can Cook (based off of vibes)
Dooku Can cook a basic meal. Nothing super extravagant (why bother when he has people who can do it for him?) but decent enough to taste very good.
Qui-Gon Jinn Can cook boxed dinners or cans of soup. Lived off of wild mushrooms once, so he knows how to cook those, but nothing else.
Xantos Can’t really cook but he tried his best ™
Feemor Who do you think kept Jinn alive during his padawanship?
Obi-Wan Can cook and can cook well. Though baking is his downfall. At least he hasn’t burned down his quarters yet. Anakin swears he’s the best cook, though, so at least he has that going for him.
Anakin The kitchen is on fire and God is dead
Ahsoka Doesn’t know how to cook, eats raw meat right out of the package or lights it on fire. Best to just let one of her like seven dads or Shaak Ti do it for her.
Cin Tired, but cooks very well. Someone has to make sure the Temple Guard get fed. Sucks at determining the correct amount of food though, so he always ends up with a shit ton of leftovers. Once fell asleep while making soup for Bene when they  both got sick
Serra She can follow a recipe but that’s about it. She does her best though, but any deviation from what’s written is bound to be really weird.
Bene She’s really good at baking and making sandwiches. Literally any type of sandwich. It’s kinda weird how good she is at making sandwiches.
Kit Either everything is on fire or its a goddamn full course, five star meal. there’s no in between and really, Kit would rather get take-out. Doesn’t want to risk burning down the kitchen or blanking out and suddenly there’s a full course meal
Nahdar Does not know how to cook. Thought that beating the eggs meant hand to hand combat
Bant She’s good but she never has time to cook due to being busy in the Halls of healing. She’s really good at making Caf too, so that’s something that she can do while working. Ikrit Is still missing in action, therefore unable to cook.
Yoda No.

Jedi with little collections of trinkets that their friends and their padawans pick up from off world missions.
Tholme has over thirty different types of decorative canes and also a lot of just random tea sets. He doesn’t have the heart to tell Aayla and Qinnlan that he can only use one cane at a time.
Coleman Kcaj gets all sorts of strange art supplies or paints. He once got a statue. It sits in the Artisan Jedi department office. Lots of the Padawan decorate it.
Half of Cin’s office is just a sword display with the other half basically being blanket central for the guards to take one and go.
Jocasta always gets scarfs and mittens, but also just various texts. Not for the archive, just for her. Some really nice paperback novels were gifts from archival padawans.
No matter how long it takes to get from the planet to the temple, someone always ends up gifting Kit Fisto a fish they got from a market at least once or twice a year. He has a whole wall filled with tanks of fish from around the Galaxy. Some are in the Gardens and Room of a Thousand Fountains.
Plo gets anything from Books to sweaters to mugs. Your typical “dad would like this” type of gift. He has yet to be given a set of space golf clubs but the Council has that on the gift bingo anyways.
Mace gets caf. And alcohol. Lord knows he needs it.

Once a year, before the Clone Wars started, the Jedi Temple would essentially open up the grounds to the public for the equivalent of a Festival.
Its a planet wide event, though, and it also helps raise money for Jedi. One day a year, the temple is opened up to the public, and every Temple Guard is pulled and on duty for security, most are in uniform, some are hidden, and some are in plainclothes or normal jedi robes. The Shadows are also on duty and security.
Exhibition matches, artisan wares, tours, and such are offered to be seen and bought. food is available, Jocasta and the Archival crew has an entire story time area for the children... there are seminars, and its always lots of fun
People buy wears, children love the fake lightsaber toys and buying dress-up robes, and it helps support the Jedi as well.
Coleman Kcaj is very proud of the silent auction where people bid on some of the models of Jedi ships

Little Dorin is one of the only places on Coruscant with a Type III atmosphere, meaning that it is a little bit dangerous to just waltz in and out, so there is a front gate you have to go through to get facemasks and other protective gear for those who need it
Lots of other species who live in Type III atmospheres also live in Little Dorin, and the Kel Dor there dont mind at all.
It's rather dim there in terms of lighting, as Kel Dor tend to prefer dimmer lighting when they can remove their goggles safely, and ofc, most kel dor there walk around without masks.
It's definitely one of those places thats for the more adventurous people due to everything from tourism locations  (like spas) to food being so different than other "little planets"
A high concentration of the Dorin Gemstones and goods are sold there, so merchants who want dorin gemstones often have to go there if they want them cheaper than they normally would be— they're pretty expensive either way.

Every day I wake up and think about how much just absolutely wild shit the Temple Guard sees every day. Everyone just expects them not to talk / keep it a secret because they’re these silent guardians and shit.
But at the end of the day, the entire Temple Guard knows that Anakin was eating the ants in the temple corridor or that Kit literally tripped up the stairs or that Oppo is definitely keeping a tooka in his beard.
And you know what this means? Cin Drallig also knows all of the wild and embarrassing shit that happens when the Jedi think that no one saw. The man has prime blackmail material because of his Kids™ just seeing all this wild shit around the temple.

Babies who get dropped off at the temple who don’t have names are named by the Crèche masters and caretakers, the same for those who find children abandoned in the wilderness— and some are named by the people who find them.
For some this name is temporary.
To the Jedi, names are both important and not. They can become transient, they can be left behind— As long as one is alright with it.
But there is love in your first name, the name you have as a child and carry through your padawanship.
As a Knight you have an option to change your name officially with no need to go through the paperwork process. Most choose to keep their names but some absolutely detach.
You can also choose to drop a name, or chose to add one.
Tholme dropped his family name, he had no wish to stay connected.
Cin kept his family name, but changed his given.
Fay never had a last name, and chose to keep it that way.
Scout plans on changing her name fully to just “Scout” or putting it before her actual name— she loves the nickname that her friends have given her, after all.
