i had a fun day 2 day ૮˶• ﻌ •˶ა everyone has been so nicey 2 me all day from the minute i left my house earlier ૮ ᴖﻌᴖა ♡⁠

i went to a Retreat for the first time for work earlier 0: and I did SO good for being up since 2am it didn't even feel like it 💀

it was so chill i drove like an hour away but Away from the city so there wasn't rly traffic and the mountains r so pretty 2 drive thru (❁´◡`❁) got some rain n v low clouds and since it's autumn there's all these pretty colors. i took an edible on the way n was just jammin out n enjoying the scenery among the many safe opportunities 2 look

and then at the thing we got 2 do different ice breakers n go on decently long breaks; i got 2 hang in different groups n actually Talk w a bunch of ppl which i never have time for omg. it's nice working at a legal nonprofit, i would NOT want to do this with corporate mfs !! 😹

went around n said hii to the enbies and i ran up a hill that looked a lot smaller than it was, i made it like 80% of the way before my legs were immediately like no girl we're done !! but my brain was like but it's Right There, and i struggled 2 finish the climb but I Did !! ૮ ᴖﻌᴖა and i was so so tired i do not remember ever being that winded before 💀 getting down was so much slower n worse bc my legs were Done and when i finally made it to the bottom i laid flat on my back for like 15m, and when when i made it back to sit n chill i still need like 10 more minutes akskska. i do not b exercising !! i just wanted 2 play it looked fun and i got excited (⁠｡⁠ﾉ⁠ω⁠＼⁠｡⁠)

in between things i was working on my sister's choker n kept winding up w a group of ppl around me 2 talk to about it and just talk 2 in general n the company was rly nice (❁´◡`❁) ♡ had a lot of different kinda talks 2day!! everyone is a sweetie!! some ppl r so funny n chill and i rly hope 2 get 2 talk more casually w people perhaps As Friends when i go in 👉👈

there's one girl in particular who is rly cute n sweet and i want 2 see her again ૮˶• ﻌ •˶ა when I got home finally i had 2 hop on my work laptop real quick 2 look up her name again 2 make sure i didn't forget ☝️😌 we do not work at the same office but hii i am visiting next week 🐇

“.....and how, pray tell, did you see me bash your head in??? Wouldn’t your vision just have gone dark?” Daemon asked his wife, Rhea, while unconcernedly digging into a meat pie on their dinner table.

Rhea and Daemon were eating alone on the large table, their three youngest children out hawking somewhere (their two eldest were under Lady Jeyne’s guardianship in the Erie currently). Rhea, having learned she was with child yet again a fortnight ago, had woken from a nap and just had to tell her husband about the nightmare she lived through. It had been too vivid not to be an omen.

“I never paid much attention when my father would tell me about omens and signs. Would that I had,” Rhea said worriedly, taking a small sip of goat’s milk and ignoring her own meat pie. “Then I wouldn’t be tormented by what this could mean.”

Daemon now turned his full attention to Rhea, putting down his fork and taking her hand to his cheek. It seemed like a trivial matter at first but now he could see how it bothered her so and that he couldn’t bear. Not his beloved Rhea.

“I think,” he began mischievously “it must mean I am the only one who could possibly cause you to lose your senses, or as this dream would have you believe, a metaphor for your senses: that lovely head of yours.”

Rhea rolled her eyes yet couldn’t help but smile at her husband, ever the rogue even after 15 years of marriage. “We Royces take our otherworldly signs very seriously, you know,” she reprimanded him, not the least bit serious. “There’s an endless amount of things this could mean.”

Daemon grinned, happy to have steered Rhea from her gloomy mood already. “And what of it?” he demanded. “You’re a Targaryen now, or have you forgotten? We Targaryens do not let ourselves be commanded by omens.” He kissed her hand, never removing his eyes from hers. “Now eat your meal, wife. I won’t have a child of mine malnourished in the womb!”

Rhea giggled, her horrible nightmare forgotten. Eating her meat pie with one hand was a chore (Daemon would not let go of her hand, insisting she be “punished” for not feeding the child in her womb right away) but she was happy to do it as long as it meant she had him by her side. Daemon, her beloved, who she could be her true self around and who Rhea was absolutely sure would never bash her head in.

#someone please free me from this existence #i want to take a nap #and read #and watch movies #and play all the silly little free games I downloaded on steam #december 17th please come faster I NEED A BREAK FROM DEALING WITH CHILDREN !!! #theyre really truly great kids #but it is SO EXHAUTING HAVING TO BE A RESPONSIBLE GROWN UP WHO TALKS LIKE A CARTOON CHARACTER #WHILE ALSO MANAGING AN ENTIRE A LITTLE TROUP OF VERY YOUNG KIDS #HEY i dont HAVE to be stressed out #TIS MY BRAIN i can think whatever I want -> found family titans noticing how stressed out I am and each doing little things to help me out #🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 #Dick would let me use the big ass monitors in the surveillance room make sure I use the comfortable chair so I dont fuck up my back again #Hank and Dawn would probably do some of the cooking -> make sure its something actually tasty but also healthy #and Gar would make sure I eat and drink water -> he'd bring little snacks too in the afternoon and maybe coffee 👀 even tho i probably + #shouldn't have any more (i drink a lot of coffee -> its a problem) #Jason would probably say “its not fair I get to skip training and the they dont” -> and they stay with me in while I work cause + #he remembered I said “body doubling helps me concentrate” #idk if he'd share the forbidden “unhealthy” snack he hides from Dick maybe if Im really stressed #he WOULD sneak a monster energy drink behind Dick's back for me cause i've been forbidden from drinking any more coffee #technically I'm not drinking coffee so no harm done :3 #RACHEL !!!
