A regular presence on the PCT and wonderful photographer, Weathercarrot, was on a June 21st flight from Dallas to Eugene and took some amazing photos of the Oregon Cascades. "As usual," he noted, "I deliberately chose a seat that would give me optimal visibility for aerial shots (near the back for minimal visuals of the wing and facing north so there's no sun glare)." You can follow the 'string of pearls' from the Three Sister north in the photo just above. I'll include a few more photos on a subsequent post . . . or go ahead and check out all the photos he took on the flight.
As Howard and I noted from our drive over Santiam and Willamette Passes several weeks ago, there is still lots of snow in the Oregon mountains . . . as further substantiated by Weathercarrot's photos.

Photo from my last day of seasonal work for the 2023 season, back in Nov. I’m craving those cold, wet days outside now that I’m working in retail again!
