One-Liner Wednesday - Anticipation
“It feels like I have been waiting for today to come, forever!” Ritu Bhathal A little background… my brother and his family are coming over from Finland for a couple of days to stay with us, and I am beyond excited to see them all, but especially my nephews, who I haven’t met for four years. My youngest nephew wasn’t even one when I held him last… 🙏🏽💛🥰 For Linda’s #1LinerWeds

not sure why but sometimes i'll be thinking abt/watching something and just have a one-liner pop into my head. watching a YT documentary on Star Citizen called The War for Jumptown and thought to myself "i'll save you a seat in Valhalla." no idea where it comes from. genuinely confused as to why.

Timing -
Timing –
are you listening? Think of the timing before you say “but…” When starting your opinion, make sure you are being respectful of others’ opinions. Be mindful of this when you speak. Perfect Liberty 2022.14

One Liner Wednesday - May 4, 2022
One Liner Wednesday – May 4, 2022
This is a quote that I’ve found more than appropriate over the past six or so years, but even more so this year: “I can calculate the motion of heavenly bodies, but not the madness of people.” – Isaac Newton

i saw someone saying that wednesday (the series) is cringey because “there are too many one-liners” and i’m like… have you seen the iconic addams family films. half of the dialogue is one-liners

oh so wednesday isn't just a little bit 'be critical of what you're watching' problematic
wednesday netflix is fully 'two out of three of our black characters are literal pilgrim cosplayers' problematic

The writers strike means Netflix won't have a new series with an alternative character that's gonna become just a trend for a while and I think that's beautiful

One liner Wednesday - Confucius
One liner Wednesday – Confucius
One of the sayings of Confucius that I learned in Japanese martial arts was that – ” It does not matter how slow you go, as long as you do not stop” It’s useful for a student to understand that sometimes slowing a process is important to understanding it. But also that speeding through your life is not of any particular value; take time to understand and appreciate the scenery.
