Top 8 atrocities committed by Obidients on Twitter/X against Omo Oodua
Tumblr media
by Aare Kurunmi Kakanfo On Twitter/X 1) On this app, Ooni of Ife was called "horny of Ife" by Obidients. 2) This year MKO Abiola was called a drug Baron by the Obidients. 3) Wole Soyinka was called a certificate forger by Obidients mostly of Southeast extraction. 4) Obidients organized Twitter spaces to say they would expel Yorùbá Obas and leaders once they captured Lagos. 5) Yorùbá women and Yorùbá history were slandered and published by Obidients. 6) Obidients were protesting for a military takeover of Nigeria because Tinubu a Yorùbá man won the presidency. 7) Obidients celebrated the annulment of the June 12 1993 elections and praised IBB and Abacha for the annulment. 8) Obidients called Lagos no man's land and openly called for the expulsion of Yorùbás from Lagos. While this happened, the Yoruba liberals and the fencists did not say anything. They didn't caution those who were attacking their race and identity. Immediately Yorùbá people started pushing back against the hate, they started coming out of their shells to accuse their own people of hate and asking their own people to tolerate hate and denigration from the Igbos and the ethnic minorities rubbishing the Yorùbá heritage. I have a simple response to this, this category of Yorubas is the definition of evil. The ethnic nation that ever bombed Lagos in Nigeria was the Igbos during the Biafran War. The ethnic nation that militarily invaded YORUBALAND in post-colonial Nigeria was the Igbos in Ondo state. Azikwe the leader of the modern Igbo nation was the one who connived with the British to ensure that the Lagos colony was not allowed to be part of the western region under Awolowo because of his Igbo supremacist agenda. The only ethnic group in the history of Nigeria that has always tried to hijack political power in Yorubaland are the Igbos, not Fulanis or Hausas when Zik wanted to become the prime minister of Oodualand (YORUBALAND). The lust for the political power of Igbos in YORUBALAND was why Azikwe, Ironsi, and Nwabueze destroyed the regional system of government, true federalism, and fiscal federalism and imposed the Unitary system of government on everybody. The agenda to turn Nigeria into an Igbo empire was why Azikwe was against true federalism and secession clauses in Nigeria's constitution. This behaviour led Nigeria to a bloody civil war. Till today, young Igbos who ought to learn from the mistakes of their parents are towing the same line. They are asking for political power in Niger state, and they are busy spreading toxic propaganda against Lagos state political leaders because they feel it is their right to hijack political power in Lagos over the Yoruba people, the same people they hate. A Zikist Igbo cannot practice true federalism in Nigeria. He cannot practice ethno-linguistic federalism because he will always be at the neck of other Ethnicities in their respective states looking for how to politically sabotage the indigenous people. They have no shame or dignity. How does it sound that a Yoruba man is threatening Igbo leaders for political power in Anambra? Igbos are settling everywhere across Nigeria because they need Nigeria to survive and push your settler colonialism and political Zionist project where they will start demanding political power from the Indigenous people. After all, they cannot survive and build their power base in the South East. They've given up on the Southeast. This is why any form of liberal madnesszzz must be expunged from the Southwest. Ondo: Owo Catholic Church Attack Is A Declaration Of War On Yoruba People — Akintoye Says Leader of the apex body for Yoruba self-determination and self-preservation movement, Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, Professor Banji Akintoye has condemned and described the Sinday terrorist attack on St Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo-State as a declaration of war on Yoruba people. In a statement issued by Akintoye through the secretary of the group, Maxwell Adeleye, said it is time to gain independence from Nigeria, noting that the attack means declaration of war on Yoruba land. The historian called on the state governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and other governors in the southwest region to declare an emergency against the activities of Fulani herdsmen in the state. The statement read, "We have stated it very expressly that the Yoruba people need to negotiate their exit from Nigeria as a matter of urgency but our partisan political actors in Yoruba land never took us seriously. We warned them that there was fire on the mountain but we were mocked because of their personal aggrandizement. "Today, we have all been encircled, most especially, in Lagos. For herdsmen to have the effrontery of bombarding a church in Yoruba land to kill about 85 people shows that we are now in a realistic danger....... It is 10,065th of the Yoruba Calendar (Kojoda, which means "May The Day Be Foreseen"). The New Year begins on June 3rd (Okodu 3) of the Gregorian Calendar.
Tumblr media
This means, 10,065th year of recorded Yoruba history since the establishment of the calendar according to Scholars by Orunmila. However we used to have 4 days/week, but later reconciled it with the Gregorian calendar 7days/week (Note). Before the western Gregorian calendar, Yorubas used a lunar calendar. The Yoruba year begins June 3 of this year to June 2nd the following year. The traditional calendar had a 4 day week, 7 week month, and 12 month year. The Yoruba calendar (Kojoda) has a year beginning on the last moon of May or first moon of June of the Gregorian calendar, and an era of 8042 BC. The new year coincides with the Ifá festival. It started about 10,065th years ago, when Ife-Oodaye was populated by the Orishas. It was the work of Orunmila and Obatala. The traditional Yoruba week has four days. The four days that are dedicated to the Orisa go as follow: Day 1 is dedicated to Obatala (Sopanna, Iyaami, and the Egungun) Day 2 is dedicated to Orunmila (Esu, Ifá and Osun). Day 3 is dedicated to Ogun (Osoosi). Day 4 is dedicated to Sango (Oya) To reconcile with the Gregorian calendar, Yoruba people also measure time in seven days a week and four weeks a month. The four-day calendar was dedicated to the Orisas and the seven-day calendar is for doing business. The seven days are: Ojo-Aiku (Sunday), Ojo-Aje (Monday), Ojo-Ishegun (Tuesday), Ojo-Riru (Wednesday), Ojo-Bo/Alamisi (Thursday), Ojo-Eti (Friday) and Ojo-Abameta (Saturday). Oṡu in Yoruba calendar. Professor Wole Soyinka storms Benin Republic met Sunday Igboho Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka has met with Yoruba Nation campaigner, Sunday Adeyemo also known as Sunday Ighoho, The PUNCH reports. Also at the meeting include Yoruba Nation arrowhead and leader of the Umbrella body of Yoruba Self-determination Groups, Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, Banji Akintoye. Our correspondent learnt that the meeting took place on Sunday in neighbouring Benin Republic where Igboho is being restricted to after his bail on medical ground. The details of the Sunday meeting were, however, sketchy as of press time. Akintoye had on March 7, 2022, announced the release of Ighoho in the neighbouring Francophone country. Declared wanted by the Department of State Services for allegedly stockpiling arms to destabilise Nigeria, an allegation he denied, Igboho had fled his Ibadan residence and escaped to Benin Republic in July 2021. Luck ran out on him and he was arrested by the Interpol at a Benin airport on July 19, 2021 when he tried to board a Germany-bound flight. He was, however, released on health grounds after about nine months in a detention facility in the neighbouring Francophone West African country. Igboho’s Lead Counsel, Yomi Aliyyu, had ruled out the possibility of his client’s return to Nigeria anytime soon. #wolesoyinka #sundayigboho #beninrepublic #mycelebrityandi #activist https://www.instagram.com/p/CdDewCZrCyX/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
