oliver watched from the wedding party table as you danced around the dance floor with the flower girl. everyone else was still talking and eating, but your little niece walked up to your table and asked to dance with you, and you couldn't say no.

you looked up from your niece and over at oliver, and smiled, "come dance with me." you waved him over.

"us." your niece interrupted with a pout on his face.

"right, sorry, come dance with us." you corrected.

he pushed his chair out and joined you on the dance floor. he grabbed your little niece's hand, and picked her up, spinning around in a circle.

she giggled, wrapping her arms tighter around his neck. you saw a few people look up from their tables, and smile, whipping out their phones to record the sweet moment.

he looked back over to you and beamed happily, wrapping his arm around your waist and you joined in their swaying.

your brother came up and grabbed his daughter from between oliver and you, “come on, honey.”

“but we’re not done dancing.” she pouted.

“we’ll dance with you later.”

“promise?”

“promise.” you nodded.

“okay.” oliver handed her off to your brother, then wrapped his arms back around you, swaying to the music softly playing.

you looked out and noticed practically everyone’s eyes were on you, a smile on their faces, “everyone’s staring.” you whispered.

“this is our wedding.” he reminded you.

“i know, i just don’t think i’m used to it.” you smiled.

“well get used to it. you’re now married to a public figure, all eyes are now on you.” he joked.
