also, in totk there’s very few mentions of the champions and calamity ganon, and a lot of the stuff from botw seems to have been retconned, like the sheikah technology etc. i feel like that would be such a bittersweet world for post-calamity link to be living in 😭

It's one of my main issues with TotK, to be honest. I think Majora's Mask was able to get away with being a sequel because they took Link literally out of Hyrule, leaving the previous story intact. TotK, because it wanted to take place in that same Hyrule without leaning too heavily on BotW, ended up practically dismantling the old story instead. I think there are many ways they could have paid respectful homage to BotW without the new game completely revolving around it, and retconning/ignoring so much kinda defeats the purpose of it being a sequel at all in my mind? But yes, I do think it would be bittersweet for him 😭

I would ask how Boba knew Luke was a moisture farmer, but I then remembered that comic where he was hired by Darth Vader to hunt for Luke (or at least find any info about the guy who blew up the Death Star), so he would at least learn the small stuff about Luke from the Tatooine locals. Btw, did you know that Boba would have been Luke’s uncle (Star Wars has always been about the Skywalker family) in the OT

Oh my god, I never knew Boba was almost Lukes uncle! That's so cool!

So, in my mind (for this story specifically) in between chapter 6 and 7 Luke has stayed at the palace for like 3 weeks to a month just to watch over Din’s recovery and also give Grogu some time with his dad. And while Din’s healing or just bonding with his son, Luke and Boba (and probably Fennec too) are off sparring and gossiping about Han. Or complaining about Tatooine life or Darth Vader stuff. They just have so many shared relationships and experiences. I imagine they’d form a very unlikely friendship. One where they greet each other with insults in a loving way. 

Now that... that would be an awesome comic.
