Favorite thing about them: HIS SELFISHNESS. It's so so delicious to explore. Can you imagine a protagonist that saves others not out of simple good will, but because of egoistic self-preservation motives? It just feels counterintuitive for me lmao, and I found it quite messed up when I first watched the anime, but now it's so compelling to explore. His whole “everything I do is in order to gain the right to live” is crazy fashinating. Because lol, that's entirely nonsensical to me! There's no such thing as “gaining the right to live”; all humans, every person in the world is inherently deserving of life. All. No exception. So there's no level of “weak” or “worthless” that would make you lose that right. The fact that's it's a vision so distant and absurd from mine, idk, it just makes it very compelling to explore? “What if there was a little fucked up guy who believed the right to live had to be earned” just sounds like a very interesting premise.

Least favorite thing about them: When I first watched the anime, I think I found him low-key annoying? I just... Don't do very well with self-deprecating people and people who complain a lot in general, I usually suffer in silence and tend to (wrongly) assume others should do the same (this probably makes me sound pretty mean, I swear I try to be understanding irl). However, it doesn't bother me as much anymore, I simply think it's more of a distinctive trait of the character that makes him multilayered and unique. As of now, I can't think of anything I don't like about him if not the fact that I wish he'd rely on Dazai and others in general a little less. I know that has to do with his lack of self-worth, so maybe it makes sense,, but as of now he feels kind of stuck. I just wish we'd see him grow more on that front.

Favorite line:

There may be better ones, but I really like the delivery of this one.

brOTP: KYOUKA AND ATSUSHI they make me go insane. Already talked about this in the Kyouka post but just to reiterate: in my headcanon Kyouka really is the only person Atsushi feels genuine, selfless affection towards. It's very sweet. They're siblings. Kyouka's happiness is really important for Atsushi. They really do have that feeling of people who got out of an abusive environment learning what normality is supposed to be like together. I also really like how they compensate for what the other lacks, be it decisiveness and coolhead for Atsushi and empathy and positivity for Kyouka. Although plenty shipping them romantically, I really like platonic sskk and atsulucy as well.

OTP: I really like sskk eheh. I think they're neat. There's a thousand and one reasons why I find them pretty great. They're objectively the only reason why I got invested in bsd as well as the only thing that has me keep up with the franchise to this day. Right now, I feel like the one thing I really appreciate about them is how you can be the worst person in the universe and still somehow be loveable to someone. I think it's sweet. I also find it very fun and enterataining to explore their various soulmatism antics. They're both very complex and multilayered characters with something deeply wrong with how their minds work that makes them very fun to analyze both by their own and in the complexity of their relationship. Their collective story arc and canon relationship progression is extremely engaging and nice to follow, too. I love dazatsu and atsulucy as well!! Both were ships I wasn't particularly invested when I read the manga for the first time, but really grew in me in the last six months or so. I really dig akuatsulucy as well!!

nOTP: Nothing?

Random headcanon: He really likes reading. There's some real meta-analysis to be made here I actually had written this is probably not the right place to talk about, but in a work that's all about literature, he's the character who reads.

Unpopular opinion: He's the hardest character to write / characterize. That's why people should probably go easier on other fans when they mischaracterize him. He's just very multifaceted and genuinely hard to get. I keep seeing people being like “Stop babyfying Atsushi he's an independent adult!!” then turn around to say “he can't be shipped with Dazai because there's too much unbalance of power :// [somewhat implying Atsushi can't make free decisions for himself]”, or “Stop making of Atsushi a soft baby who never did wrong in his life!!!” then turn around to say “Atsushi is the happy puppy of the agency who gets treats and pats from everyone ^^ ” like. At least to me, a lot of people's arguments sound self-contradictory all the time; but that doesn't mean people should stop having fun and characterize the characters as they like! Just, let's stop being mean to each other and try to be a little more accepting towards others' takes, shall we? And yes that also includes letting people find Atsushi annoying if they find him annoying (although like, I've NEVER found anyone call Atsushi annoying ever, so really, what remote fandom spaces is everyone visiting? Why are you looking for clothes (good takes) at the soup store (Tik/tok I assume?) ).

To lighten up the mood a lil, I have been following the delusional Shakira/Lewis rumors for a while and every week there's a new twist introduced by Spanish media 😭 They tried desperately to make it happen after Barcelona but as expected both went their separate ways immediately after the race. She flew to Colombia and he to NYC. Things slowed down a little. Then came Silverstone. Spanish and British journalists were salivating at finally discovering a goldmine to feed their family for months but to their utter disappointment Lewis flew to Ibiza for minibreak when she was in London. Shakira was spotted with Jimmy, someone she actually had private dinners with according to Deuxmoi, so now according to Spanish press, Lewis and Shakira are in an open relationship. Then radio silence from Lewis leads to the story that he in fact dislikes her and barred her from entering Merc facilities 😭 However Lewis then likes an ig photo of her kids a month later, what does Spanish media do? Invent fake Ibiza sightings for the week that Shakira was in London attending Wimbledon and Vogue parties and Lewis was in Ibiza. Lewis himself was photographed filming INEOs commercial in uk at the end of the same week but they were apparently teleporting to Ibiza. Finally Summer break, by this point they have already spent months theorizing that Lewis will be vacationing in Caribbeans with her.So what happens? You know it already, NOTHING. Lewis has fun in the studio with friends, picks up Roscoe, leaves for Colorado the before she returns to LA. So they try to get a "oh they were probably in the same studio" theory going but those don't catch on and now we have a Dominican psychic claiming that they've actual split because Lewis demanded a child. Mind you all of this has happened in THREE (3) months and these two have never once met outside of three post-race events 😭 They're making Larry shippers look sane 😭

What ship were you completely obsessed with when you were a teenager, but now you don't care about anymore?

Okay so this whole tag game is gonna be interesting, bc i'm not actually that much of a shipper. I don't really care about shipping for the shipping itself, if that makes sense. I care about the characters and their dynamic, and ships can be interesting for what the characters may or may not bring to each other. Anyway, that was all meant to preface that I don't remember if I really strongly shipped anything when I was a teenager... At the very least I don't think there's one I don't care about anymore. Most of the things I shipped as a teen would have been tolkien ships, and I still carry a great fondness for those even if I'm not an active creator in that fandom atm.

2. Which ship would you consider your first one?

As said above, likely something Tolkien-related?? Maybe Glorestor? I remember reading fics about them but I don't remember actively shipping them. Perhaps Finarfin/Eärwen, that is the earliest ship I remember caring about in a way that I might consider shippy??

3. Your first fanfic was about which couple?

Neither the first fanfic I ever attempted to write (sth about Legolas that I wrote with pen on paper when I was like 10) nor the first serious unfinished attempt (about Thranduil taking up the crown in the aftermath of his father's death) nor the first one I ever published (The Last Son, a character study about Finarfin) are about couples at all... My first one that is about a couple though is Broken, about Turgon and Elenwë, but that is not 'shippy' at all.

4. Do you remember the first couple you saw fanart of?

In Tolkien fandom circles, that will probably have been sth like Gigolas or maybe Glorestor, but I don't remember. The first I have active memory of is Angbang :D

5. Have you ever gotten into ship discourse?

No. I try to stay far away from that...

6. Did you use to have any NOTP or have one currently?

Maybe? There's definitely ships I don't care about, even ones that the rest of the fandom is all about, but there's very few ships I actively avoid. The only thing I actively filter out of my AO3 searches atm is anything that ships Ye Zun and Shen Wei together. That's just not for me... But that is what we have the exclude tags button for, so others can enjoy what they enjoy and you can too :) I also avoid the Pingxie tag like the plague, bc I've seen one too many people in the fandom have bad opinions, but I wouldn't call them a NOTP. It's more a 'missing a third party (namely Pangzi)' kinda deal for me xD

7. Who were the couple in the last fanfic you read?

My mind immediately went to Weilan, but then I remembered that actually it's Zhubai <3 Both are a very likely answer to this question at any given moment.

8. Currently, do you have any OTPs?

See above! Weilan for sure, and definitely also Zhubai (and the extended polycule in the whole of and i will make a silence for you, for which I am eternally grateful to mumble and Sam) <333

9. Is there any couple that, to this day, you are extremely mad about not getting together?

No. As I said before, I'm not really a shipper. I don't consume media in that way. The story is the story, I don't see a reason to get mad about it. If you're unhappy with canon, you throw it in the trash and start writing AU fanfiction. It's not that deep.

10. Is there any ship you used to dislike but now you think they are kind of interesting?

Nah.

11. Do you have any ship that, in the past, would've been considered normal but now you would be cancelled over?

Idk, I suppose some people these days would cancel me over my RPF ships? I've also read a lot of Tolkien fanfic back in the day with ships that the modern purity-police would probably like to put me on a stake over (Celegorm/Curufin(/Finrod), maybe Silverfisting (when we still had the collective guts to call it that) and such.) Look, I was there for all the Yuri On Ice ship wars (that I didn't participate in, mind you), don't @ me with your anti bullshit. Fiction is fiction. Reality is reality. Go touch some grass.

12. What is your favorite crack ship?

I don't think I have one. Crack is not my fanfic genre.

13. What is the couple you read the most fanfics about?

Weilan probably ranks high by now, as does Zhubai. I've read a lot of Silverfisting and Curufin/Finrod in my day. I've read everything that was in the Finarfin/Eärwen tag up until a couple years ago, but that is a rarepair (even though it's canon... that's what you get when your OTP are only mentioned by name 3 times in the whole entire book). Xiyao and Nielan and 3zun are probably high on the list as well. I don't know who wins it, bc I only started keeping track of my reading habits with bookmarks in the past couple years so I have almost no data about the amount of fic I read before my Guardian days.

14. What do most of your ships usually have in common?

Uuhm, often there's something potentially fucked up about the dynamic. Some friction. A certain level of codependency or otherwise unhealthy attachment is interesting to me (how do they work through that? can they?). Most important though is just the deep affection they have for each other. I'm really big on like, choice and consent and free will. When characters could've chosen to part, and it might have even been easier for them to try and let go, but they decide the pain is worth it and they want to work on themselves and the relationship to make it work? When they love each other so much it dwarfs all else, but they still make the active choice to be vulnerable and share that love? That's my jam :)

15. What you absolutely hate in a ship?

Why do we have to end on a negative :(((( hhhm, okay i guess the lack of the above. I hate the soulmate trope with a passion, because so often it erases the element of choice from a relationship. "These characters were meant to be together" okay that's cute but do they want to be? I dislike it when a ship is written in such a way (either by the canon author or by fans) that it takes away the agency from the characters. I'm all for characters living for each other, but there must be meaning behind it. It can't just be fate. It has to be choice. For that matter, when a fandom collectively decides one ship is the way to go and all else is wrong and sucks, that is when I jump ship, because that ship is sinking.

"Ugh, I swear Miguel, I'm trying to send in the gc pics of Mayday and I can't get in HQ's wifi!" He deadpanned, waving his phone around at Miguel who stared at the screen that hovered around him.

His eyelids were heavy as he tried to ignore Peters complaints that only went through his head and he only grumbled, shoulders dipping.

Peter rolled his eyes, realizing annoying Miguel wouldn't work. He'd ask someone but it was just him and Miguel.

"Why are you so quiet about the wifi anyways? What? Is it I love Peter B Parker?" He said with a playful smile, amused. Silence took the room again and he sighed.

His mind urging him to, he decided to type it in.

Oh, shit.

Peters eyes lit up as he watched his phone be connected to HQ's wifi and he and Miguel were quiet. The silence was clear and awkward. Realization was both setting in their minds and Peters lips was pressed into a thin line.

Peter let's in a sharp inhale and starts to turn. "No, Peter-"

Miguel's shoulder slumped, watching the rain pours. The exhaustion on his face was evident. He was weary after this day and he wanted to get back to his apartment and flop on the bed in preparation for the next day.

The rain was only adding to his stress and he grumbled, realizing he had to wait out. He could sling back to his apartment, of course, but he didn't want to arrive damp and wet anyways.

Peter went up to the entrance and saw Miguel. "Hey, Migs, why aren't you home yet?" He asks, noticing his sunken eyes.

"Rain." He said with an exasperated tone. Peter moved his eyes to the rain and shifted his lips.

Peter ran back inside and managed to get the umbrella and flashed it to Miguel. "Here."

Miguel narrowed his eyes, in disbelief. "How did you--"

"Borrowed it from therapy spider." He shrugged and Miguel hesitantly took it. He unfurled the umbrella and he glanced at Peter.

"Don't you have to get back to your universe?"

"If you want me to come it's fine, Maydays still asleep." Peter smiled warmly and Miguel smiled back, feeling Peters enthusiasm shine on him.

"Sure..."

Character ask: Orpheus and Eurydice

This is a good ask for me! My college senior thesis was a comparison of Monteverdi and Gluck's operas based on the Orpheus myth!

Don't expect any comments on Hadestown here, though – I'm not familiar with that musical at all.

Orpheus

Favorite thing about them: His love for Eurydice. A love so strong that he's willing to journey to the Underworld to bring her back, and almost succeeds, except for his act of "too much love" when he looks back at her. The fantasy of being loved that way is hard to resist!

Least favorite thing about them: His misogyny after coming back from the Underworld in some versions of the myth. I don't mind versions where he just avoids women out of faithfulness to Eurydice's memory, but it's all too common to portray him as coming to hate women, either because they all seem so inferior to Eurydice, or because they remind him too much of her, or because he blames Eurydice's feminine charms for causing his misery. And Ovid's claim that in his rejection of women, he became the first man ever to sleep with young boys? Ugh. Just ugh.

Three things I have in common with them:

*I adore music.

*I'm very loving and passionate.

*I can be impulsive.

Three things I don't have in common with them:

*I'm not semi-divine.

*I'm not married.

*I'm female.

Favorite line: His song in Ovid's version of the myth, where he pleads with Hades and Persephone:

nOTP: Hades, Persephone, his mother Calliope, or any of the Maenad women who tore him limb-from-limb.

Random headcanon: His father was the Thracian king Oeagrus. Or to be exact, I prefer the version of the myth where Oeagrus is his father to the version where Apollo is his father. It's generally agreed that his mother is the muse Calliope. So if his parents are a god and goddess, why is he a mortal? Doesn't it stand to reason that he should have one mortal parent?

Unpopular opinion: I get slightly tired of seeing people quote Portrait of a Lady on Fire to explain why he looks back at Eurydice, claiming that he makes "the poet's choice" (i.e. that he chooses his idealized memory of Eurydice, which he can fully possess and which can inspire his art forever, rather than face an uncertain future with a living woman). That's a fascinating interpretation of his backward glance, but it's not the "true" meaning of the myth. There is no single "true" meaning. Different retellings have interpreted his backward glance as excessive passion and a lack of self-control, or as a fatal lack of faith in either Hades, Eurydice, or himself, or as an act of concern for Eurydice which shows that Hades' command was inhumane, or as a commentary on the nature of grief (i.e. that we can't help but look back at our memories), or simply as inevitable because death can't be reversed. All of those interpretations, and others too, are just as valid as "the poet's choice." That's part of the beauty of mythology: it has so many possible meanings.

Eurydice

Favorite thing about them: A woman who inspires a love that almost conquers death itself is a fascinating character, and I enjoy seeing the different ways she's characterized in different retellings of the myth and other works inspired by it. When the same mythical figure loosely inspires such different characters as innocent, girlish Pamina in The Magic Flute and seductive, jaded Satine in Moulin Rouge!, then you know (a) that she's not the most fleshed-out character, but (b) that her very "flatness" makes her a wellspring of creative ideas for authors and artists who retell the story.

Least favorite thing about them: She's not very likable in Gluck's opera Orfeo ed Euridice, where she doesn't know that Orpheus can't look back at her, assumes he must not love her anymore, and hounds him into finally looking back. I'm glad that only happens in one adaptation and she isn't always like that.

Three things I have in common with them:

*I'm loving and affectionate.

*I find good singers very attractive.

*I enjoy walking in nature (preferably with no snakes in the grass).

Three things I don't have in common with them:

Random headcanon: When Orpheus was killed and his spirit went to the Elysian Fields, the judges in the Underworld debated whether Eurydice should join him there or stay in the Asphodel Meadows with the other ordinary, non-heroic souls. Ultimately, they chose to send her to Elysium, both because it would have been too cruel to Orpheus not to reunite them, and because after Eurydice's second chance to live was snatched away from her, she deserved to at least spend her afterlife in paradise.

Unpopular opinion: I'd like to see at least one retelling of the myth that portrays the legendary philosopher-poet Musaeus of Athens as Orpheus's son (as one Greek historian claimed he was, though others disagreed), and portrayed Eurydice as his mother. Giving them a child could add even more weight to the tragedy.

What made you pick up the current muse(s) you have? He's one of my absolute fave League champions. There were hardly any out there and I dipped by finger in that sanguine pool for a moment and got pulled in instantly. To me he has a ton of potential to be fleshed out, that I hope to put down in writing. Riot seems to forget the 'unpolished' gem they have created at times. Especially since he seems to always end up as a joke to people in the community and even the playerbase, and easily gets ignored that way. Or at least in my experiences. The amount of times I've heard jokes like 'discount-ripoff-Lestat/Dracula/vampire/-clown are too.fucking.many...

Is there anything you don’t like to write? Slice of life stuff... I just don't get any motivation to keep anything going in that genre. The same goes for modern verses? I just don't get inspiration for anything on my muses for this either. And not even because I dislike them or anything, it just doesn't mesh with my brain.

Is there anything you really enjoy writing? A n g s t It comes naturally to me, with little effort. And considering how swamped my schedule is, this is a blessing. Though I am not that fuzzed about what genre I'm writing in. I enjoy most things, as long as there is something that moves forward. Development and something to work with to continue that pace and progression are absolutely <3

How do you come up with headcanons? Inspiration from other sources Trying to look behind the basic lore and colour stories, but also look at any potential related characters or other sources and see if anything meshes with Vlad. Like, besides his own lore, I also looked at Noxian lore, Camavoran lore, Viego/Kalista/Hecarim, the Blessed Isles, Ruination, the Darkin and so on.

Do you write in silence or do you play music? I write mostly with something playing in the background. This could be any relatable music to my muses. Or just any of my playlists. A Youtube series I'm watching/listening to. While at work I tend to write down keywords if something comes to mind, and then at home I'll see what comes out of it. (if I remember that I wrote something down)

Do you plan your replies or wing them? I wing them, 99%, mostly. I don't really enjoy planning out every step of muses interactions and relationships. And besides, Vlad is not one to let his life and actions be dictated as easily. He does as he pleases and so too do I write him.

Do you enjoy shipping? I am a shipping whore, but I am very passive in seeking anything in this regard due to really bad experiences where I got accusted of only seeking out interactions for ships, just because I like some characters together. Like, my absolute otp is VladVayne, but I never interacted with any Vayne for the shipping reason. I enjoy their antagonistic dynamic potential a lot too, but yeah stuff happened and now I just tend to not bother to seek interactions. It's a good thing Vlad is not an easy character to ship with, so that saves me a lot of issues as well in this regard.

Only one chapter is up. This is just a collection of 4 short fics that are set in post-canon of Radio Silence. They're based on the prompts from the February Friday Event. 2 of the 3 remaining chapters are partially written, but not finished. One will be about Carys and her thoughts on Universe City. The other is about friendship, but Carys and Aled are once again reminded by how badly their childhood was for them.

Ljubili se - Glee

MY BABY. This is the sequel to Ljubim te, the fic where Kurt and Blaine meet in Ljubljana. Now they're back in America and long-distance, with Blaine being in LA and Kurt in NY. My main reason for being stuck is admittedly that it's getting too ambitious and I need to figure out how to tell a coherent sequel. It's quite difficult, because Ljubim te was written without a sequel in mind and without much space to do more, but I love this world I made so here I am anyway.

Dancin' on that bamboo ceiling - Glee

A series of standalone fic that explore Asian identity and casual racism in glee. I've been working on and off on it for years and I have published some. But I really want to finish more. Right now I have a story about traditional dress and feeling removed from your heritage in my mind.

The Sarah Jane Adventures Extended Universe (SJAEU) - The Sarah Jane Adventures

Yes, my SJAEU is back on my mind. It's a spin-off of the Sarah Jane Adventures (which is in itself a Doccy Whomst spin-off) and it focuses on Luke after he left Bannerman Road and well, my unofficial title is Luke's Big Gay Oxford Adventures. The thing I posted is an overview of the AU, but I have been cooking up actual fics that are set in this AU since 2017 and they're simmering again.

Untitled TOTK-inspired Snowbaz fic - Carry On

This was marinating in my brain recently. Not sure I will get back to it soon, but hey, it's on my mind! As the "title" suggests, it's a Tears of the Kingdom inspired Snowbaz fic, which takes place after Wayward Son. The gang is back from America to find floating islands in the sky of the World of Mages. 7 years after their return, and 7 years after Simon went missing, Baz decides to find a way to the sky islands in order to find Simon. I don't wanna brag, but this idea slaps and I should get back to it.

Glee x Sense8 crossover idea - Glee and Sense8

I came up with a Glee x Sense8 crossover years ago and this is also back again on my mind. Just like the SJAEU, it's more of a concept with some overall thoughts than an actual coherent fic. It's back in my 2024 vision because, hey, I posted the SJAEU, I could possible post my Glee x Sense8 AU on AO3, because I think it's pretty cool. And yes, it's a crossover, not an inspired by thing. The Glee part is entirely an AU, but the Sense8 part is post-canon where the BPO has reformed, so that the sensates can figure out their shit in peace. And also, Puck from Sense8 will show up at one point. Two Pucks in one fic (because Puck from Glee is one of the sensates).

Anyway I have many more WIPs, like the Zimbits time travel one, or the Glee x Carry On crossover (begone Klaine and Snowbaz, Blaz OTP!) and UGH so many WIPs. If you wanna send me an ask about any of these WIPs, feel free.

What would they do if the other woke in a manic state after a nightmare? omg... don't hurt/comfort me.,., OHHH NOOOOOOOOOO.,., so in my fics medic is gradually worrying more and more about how sniper is becoming less of a coworker/successful experiment and more of an.,,. object of affection... and i think it's important to medic that no matter how close he gets with someone, it's important that his Clinical Thoughts doesn't get mixed with his Emotional Thoughts and unfortunately sniper is in fact a delicious mixture of the two :(... HEHE.. but i think once they start dating and going to bed together, sniper's always the first to fall asleep. being cuddled up to medic just makes him so sleepy hehe!! but with sniper, medic has a hard time "leaving work at the office"., so once sniper's asleep he'll sometimes (carefully, quietly) check his vitals as discreetly as he can (ones he can without any equipment of course), specifically checking in on his heart. it's more about The Ritual of doing so than anything else (like "oh shit did i leave the oven on? better go double check" type of thing) except, you know, it's sniper's life. so medic will listen to sniper's heart and tell himself it's fine, he's fine, go to bed. but sometimes if he falls asleep worrying about it, he'll SWEAR he heard sniper's heart stop and jolt awake and press his ear to sniper's chest... only to hear the reliable thump thump thump... whew okay see! nothing to worry about! i don't think sniper has nightmares very often so i can see medic's Hyperactive Mind/Weird Sleeping Schedule making him more prone to them. when he gasps and jolts awake sniper instantly wakes up and is like "y'okay, pidge? sorry, did i squish you?" (even though it would be impossible for sniper to squish medic imo LOL) and medic takes a deep breath in through his nose and is like "no, aheh, i'm sorry my heart, i must have had a dream!" and pulls sniper close to him and sniper curls around him and is like "sleep, dovey." (said like a groggy "order") and medic nestles against him and is like "ja, ja, alright, alright,.," but his eyes open again and he presses his palm to sniper's skin... alright it's not too cold, not deathly cold like it was when it was fished out of that ocean water in new zealand and dumped in the morgue and- 14. How do their personalities compliment each other? How do they clash? OOHHH FUN ONE... i think they're a very fun ship because they can be written as Clashy OR Complimentary... both of them are capable of tenderness though only reserved for Very Few people... both are capable killers who can be (read: Not Exclusively) cold and cunning.., a really interesting dynamic for them for me personally is sniper's professional code vs medic's complete lack thereof and how it affects not only them individually, but how they interact with each other.... i think they're both mutually respectful of it but it's definitely a fun thing to think about!! i've touched on that in one of my mini fics for bushmed week that i wrote last year! of course i think they compliment each other because i think sniper needs someone who is a bit more Outgoing than he is to really show him how to have fun (and in medic's case, make mischief!) and let loose!! HEHE... 51. What’s a non verbal way they say I love you? UWAA so many.., sniper leaving one of his shirts for medic to cuddle up to when sniper gets up early and medic stays asleep.. medic massaging sniper's (sore, but he'll never admit it) hands after a long day on the field... laying in silence together and focusing on the sounds of them being Alive Together (sniper likes listening to medic's breathing and medic likes listening to sniper's heart)... ;-;

What would they do if the other woke in a manic state after a nightmare? i hc that heavy has ptsd (and gets treatment from medic for it) and that he is actually quite the restless sleeper. he tries not to bother spy with it if he can, but spy is too receptive to just let heavy brush it off! spy is a night owl himself so he'll often lay in bed with heavy and rub his head or his back while he reads and heavy falls right to sleep! if heavy has a nightmare, spy is awake and right there, ready to comfort him. he asks if he wants to talk about it, or if he needs him to go and get medic. spy always makes sure there's a glass of water and a snack on the bedside table (i think they're both bed time/night time snackers! hehe) if heavy wants it, but usually he's just glad spy is there with him. he focuses on spy running his thumb over the shell of his ear and spy Volunteers to read to him (one of heavy's russian copies of his favorite books, but reads it in french; something heavy loves) and lets heavy cut in with anecdotes about translation and language while spy hums lovingly... <3 14. How do their personalities compliment each other? How do they clash? tbh i think they have very complimentary personalities. level-headed, rational, very calculated people. i have no clue where the "heavy is dumb" trope came from but i hate it soooo much. i think they're also on the same footing intellectually as well as street-smarts and mercenary capability. while their skillset is Very Opposite i'd say they're still mutually knowledgeable and very emotionally intelligent, too. spy's a little more thickheaded than heavy is, but i think spy needs someone who can cup his face and be like hey. listen and give him earnest advice when he needs it. which is often. because spy is the world's most grand supreme darling little girlfailure and i think heavy sees that but also respects spy enough to know it's more complicated than whatever "surface level reasons" spy has for doing what he does! 51. What’s a non verbal way they say I love you? ah! they love leaving each other notes. it's the linguists in them! spy leaves heavy little notes tied to sasha with a ribbon and heavy stashes notes in spy's disguise kit or in the book he knows he's going to pick up later that day. heavy thinks it's fun to "communicate like a spy does" and spy likes the cheekification of "communicating like a spy does"!! it's playful and very flirty for both of them and they often play games of trying to catch one another in the act of placing the notes!! HEHE.., they have yet to catch each other though!!! >:)

The Clone Wars drabble.

A/N: I'm not sure about the translation. If something is wrong, please don't kick me. This drabble is kind of my personal canon. No backstory, no sequel. Only calmness and one of my favorite otp (you should know them all:3)

Hurt/Comfort, AU, songfic (30 seconds to Mars – 100 suns).

Trigger Warnings: schizophrenia, anxiety.

Summary: After the mission to Umbara, Kix started having mental problems. He is haunted by hallucinations, the voices of the dead brothers in his head do not allow him to sleep peacefully. When Jesse finds out about this, he suggests that they leave everything and run away. Kix doesn't mind.

He was always attracted to Shili. Attracted with its clear sky, mountain ranges and dense forests. A native of Kamino rarely gets the chance to see something like this. Feel how soft grass tickles your bare feet. Something in his soul stirred once when he first saw how drops of dew were falling from small coniferous needles, when he heard how a mischievous river was running among the mountains. Even the locals greeted the clones with all their warmth and hospitality, provided them with shelter.

Jesse suggested they run away somewhere. Kix wasn't mistaken with the choice.

The night birds are screaming. The bonfire spews dozens of sparks with a crack. Slowly, the lights in the wooden houses are dying out, even the noisy youngsters go to bed for the night. The first stars twinkle. The village goes to bed.

The last lamp goes out. Quietly the fire is smoldering. The sound of water in the distance. The forest nearby looks as if a violent artist has filled it with black paint: it was no longer visible in it the individual outlines of trees and animals. Nothing but darkness.

Once upon a time, Kix would have been scared. After the mission to Umbara, he quickly developed a fear of the dark. But just as quickly, mental illness pushed it into the background. It no longer seemed to him that a giant iron centipede or something worse could break out of the darkness. The clone chuckled. At least something fell into place.

He sat like that, listening to the measured sound of the mountain river that flowed down the slope, for a couple of hours. The cup with the long-cooled caf leaned forward slightly in relaxed hands, the knees were tucked in, the fingers trembled slightly. Some kind of Mandalorian lullaby was coming out of his mouth quietly, almost inaudibly.

And complete silence in his head.

It's happened so often since he fell apart.

'𝘕𝘪 𝘶𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘰'𝘳 𝘯𝘢𝘢𝘴 –

A strong, heavy hand rests on his chest. Where the heart beats. The second one carefully removes the cup from Kix's gentle grip, setting it aside.

'𝘕𝘪 𝘶𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘰'𝘳 𝘯𝘢𝘢𝘴 –

𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘶𝘶𝘳 𝘳𝘢 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘦 𝘥𝘩𝘢.'

Kiss on the temple. Kix closes his eyes, fully surrendering to the feeling. Feeling calm, safe.

'𝘕𝘪 𝘶𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘰'𝘳 𝘯𝘢𝘢𝘴...--'

'𝘈 𝘵𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘦 𝘤𝘶𝘶𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘴.' Jesse continues, hugging the medic from behind.

They don't need a fire to keep warm.

Jesse pours the rest of the kaf onto the smoldering coals, they hiss menacingly. Darkness completely envelops them. The song comes to an end.

'How are you?' Jessie whispers, adjusting the blanket over Kix's shoulders.

'Stable' the former military doctor answers without hesitation.

Jesse clicks his tongue softly, rolls his eyes. He never liked this answer. Kix laughs.

'Do you want to enjoy a little more?' he asks, following Kix's gaze. Stars. He looked up at the stars again.

'No.'

'Shall we go to sleep then?'

Clone nodded.

As he left, Kix took another look at the valley. Small cozy houses in the distance, a forest that now looks more like a lot of black spots, mountains, paths... He Inhaled clean air.

There were no voices in his head.

Everything was okay.

v stood on the balcony in the hideout overlooking dogtown, she had just pulled out her tobacco and was getting ready to roll a cigarette for her and johnny when he decided to show up again.

they hadn't spoken since they met up with the president, since the to of them argued over his decision to allow songbird to supress him, even though v told them she could take it and demanded that he be left alone. v contemplated whether or not they should pick up the topic again and finished rolling their cigarette before putting it in her mouth to light it.

"ugh, finally." johnny said, facing the city below them as he leaned against the railing. she took the first drag and the calming sensation of nicotine entering their bloodstream washed over them.

v also leaned against the railing, her back towards the view. she knew she couldn't drop the topic, it kept lingering on her mind but there was a thought accompanying it, hovering over their heads like a guillotine. she truly did not want him to leave, not for long periods of time, not for good, not ever.

"gonk." johnny mumbled, unmoving safe for taking a drag from the cigarette, a movement in perfect unison with v. "so, self sacrifice is okay when you do it?" she retorted, she was annoyed but calm, the day had taken it's toll on her though that didn't mean she was gonna sleep tonight. "got nothing to lose. you could die." he glanced at her over his aviators now. v let out an annoyed grumble, he was right but so was she. he shouldn't have to suffer, especially not for some chick neither one of them knew or trusted. v stuck the cigarette between her lips, sucking on it every now and then while rolling another one. it ran out eventually and the filter started to burn so she spat it out onto the floor, stomping on it to put it out.

"she got a cure." johnny said after a few minutes of silence, v was now smoking the second cigarette and he turned to face her as he took off his sunglasses. she blew the smoke into the night air. "don't want it, if it means gettin' rid of you." she turned her head to meet his gaze. "i wouldn't wanna --"

"you truly do have brain damage." he interrupted her though it was no use, he knew what she was going to say and the feeling was mutual. "-- 'm killin' you, remember?" the two of them did not break eye contact, one more stubborn than the other. "nope, not you; the relic is." v argued as she took the last drag of the cigarette, stubbing it out on the railing next to her. "same thing." johnny threw his hands in the air in defeat. "no, saka made the relic - you saved my life."

Listen…. Farawyn is my Otp of otps BUT Eowyn/Glorfindel compels me nonetheless… if you ever were to finish it I hope you post it!

They're my OTP to end all OTPS too, and I feel like a bit of hypocrite sometimes for loving my little rarepair so much, but something about Eowyn/Glorfindel just scratches my brain the right way. It's the untapped potential of it: the elf/human romance, the meeting of like minds, the mutual understanding of the grief of war and the guilt/burden of living afterwards, the weight of being war heroes and yet feeling like they didn't do enough, the parallels between Gondolin and Rohan being sold out by men who were promised the daughter/niece of the king as their reward after stalking them for so long, and the parallel of Idril and Eowyn suffering in silence because their families don't see their suffering... *clenches fist*
