on one hand i get the whole “if a characters death upset you it succeeded in leaving an impact on you so its good” but also. counter argument. im sad

#OASNDASDHABDHA #yes this character lives in my head but a few more seasons with them wouldnt have hurt ........... #this is about owen tosh and ianto obviously. of course. who else #i appreciate we get big finish audios with them and i understand that as well but its just. its not the show #does that make sense #like i think a lot of the audios are Better than the show i do but like....its different #i would appreciate Both #i love the audios and the show itself for two entirely seperate reasons #but the thing is in the audios you just dont get.... i dont know ? #like the same experience u get watching these guys fuck around on tv #im sure u guys get it i am literally rambling!!!! but #i just wish torchwood had more seasons before they decided to kill off All Of Their Characters you know. #at least one more season between 1 and 2. at least #it just felt so fast #and then 4 episodes later ianto dies too like. #torchwood truly was just way too short of a show #and i love that the audios put space between it and lengthen it out a bit but still its not the same as an extra season you know. #ok its 1 in the morning and i have 2 go to a doctors appointment at 7am so. im going to be hope this ramble wasnt that incoherent #simon says #torchwood #EDIT like ok. the audios are a great place for individual characters to be explored and theyve done that brilliantly #but the show is a better medium for the team as a Whole to develop and better for world building #you know? ok. #ok im going to bed. #this is why u do not encourage me to think abt this show i will go on and on HBSBFDSYFBDS
