For Easter, I thought it would be fitting to rate the sea bunny! These little guys are REALLY little, they’re less than an inch long- Since they’re nudibranchs, which by definition have no bones or shells, these squishy little fellas get maximum chunk. Sea bunnies are super recognizable and adorable with their little “ears” and “fur” (both are actually sensory organs), high funk. Nudibranchs are slimy little guys, and sea bunnies in specific are actually super slimy and poisonous, so of course they have maximum gunk.
Overall Rating: 10/10
They’re so cute, like- they’re SO cute- LOOK AT THEMMM!!!
Sorry for disappearing for a while again! Happy Easter (for those who celebrate) and happy pastel bunny day for all those who don’t!
I personally just enjoy Easter for all of the cute pastels and bunnies everywhere haha

Found this guy, the Blue Glaucus - Glaucus atlanticus, on a beach walk and put him back in the ocean
The Blue Glaucus is this striking blue color because their snack of choice is large, venomous prey, such as the Portuguese man o' war and the blue button jelly. They store their prey's stinging cells in their bodies to later use against predators
Did you know there are thousands of described species of nudibranchs? That's more slugs than I'll ever be able to draw... so for now I'm sticking to ones that can be found in our local waters 🙂
This is Hypselodoris bennetti, a sea slug that can be found along the coasts of southeastern Australia. The red spots on their body are a warning signal to would-be predators 🙅
I'll have these at my table at Supanova Melbourne in April!
Hey yall!! Introducing one of my favorite pieces of the last few years, Sea Oddity: a repeating pattern of hand drawn and watercolor rendered jellyfish, horseshoe crabs, nudibranchs, and sea monkeys. (repeating watermark added just to be safe <3)
I uploaded it to Spoonflower last year as part of the assignment I made it for, and now it's publicly available to purchase on there as well as on my brand new Society6 shop! If you want a little sea critter print or some fabric to make a sea critter sewing project, this might be the perfect one!
nudibranch stamps 2, electric boogaloo !! there's more of em now!!
pt 1 + pt 3: x / x
making these is so fun!! ^_^ it's also really easy, so if any1 has suggestions of any ocean-themed stamps that they want me 2 make, let me know !! i love sea life and i love stamps
