All of nationality headcannons:

Mic: Half Japanese Half Italian

Edgeshot: Half Japanese Half Thai

Nighteye: Half Japanese Half Vietnamese

Miruko: Half Japanese Half Dominican

Mount Lady: Half Japanese Half Swedish

Present Mic, Edgeshot, and Nighteye are neurodivergent (ADHD, ADD, and Autistic respectively).

The Lurkers have a groupchat that was supposed to be for professional uses only, however it soon became so much more chaotic in a matter of minutes. People think Edgeshot, being the leader and all, created it, but it was actually Kamui (bless his heart by thinking it was gonna be professional). Edgeshot and Mount Lady quickly filled the chat with as much chaos as they could muster in 5 minutes.

Present Mic remembers every pro hero’s birthday, and you bet your ass he throws them the most spectacular birthday party ever (and by spectacular I mean the party fits what that hero is most comfortable with. If the hero in question doesn’t like huge elaborate parties, the party is more quiet and private. If the hero is a known party animal, then the room quickly becomes an elaborate house party)

Edgeshot and Ryukyuu know how to professionally throat sing. (Listen to “Genesis” by Otyken as a reference thats where I got this one lmao)

Fat Gum: Cis Male —He/Him (Straight Ally all the way! He’s the one parading everyone around at pride event, wearing pride merch and making food for everyone)

Ryukyuu: Trans Female — She/Her (Lesbian)

Nighteye can play the piano like a pro.

Present Mic loves playing the acoustic guitar. Hes THAT guy at a campfire.

While there is the obvious romatic relationships I adore (Erasermic, Edgejeanist, Nightmight, Kamui x Mount Lady, etc.), there are so many cute scenarios for platonic relationships

Eraserhead and Edgeshot being frenemies but caring for eachother so dearly.

Ok, possibly the weirdest one yet: Yoroi Musha (the elderly hero, former number 9 hero) is Edgeshot’s adopted dad. (I saw it in a fic once and fell in love with it).

- The story (in my head) goes that Edgeshot was born and raised in a cult in rural Japan, and then one day when they were like 10 the comune gets raided after a tip was given, and Yoroi Musha led the raid. His eyes fell into a young, malnourished, and terrified Edgeshot and was like “they’re my child now” (This is the super simplified version, and Im super intrested in writing this!)

All Might considers Gran Torino to be his father figure. As a result, Nighteye considered him to be his father in law. Gran Torino wishes he can deny this, but at this point he cannot.

Last but not least! Eri, once she gets comfortable enough, considers every pro hero to be her aunt/uncle/somewhere in between.

“Give me a break.” Aizawa rolled his eyes. “These kids already grow up thinking hero work is a popularity contest. Our whole job is to educate them out of that.” Toshinori was in the process of locating wise and sensible works of agreement when Mic retorted, “Spoken like a certain sour-faced someone who doesn’t have his own hit radio show.” “Hey.” Aizawa slurped more noodles, speaking with his mouth full. “You want to spend your whole life constantly playing to people and doing a bit, be my guest.” When he looked up from his udon, it was not to Mic, but to Toshinori. He wasn’t sure what he’d done to provoke that thrust—had the man invited him out just to needle him?—but Toshinori raised his eyebrows to meet it. “Oh, I don’t know. I don’t think I’ve ever known an underground pro who wasn’t also doing a bit, of one kind or another.” “Not me,” Aizawa said flatly. “You’re kidding,” Toshinori scoffed. He swiped a handful of his hair across his face, rounded his shoulders, and said, keeping his voice low and adding a slight rasp, “I don’t do bits because they’re not reasonable. Everything must be reasonable. I’m a scary hardass and if one of my kids puts a toenail out of line they’re finished, because I don’t secretly love all of them to pieces and coddle them like kittens. That’s not reasonable.” “Holy shit!” Present Mic howled. He bumped shoulders with Aizawa. “You brought this one on yourself, man.” Aizawa had folded his arms and was smiling tightly. For a moment Toshinori feared that he had really offended him, but then his face twisted and his shoulders shook with quiet laughter. “That wasn’t bad.”

i don't think we talk enough about how Tamaki and Mirio as a gay couple like they are the gay rep for UA like, those guys were shying around eachother in middle school, they hooked up their first and became public in second year and EVVEEEEERYBODY knows about Tamaki and Mirio dating. they got 2 or 3 years worth of anniversaries under their belts and that's just being out about it, they celebrate when they first became met/became friends. Nighteye turns thirty. The world turns upside down.

All Might undertook to make this a nice night, presiding very amiably over the birthday dinner, joking with their friends and with the waitstaff, retelling his best old stories. He toasted Nighteye as the finest sidekick in Japan, a companion in the struggle, a comfort in adversity, a comrade in victory. Gran Torino gave Mirai a sidelong glance: “Get a load of those hard c’s, kid.” But if the old hero was impervious to All Might’s charms, Nighteye found that he himself was still taken by them. There was something about All Might—this All Might, bluff and jovial, as though all the evils of the world were paper tigers—that made him want to sit closer and warm himself, the way one would nestle under a heated kotatsu table. Even knowing that his easy cheer was a pose, a pretense, he felt it, and he tried to let the comfort of it seep into his blood along with the expensive wine. At their dinner table, the spirit of the holiday season still reigned. Torino and Tsukauchi both got a little drunk and started a cutthroat game of jyan-ken-pon; All Might cheered Tsukauchi on with outsized enthusiasm. Nezu ought to have been inebriated as well, given the amount of wine he was consuming with his imported cheese, though you never could tell with him. He and Centipeder had not met before, but they took to each other immediately, as Nighteye had expected they would. “Don’t human faces look outrageous when they sneeze?” Nezu asked, and Centipeder thrummed with laughter: “It is so humiliating for them, poor things! Thank heaven my physiology makes it impossible.” Before long, Nezu had Juzo talking about his ambition to divest from the cooperative of young heroes where he worked now and start his own agency. “I know it’s a pretty big feat,” his friend joked, “but I hope all my small ones will add up.” Nezu chortled, then squeaked as though he had thought of something tremendously clever, “Perhaps you should join him, Sir Nighteye, now that you’re getting on in years! You can’t be a sidekick forever, you know!” It was a natural enough thing to say, in theory. Sidekick status befitted young heroes, virtually all of whom had ambitions of rising independently through the rankings. Few were over thirty, and fewer of those had any reputation to speak of. Moving beyond the title didn’t necessarily entail a separation from one’s mentor, personally or even professionally. Often enough, people who got along, who had grown to depend on each other—and sometimes more, as everyone knew—would formally announce a shift to an equal partnership. It had happened with Team Kazan, and the Water Hose heroes, and plenty of others besides. But for himself and All Might, such a thing was obviously nonsense. For Japan’s top hero, the Symbol of Peace, unrivaled in combat and adored in the public eye, suddenly to become half of a set, the other of whom had no physical prowess to speak of and no taste for exposure? It didn’t even bear discussion.
