RPG Idea: a Honey Heist spin-off called The Groundhog Day Disaster.

Players take on the roles of several groundhog time travelers, with a machine that can do one thing - replay the same day over and over. They’ve been assigned by the Borough Burrow Bureau (the agency of subterranean creatures) to teach important lessons. Usually this involves humans, and the Groundhogs must stay undercover as ordinary rodents. But some adventures might take place in a forest or within the BBB itself, and they can leave their secret identities behind.

Of course, the missions are never simple. The Groundhogs might contend with territorial pets, a volcanic eruption, or the mayhem of their target’s actions in the time loop. But they’re the best of the best. They’ll put together the complex parts into some wild solution, and have some delicious roots to eat along the way.

The Spanish Nintendo Store is gonna ruin me

They always have the BEST Mario merch whenever a new game is announced or about to be released and I want it ALL 😭😭😭 (and I want it now 🎶)

I mean, look at this!!!! 🤩🤩🤩 Not only the game includes a pin of the princess, but also a LOVELY notebook and, OMG, I LOVE collecting notebooks, I'm a writer and I've been buying and gathering all kinds of notebooks throughout my entire life AND NOW THEY RELEASE A PRINCESS PEACH NOTEBOOK!?!?!?!?!? I just needed it so BADLY 😭😭😭

Isn't it BEAUTIFUL my God I'm so in LOVE 😭😭😭 You BET is gonna be MINE OMG

Mario merch is very difficult to find where I live (and when I do find it, it's usually targeted for children 😅). So the fact that the Spanish Nintendo Store gives us the chance to get these beauties when preordering the games is truly a treat and a dream and a chance I won't miss.

I just need to win the lottery 😂😂😂

Graveyard Keeper

You wake up in the middle ages and are a graveyard keeper. Tend to your church, make friends with the local witch, talk to inquisitors, enjoy fishing, raise zombies, and find a way home. This game is one of the more complicated farming simulators, and is especially fun if you're looking for more involved gameplay.

DorfRomantik

A delightful, soothing, beautiful puzzle game. Use tiles to build a charming town with a minimalist UI. As you play, you unlock new tiles and different color palettes. This is a game I like to play at family gatherings or other events, because it's easy to pick up and put down, and anyone can appreciate the sweet aesthetics.

Strange Horticulture

An occult puzzle game, in Strange Horticulture you unlock new plants, pet your cat, and solve mysteries in order to discover the story. This game has a rather witchy vibe, and I love all the plant information.

Alchemist Simulator

Discover new potions and spells in Alchemist Simulator! The game is a little janky, but it's so much fun uncovering new recipes and ingredients.

The Flame in the Flood

You and your dog are trapped in a camp during a great flood. Repair your raft, navigate a huge river, forage supplies, avoid wolves, find shelter in the rain, and try to make it to the end of the river. This game is darker than some of the others on this list, but it is decidedly autumnal and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Bonus Game: Dome Keeper

Currently only available on PC, Dome Keeper is a brand new game released this year. Equal parts tower defense and resource management, in this game you are sent to an alien planet where you must mine for resources in between defending yourself from monster waves. This game is incredibly well designed, and the retro look and color palette make it perfect for a chilly autumn day. I usually only play games on the switch, but this game is so much fun I had to get it. You don't need a ton of power to run it, and I would argue it's one of the best games of 2022.

Idea: an rpg that has a guessing game as a resolution mechanic.

I think that if the goal is to match the tone of the story with the tone of the rules, this would lean toward a spy story, or maybe something like Fiasco? You could do a lot of opposed checks between players, and represent the drama of the unknown with the tools you're using.

Example: The Baroness is trying to find the Double Agent in disguise at the diplomatic gala to pass on her secret message about the peace treaty. The two players do an abbreviated round of Codenames to represent the passwords and countermeasures involved. If one of them fails to uncover the clue words, their character is asked politely to accompany a security guard. Example: The Double Agent, now under arrest, is being interrogated. The player does a round of Guess Who against the GM (Maybe this is a GMless game, so they could play against a volunteer from among the other players). If they lose, they let something slip and reveal part of their identity. If they win, they're able to draw out a weakness from the security guard or his employers, and exert leverage to get free.

Maybe this is too silly. Give it a try though! Or combine it with your normal dice-based games for a change of pace!

Oh shit! It's official! Alice In Borderland will have a Season 3 coming up soon maybe it will come between December 2024 or in January 2025. I'm excited to see Arisu and the others going back to Borderland to play against the new face card; The Joker. Also I hope to see Banda and Yaba as the new face card kings. I at least hope some of the old characters can come back to Borderland like Chishiya, Akane, Niragi, ect.
