Waking up to a ton of DMs and Anons alerting me to Sam Heughan posting an OBVIOUS LATERGRAM of him having vacationed on the island of Nevis. Thanks, Team, really appreciate you! Let's dive right in!

Earlier today, Sam posted this to his Instagram stories. It gives his location away, so it is FOR SURE a latergram, and he is no longer there. He would never let anyone know exactly where he is in real time. 👇

BUT, this pic didn't take itself and isn't a selfie from the back hahaha, and there is only ONE beach lounger next to him. Soooo, it's safe to say he wasn't alone and I can't imagine this wasn't a vacation with a lady friend. WHO is the question. 👇

He was very tanned when he pretaped the Kelly Clarkson Show, so he had already gone to Nevis when he taped this. 👇

Now remember when a couple of weeks ago I got this Anon saying they'd heard Sam was in the Bahamas and if "we see him with a nice tan," we'll know why? Look at the date of when I posted that--a couple of weeks ago. At the time, I thought the Anon was full of crap, but now I wonder if they did know something, but just got the wrong island. 👇

Nevis isn't the Bahamas but it's still an island, so maybe Anon just got the location wrong, but she did foreshadow him making an appearance with a tan. 👇

But Sam is no longer there because my longtime trusted source confirmed he was seen at JFK Airport on Oct. 22 headed to Edinburgh, like I posted a couple of days ago. 👇

And then another Tumblr acct ALSO confirmed he'd been seen by an Instagram influencer at the airport lounge on the same date. The blogger left the comments in this post of mine. 👇

Soooooo, Sam went to Nevis a couple of weeks ago, with WHOM is the question. These are latergram pics for sure. And I got the source scoop that he flew from NY to Edinburgh on Oct. 22. He may not be there anymore but he was CONFIRMED heading there by my source and backed up by the IG influencer.

Was taking Nevis for a walk the other day, because he can wear a harness so I can take him outside with me, and he often attracts attention. Gotten used to kids and adults alike coming up wanting to look at him and ask questions, but the other day a I'm sure very lovely woman comes up to us saying, "I'm sorry if this is strange, but I'm very spiritual." I smile, nod, but inside I'm dreading that she's going to try and sell me something. And I don't like being rude so would probably buy something just to make her go away. But it was fine. She just went on, "I believe when I see something beautiful I have been blessed, and I believe birds are beautiful and to see a bird here with an owner..." so really she was just nice and my fears entirely unfounded.

Really though, the point is that Nevis is basically a god now, so if you need a blessing here he is.

Saint Kitts and Nevis is “not totally free” under King Charles III, the country’s prime minister has said.

The King is the head of the two-island sovereign state – with Saint Kitts the first Caribbean island that English colonists permanently settled.

Saint Kitts and Nevis prime minister Dr Terrance Drew also said he would welcome an apology from the monarchy for its historic links to the slave trade.

Buckingham Palace told the BBC that the King has pledged to deepen his understanding of the impact of slavery, something he takes “profoundly seriously”.

“That learning process has continued with vigour and determination since His Majesty’s accession,” Buckingham Palace said.

The palace noted that the King “has long acknowledged the discussion about constitutional arrangements”.

In a speech to Commonwealth leaders last year, the King said: “Each member’s constitutional arrangement, as republic or monarchy, is purely a matter for each member country to decide.”

Last month, Buckingham Palace said it was supporting and cooperating with an independent study into the relationship between the British monarchy and the transatlantic slave trade.

Speaking about the study, Dr Drew said: “I think that acknowledging that ... something wrong was done, acknowledging it and apologising for it, is a step in the right direction.”

He added: “We are not just speaking about a monetary contribution, because we are not acting like victims.

“It is about real changes even within the systems that are still affecting people of African descent in negative ways.”

During the then Prince of Wales’s visit to Barbados in 2021, Buckingham Palace said reparations are a political matter for individual governments to address.

There is widespread support for compensation for the descendants of enslaved Africans throughout the Carribbean. A 10-point plan was proposed in 2014 by the Caricom Reparations Commission, made up of 15 member states including Barbados, Jamaica, the Bahamas and Saint Kitts and Nevis.

The plan includes cash payments, development funding, and formal apologies by states with historical links to the slave trade.

The King and Prince William have previously expressed personal sadness about slavery.

During a visit to Rwanda last year, the then Prince of Wales said he could not describe “the depths of his personal sorrow” at the suffering caused by the slave trade.

In April, prime minister Rishi Sunak refused to formally apologise for the UK’s historic role in the slave trade, saying: “Trying to unpick our history is not the right way forward.”

Last week, representatives from 12 Commonwealth countries joined forces to call on the King to acknowledge and apologise for the impact and ongoing legacy of British “genocide and colonisation”.

The statement called on the King to act on the royal family’s recent expressions of sorrow by beginning a process for reparations and returning stolen artefacts and bodily remains.

As for the chatter yesterday as to WHAT was sitting inside the beach umbrella...some people thought it was a purse and sunglasses hidden up there. I wasn't of that opinion btw...today, it's clear it's simply the umbrella cord pulley system. It's hidden like that so that the cords that pull the heavy umbrella up and down don't hang down on guests. 👇
