Chromatovores
• Literally "color eaters"
• An enigmatic species of magical creatures that consume color, as well as ink and on rare occasions light
• Nobody knows where they came from, but a general theory is that they're like the universe's white blood cells that have started attacking things they really shouldn't
• Chromatovores are ancient, they've been around since the beginning and will likely still be here after all the stars have burned out and there is nothing left but seething blackness and void
• They resemble long many legged serpents, but that's the only similarities between individuals, some have heads like leeches, or blunt crocodile heads, serrated beaks, or eyeless faces. Spikes, frills, feathers, scales, or bare gelatinous flesh. But always have mouths full of endless sharp teeth of various sizes
• Chromatovores are largely translucent or transparent, with occasional white markings in the form of false eyes or stripes
• Their organs and bones are completely visible from the outside
• Their blood is clear, but shimmers with rainbow iridescence like oil, it's also highly corrosive and smells very much like industrial cleaners
• Chromatovores can stick to most surfaces like geckos
• There is no upper limit to how big a Chromatovore can get so long as it has enough food available
• They breed asexually, producing clusters of slimy translucent eggs that they affix to the walls or undersides of damp areas
• Chromatovore larvae are not cared for by their parents and can fend for themselves almost immediately, they're occasionally mistaken for newts or axolotls
• They're Frighteningly Intelligent, but incapable of speaking any known language. They can however laugh like people.
• When a chromatovore eats, they sink their teeth into their prey like vampires and suck out all the color, leaving their victims white, gray, or in very extreme circumstances completely nonexistent
• Sometimes victims can continue living after their colors are gone, but most often than not, they die shortly afterwards
• Pigment is important for organic creatures, like chlorophyll in leaves, or iron in blood. So removing it has nasty consequences
• Chromatovores are plagues upon artists, Archivists and librarians as they will consume the text from books if left unchecked
• Chromatovores will consume the colors from Stained Glass and gems, and even the light from stars if they're big and bold enough
• But galactic threat level Chromatovores haven't been seen in many millenia
• After feeding, a Chromatovore will "wear" the colors it has eaten until they've been digested and the creature is "blank" again
• Some Chromatovores seem to have favorite colors and will hunt for those specifically

It's times like this that I really hate being polyamorous. He knows, so I really shouldn't be worried, but I don't know how to broach the topic with him without making it seem that he's not enough. I love him so, so dearly and I'm terrified to lose him. I am NOT going to get into a relationship with ANYONE before talking to him and receiving his consent first. If he says that he doesn't want me to, I won't. It's as simple as that. My fear is that I'll plant a seed of insecurity in him; that I don't love him as much as I say I do, that he's not enough, that I need something else. I don't. I feel so selfish for liking someone else at the same time as him. There's nothing that I can do about having feelings for more than one person, but I will not hesitate to put it aside for him. Relationships are a series of communication, boundaries, and compromises. For them to be healthy, all of these things must exist. What's difficult for me is finding the proper words to communicate.

I find the J*hnny D*pp thing so triggering. It's like watching a real-time version of second-opinion bias, with the added fact that Amber hasn't had her turn to make her case yet, and also that he's really unlikely to win, making me feel like he is literally just dragging her back into court to torture her and destroy her reputation. She didn't want this. She won their divorce settlement, she won the case in the UK, she has won literally every case he has brought against her to torment her, and you guys are still out here armchair diagnosing her with psychopathy and saying that all her evidence is fake but all his is real? The hot-lipped truth of it is that one thing that is definitely real are the texts where J talks about r wording her. No, he didn't get the r wording bit from Monty Python. That's just his own "sense of humour". We can't know for sure what happened in their marriage, but I will never watch anything with J in again because I think he's disgusting, and I think based on the findings of the courts so far, he is guilty as sin.
