I will literally sign onto the code thing’s army, it took my son’s (life) from me but you took away my memories- You know what? No! Forget that! I HATE YOU BOTH!

I just had to transcript q!Bad’s huge rant at the end of stream it was so funny and also pretty darn good to contextualize his character more

Haha, it's so funny how I am so indecisive that I go "I wanna draw my son" and then have too many ideas as to how. So here!

Take Ferdinands (and a Felix, I suppose, bc they are boyfrinds in my heart and soul).

Dancing in the Sky~ Seems Mahsa is more sure-footed when she's not on the ground, whereas for Riz it's the opposite. This is another one of those Key Scenes that's been in my head for years. Getting the composition to work the way I wanted (and the POSES) was a struggle! I spent weeks researching, referring to other artists' work to get everything "right". Luckily I had already found the landscapes I wanted to reference (or took the photos myself)

I was thinking about Stone and his variants and their responses to if you said you love him (along with my little comments). It's a little angsty for some of them and for Serial Killer!Stone you get a little more insight on why he thinks loving him always ends in tragedy.

Stone/Canon!Stone: "You do? ...No one has ever loved me before."

(Canon!Stone truly has no idea what to do with someone who loves him, huh?)

Girl Dad!Stone: "Ever since my early adult years, I thought only Saira would be the one to say those words to me. I love you too."

(There's enough room in his heart to love you and Saira.)

Grim Reaper!Stone: "You don't have to pretend to love me. I'm already your weapon to wield."

(Every time I think about him, it hurts. And here I thought Canon!Stone hurt me the most.)

Criminal!Stone: "I love you too. You're the air I breathe."

(Please stop him before he tells you about how you're his entire universe. We get it, you're obsessed with the mafia boss, Criminal!Stone.)

Baker!Stone: "You have no idea how much I love you too. I want to marry you. Please do me the honor of calling myself your husband?"

(Baker!Stone is so soft and sweet. He'll buy you the most expensive engagement and wedding ring he can afford.)

Feral!Stone: "As you should."

(I have no words for this response except for that it somehow fits Feral!Stone so much. Why does he think you should worship the very ground he walks on?? Where did this arrogance come from??)

Serial Killer!Stone: "The last man to love me died in a dirty alleyway with no one around to be with him in his last moments."

(Fun fact, Kali and Serial!Stone were dating and Kali was on his way to propose to Stone when he got mugged. Yes, Kali's death was the preverbal straw that broke the camel's back and got Stone into vigilantism.)

Experiment!Stone: "I didn't think anyone would love me after what the military did to me. But I feel so happy that you love me because I love you too."

(He thinks he's a monster due to the fact that he's half-tiger-half-man now. But you remind him that he still has his humanity.)

Vampire!Stone: "Know that I'd burn in the sun for you if it meant you were safe."

(It's an odd way to say he loves you too, but at least the intention is there.)

Werewolf!Stone: "I don't need a huge pack, I just need you."

(That's his way of saying he wants to bear your pups. I mean, it's his way of saying he loves you.)

its been a while since i read the reapertale comic, so some of this info might be wrong lol

i find reapers fandom personality to be kinda funny, and i do like some of the changes, but i wish people would still reference the comic more. like, i wish people would talk about his depression!! the fact that i'm pretty sure he wishes he could die, but he IS death. so he can't. and he finds that eternally frustrating.

or that he hates his job because he's been shunned and seen as a monster by everyone he knows except his brother.

the biggest thing however? one that i've never seen a single soul mention? he doesn't like mortals. he thinks they're stupid. in one scene in the comic reaper is telling life, his toriel, about a story where he reaped a humans soul and the humans partner tried to journey the underworld to find their lovers soul only to also end up dead. he laughs and kinda mocks them because he thinks it was stupid.toriel responds with smth like "reaper. listen. if i dissapeared one day and you couldn't find me. what would you do to get me back?" and the look on his face. he looked.. conflicted. after that he made a joke and left, but he then leaned against a wall out of sight because he found himself terrified. he realized he would do absolutely anything to bring life back. and that scared him. being as impulsive and emotion driven as a mortal is something he genuinely doesn't understand. he's never lost anyone. sure he's had a rough life, but he's never had a mortal life. he can't understand why they feel what they feel and that scares him. the mere idea of acting on impulse makes him run.

and what happens when life dies in the comic? he loses it. he can't handle it. he's never experienced something like this before. he kills everything.

but his emotions are so strong that he just... wipes all life off the face of the earth within seconds. and then.. he shuts down. i wish we could see more of that in the utmv. could you imagine what it would be like to have a being so powerful they can destroy worlds in seconds and they can't entirely control it? people would be tip toeing around him, constantly trying not to make his emotions explode

could you imagine how much of a jerk he'd be to everyone? he wouldn't care about them. they're all pathetic mortals (yes. ink and error are mortals, sorry but i'm staying as close to canon as possible. dream and nightmare would be the equivelent of demigods, i think. powerful, but killable). they don't understand being a god. but he doesn't understand being a mortal.

this has so much potential you don't understand. i don't want reaper acting like a perfect angel. he's kind of a jerk. that's just a fact. so embrace that. he could kill everything with a single thought but he doesn't because he just doesn't give a crap about mortal affairs. they come to him like "reaper! we need your help!! nightmares killing so many people!! help us save the multiverse!!!" and he'd be like "nah. you mortals got yourself into this, you can get yourselves out."

he's kinda selfish. show that.

show him eventually coming out of his shell and finding that he actually wants to help people because he likes them. show the terror that comes with that realization. the realization that he has friends. and he loves them. how would he deal with that? what would he do then?

or!!! afterdeath!!!!! stars, could you imagine how he'd react when he realizes he's fallen in love with a mortal of all things? mortals have lifespans. they grow old. they change. they die. he wouldn't immediately flirt with geno, he would run. he would run and never come back until curiosity got the better of him. and slowly geno would break down his walls and he's terrified because the real world is scary.

reaper is sheltered, to an extent. i just wish people would show that more.

Hello, I'm back from my small break. Been thinking about reapers lately

Mostly with Grim. Grim is actually gender ambiguous in the files. But is described in male pronouns in the game. I think Grim is a hermaphrodite, but said he was male to make it easier. Though over time they really don't care what you call em. Like his son, Grim has a bunch of scars. They're from wild wolves that tried to kill his cattle

When you fight with your dad. Reapers are giants to me. They're beings of death, so they must be tall creatures in my mind. While they're alive, they can be normal human height, or taller like Nerv. Grim was around a normal height for a man before getting a reaper growth spurt after death

Finally, we have some family stuff. The first time Grim went into a human form because Olive peer pressured em to see what she looked like with skin. And this is when she found out about Grim having some ta-tas. Grim was self conscious about his face so they covered it up at first. Olive doesn't mind Grim's gender, like with his face she loves em no matter what. Though you can't see him in the last one because of Grim's fucking huge ass hand, Nervous is being held by his dad for the first time. They were both happy to see each other. Though Grim was more scared about accidentally crushing him in her hand
