So this is a fic that sat in my tbr pile for years, and once I read it I just blew through it. This is a Peter-is-Tony's-son fic, a trope that I am just addicted to. And I really love all the twist and turns this fic took, and I can't recommend it enough!

My Comments: This fic sat in by tbr for years, and when I finally read it, I couldn’t believe I waited this long. It’s over 500 thousand words and I just blew through it in a day. I can’t recommend this fic enough. It’s set during Civil War, which is what made me wait so long to read it, but I really like how it went over the events, and I liked how the beginning of this fic sort of set it up. Also all the Irondad and Spiderson was just to die for. I loved both Peter and Tony’s relationship, and I liked how it went over Tony and Peppers as well. I didn’t really like Steve in this fic, but I can see why he was written that way, and I did think it worked for this fic. I highly recommend this fic!! This fic is cross posted on ff.net, so like always, I’ll link that down below.

Got another one for you! I think it has 2 chapters. So I believe Morgan ran into the woods after a fight between her and Peter and she gets kidnapped. Peter doesn't press the panic button and instead tries to get her back himself. But Morgan pressed hers so Tony shows up and is furious that Peter didn't press his. Peter hides out in the woods, comes back intending to say goodbye to Morgan, but is caught and there's a big lecture given to him by Tony and Pepper. That's all I can remember. Thank you!

Summary: Sam and Bucky are a couple of guys. A couple of guys who have been battered and bruised down to their souls, and who are in need of some serious rest and relaxation. Bucky would be happy to crawl back into his isolation, but Sam coaxes him into another visit to Delcroix. With no impending doom hanging over their heads, Sam and Bucky have a chance to really get to know one another and see if the spark between them might turn into something more.

Summary; Bucky and Sam are called to assist SWORD with a strange object from space that's landed in Louisiana, where they meet Dr. Darcy Lewis. After the situation takes an even weirder turn for Darcy and Bucky, they reconnect in New York to figure out the mysterious cube - and their mutual attraction.

Summary: Wherein Deadpool is reluctantly hired to protect Peter Parker from an organization out to hunt him, with varying success on both ends and quite a lot of feelings, revelations, and identity crises.

Summary: The rouge Avengers are pardoned under the influence of King T'Challa and it is up to Tony to 'welcome' them back. Summary: A story in which the serum doesn't affect Steve's size, the shield goes to Bucky, and they reunite years before the Battle of New York. Also, Steve is a punk, but that's canon.

A timeline starting with the Howling Commandos and going all the way to Pre-Infinity War.

Peter Parker is on top of the world. After a few shitty years, losing his parents and then losing his Uncle, things are finally looking up. Sure he lives in a crappy little apartment with his Aunt but he might have just found his mission in life.

How to keep his entire situation under wraps and most importantly, who he can trust.

Then, along comes Tony Stark with an offer he can’t refuse. The plan is to remain professional, to not get too close to the Stark-Rogers’ family. Not getting comfortable means not slipping up and saying anything that he can’t take back.

...but for Peter- things rarely go as planned...

yall, i’m a sucker for a homeless peter fic and this one DOES NOT disappoint! i freaking love it! ned is the awesomest of awesome bros, tony and steve are adorable, and of course tony and peter are absolutely everything. the characterisations are on point, its great writing, 10/10 would recommend again

Peter Parker was back from the dead. At least that is what everybody told him. He'd been snapped out of existence until some sort of time travel and an active death wish by his mentor had saved him and the universe. Just your average sort of life for a 16 year old from Queens.

Peter comes back to find May has a husband and a kid. A new family he has to fit into. But he has done it before, he can do it again.

The only thing that feels solid is Tony: the Blip and fatherhood have mellowed him and Peter loves the bond they have now. He knows Tony would be there for him through anything. But Tony needs to focus on his own recovery - not small time Peter Parker problems. When things at home take a turn for the worse, Peter decides that he'll handle it himself. He is Spider-man. He's been to space and fought aliens. He can get through anything. After all, if May is happy, he is happy, right? Right?

this fic is EVERYTHING! so much angst but it’s all balanced out with the perfect amount of fluff throughout. i love it so much! peter and tony’s relationship is amazingly done, as well as his relationships with may and the other avengers. i just. love it so freaking much and can’t recommend it enough

Irondad Analysis: Peter falling (Infinity War)

 Aww, thank you so much @mshermia​, I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed the previous analyses, and yes! I love that scene too! And you’ve picked a great one to dissect here, so let’s just get right into it!

“Uh Mr Stark? I’m being beamed up!”

First of all, I’d just like to say how proud I am of Peter for reaching a point where he can easily ask for help when he’s in over his head. In Civil War, he insists to Tony that he’s able to keep fighting when he clearly needs to rest, but now we can see how far he’s grown that he calls for Tony’s assistance now without even a hint of hesitation. It also shows how much he trusts Tony to be able to save him if needed!

“Hang on kid!”

The first thing Tony does when he hears that Peter is in danger is reassure him with the promise that he’s going to help, but that he can’t get there right at that moment, hence the need for Peter to “hang on” until he could get there.

“Wong you’re invited to my wedding.”

This part is great because after Wong saves Tony from the alien, Tony’s immediate response is to invite someone who is essentially a stranger to one of the most important events of his life, and it’s all because he helped him get to Peter faster!

Now here’s where things get really interesting, because Tony knows that Peter is about to fall off at any second. From that height, it would almost certainly be fatal too.

But this isn’t the first time that one of Tony’s loved ones has faced a deathly fall however:

The love of his life, who Tony couldn’t catch in time and would have died if not for the Extremis she was subjected to.

And his best friend, who sustained permanent damage to his spine when nobody was able to catch him.

For Tony, heights and falling are one of the few things he can’t save his loved ones from. He was never fast enough. Never good enough. So what does he do instead when Peter is about to suffer a similar fate?

“Unlock 17A.”

He keeps the very suit designed to protect Peter in a pod that can reach the upper atmosphere in record time, speeding past Tony who was already in the air and had an extra thruster activated, all in order to reach Peter in time.

“Pete, you gotta let go I’m gonna catch you.”

“But you said save the wizard!”

 I love that Tony calls him “Pete” here, it reinforces what I said in my previous analysis about how comfortable they’ve gotten with each other since Homecoming. And I think it’s interesting to note too that Peter isn’t scared of the fall, nor is he worried that Tony wouldn’t catch him. In fact he has complete faith that Tony would catch him in time, he’s just stubborn and refuses to let go anyway, like any good teenager hah!

“I can’t breathe.”

“We’re too high up, you’re running out of air.”

“Yeah... that makes sense.”

Living proof that a genius can still be a damn moron right here.

And here we have the reveal of the IronSpider suit in all its glory! It would seem that the nanotech function was a later addition from the suit we saw at the end of Homecoming, since Tony’s suit was still mechanical at that time. This means that Tony was updating Peter’s backup suit over the years as he progressed with his own armour, which is a testament to how close Peter truly is to him now that he would want him to have the latest and greatest tech.

“Happy trails kid. Friday, send him home.”

“AW COME ON!”

Ahh, if only he had really gone home Tony, then we might have been spared of future emotional trauma :’)

I really hope you enjoyed this analysis! This one especially had a lot of emotional weight on Tony’s side, which will only continue to heighten when we reach the next analysis: Peter appearing on the alien ship!
