My goofy aah interpretation of Elfilis!!!

For starters, Elfilis is an angel, more specifically a seraph.

[In my lore angels are beings born from Void (the creator god)'s feelings or emotions. So Voidspawns.]

Elfilis specifically was born from God's will to live, making them the angel of life, if you will. Which is also why they are the Ultimate Lifeform: they are the perfect prey, they cannot be killed. They are the perfect predator, no prey can escape them. They are unstoppable, completely immune to death (or injury, given their Genome Repairs move.)

Genetically, they are the peak of evolution.

The pinnacle of life.

Perfection.

And they are very much aware of it. Ever since they were born, they've been aware of how feeble the lives of others were conpared to theirs, which made them grow arrogant and conceited toward the ones they deem "inferior."

Why they destroy planets? Well... it's a game for them. But rather than the genocide of a planet's worth of life, it's the wrecking of the surface that they seek. And if there's life on the planet that's just a little bonus, as they will get chased for a bit, and they do love themself a little challenge.

This is what I mean when I say I understand them. Just like we are the apex predators of our planet, Elfilis is the apex predator of everything ever of all time. They see everyone the same way we could see an insect, and just like a little child would, they have no issue with crushing them. Killing insects for fun is obviously wrong, but if you didn't have someone teaching you that it's, would you still consider it wrong?

But under all the apatheticness and self-centeredness they show towards "inferior beings," Elfilis has a softer, sweeter, cheerful side. Well, not exactly under since they're pretty open about it (anyone who crosses their path is either a victim who won't last long, or, if they find someone they consider at their level, a bestie)

As I said before, they feel genuine utter fun while destroying planets. For the most part, they seek the thrill. You know how Elfilin popcorns by flapping his tiny arms in that super cute way? He inherited it from Elfilis. They love physical affection but they’re disgusted by the thought of being touched by an "inferior being" (if you forcefully hug them and somehow survive they'll melt in your arms tho). They want to be seen, they try to make every conquest bigger and brighter than the pervious not just to fuel their ego but especially because they like it.

Everything they do is simply because they like it.

They are the Ultimate Lifeform, after all.

Library rats

Since the Rats of Nimh came, the local library rodent population evolved quite a lot. Even the mouses started to learn reading books instead of chewing them. At first it was only cheesy lectures. Then, they went for advanced subjects. Several generations went by, and nowadays, the elders think they have a good grasp of the world. They dedicated they short lives to teach to the youngsters, instead of loosing themselves to research. The unsuspecting humans in charge of the place should be glad the rodents stays on the "fiction" shelf and not on the "mechanical engineering" one.

Depuis la visite des Rats de Nihm, la population des rongeurs de la bibliothèque municipale a quelque peu… évolué. Même les souris se sont mises à lire les livres au lieu de les grignoter. C'est vrai que les premières lectures étaient plutôt orientées "Fromage". Après plusieurs générations, les anciens pensent avoir acquis une solide connaissance du monde qui les entoure. Ils dédient désormais leurs courtes vies à enseigner aux jeunes plutôt que de se perdre dans leurs recherches. Les humains en charge du lieu ignorent tout de la situation. Ils devraient s'estimer heureux que les rongeurs aient établis leur quartiers au rayon "Fiction" plutôt qu'"Ingénierie Appliquée".
