"We got it four or five in the morning, just as the sun was coming up. It was dawn filtering through the windows, so it had that almost half-asleep feeling. It was gorgeous. I still listen to that song now and again."

“And now you on your own.” The feeling of weightlessness, sinking into Miles' bones. Water flows through the gaps of his fingers and against his legs as he propels himself forward, nothing but sea foam against bare skin and waves bringing him up and down in steady motion. Up and down, up and down with the flow of the ocean. The next wave comes; he rises with it. Or, Uncle Aaron takes Miles to the beach on Monday.
wrote a little something about Miles and Aaron.

Moonlight Mile
"Recording took place during the end of October 1970 at Stargroves. The song was the product of an all-night session between Jagger and guitarist Mick Taylor."
Mick Jagger: "At some point during the tour I played it for Mick Taylor, because I thought he would like it." Mick Taylor: "Mick first sang it to me in a first-class railway compartment on the way from London to Bristol."
"I started picking it out on acoustic guitar and Mick (Taylor) followed me."
"I remember Mick Taylor playing that song. Real dreamy kind of semi-Middle Eastern piece. Yeah, that's a real pretty song" "When we finished our European tour in October 1970, we were at Stargroves, my country house in England. We were sitting around one night and I started working on what I had initially written. I felt great. I was in my house again and it was very relaxing. So the song became about that—looking forward to returning from a foreign place while looking out the window of a train and the images of the railway line going by in the moonlight."
"I think we finished recording the basic track around 6 a.m. The sun was coming up."

he's a ww2 medic and uhhh has some issues <3 but let's be real, which of my ocs doesn't? i'm sure i'll talk more about teddy at some point, considering i've got a wip in the works centered around him, but for now get this: very cold, distant medic who gets transferred companies after the death of his best friend. shit goes down from there. (by shit i mean healing. HEALING)
