Understanding 12th House Synastry

(*updated* and more accurate post about about 12th house synastry overlays along with Neptune synastry that makes harsh aspects to another's inner planets such as the Sun, Moon, rising, Venus or Mars)

There are two sides of 12th house synastry that I commonly see. The spectrum is different compared to the 8th house because with the 8th house, there are highs and lows, obvious extremes, there's oftentimes constant lessons, cycles and loops, but with the 12th house, there's a different undertone.

The 12th house is a very unforeseen house, when it comes with synastry, the spectrum of love that can be received and given is unfathomable. I am going to first discuss what this energy is like when someone deals with this type of synastry while having Neptune (especially harshly) aspecting your inner planets/12th house placements/Pisces placements; then I will go in-depth for how they would feel without those placements.

(that being said my main discussion deals with the foundation of both individuals having attraction or interest on both ends, as well as other intense synastry overlays such as harsh or soft attraction synastry aspects, + eros, lilith, chiron, pluto, or 8th house synastry)

As a 12th house native or with heavy Pisces influence (e.g., a Pisces Venus, Sun, Moon, rising, or with a natal Neptune squaring, opposing or conjunct the Sun, Moon, rising, Venus) this type of synastry is confusing, it's blurry and parts of you can second guess almost everything about them, what you are to them, what they are to you etc. There are no tangible boundaries when it comes to the emotional depth you are willing to feel for them. On some days you can find yourself wondering where you stand with them, you fixate on their energy, and you'll wonder if they're thinking of you. You look into their eyes and just feel their mental health struggles, their fears, their hidden thoughts, what they need to hear to feel seen past the 3D. You're like a walking and breathing affirmation audio tape of everything their subconscious always wished to of heard throughout life. That one broken image or belief they have within their subconscious self is the one thing you can't help but compliment them on, the feelings they ignore, suppress or hide away are the feelings you want to naturally reassure them about. It's like you become this real life 3D fixer upper for this individual, and you just can't help but be drawn with saving, helping, or fixing them. (undoubtedly so if you also fall in their 2nd house, especially your inner planets, if there is no 2nd house influence then the compliments/praising will be less intense or frequent)

The beginning of this synastry embodies confusion. Since there's no real tangible statement or understanding you can hold onto. You'll just know how they operate before ever really knowing them.

You'll just want to make sure that they are okay, and that can come in many different ways, you yourself will just know. You can turn into this savior that they never knew they needed, you'll just want to give and love everything out of them; and in some cases receiving or having that mutual give and take may be something you think you don't need, especially when it comes to them, and especially if you have a natal 12th House Venus or a Pisces Venus/a Natal Venus that squares, conjuncts or opposes Neptune (this can apply to the Moon as well).

To reiterate; if you share the above placements you instantly can become drawn towards the house person. You will look at them and see every facet of their being, their hidden pain, their sorrows, why they feel the way they do, why they struggle the way they struggle, their mental health dilemmas, their soul; especially so if you as well have a water Moon that harshly aspects Neptune as well as the above listed placements. But these feelings don't persist automatically or openly, the desires the planet person or the one person who has the placements I listed/spiritual enlightenment + attraction towards the house person (or the other person) stays at bay and stays being unsaid, especially in the beginning. The planet person with these placements etc etc, can hold onto constant dilemmas and wonder if what they are feeling is real, if what they desire is one sided, especially if there is little to no communication between the dynamic.

On the other side of the spectrum, this bond (when wanted on both ends) can create a soul binding connection where the house person would feel like no one else can ever understand them the way the planet person can. No one else would be able to read them like the book they secretly are, no one else can look into their eyes and bring solace into their bones, which in-turn can cause the dynamic between them to consistently become something that is impossible to let go of.

With attraction + desire the house person may feel like a hug from the planet person* (or vice versa) is equivalent to receiving a sense of understanding and safety that they weren't aware they ever needed. The house person may just find themselves fully being able to lay and hold onto the planet person* and there's this unsaid desire just be next to them. The planet person* may instinctively feel this pull or knowing that there is a softer more serene side of the house person that not everyone see's and even though there's no tangible words to hold onto, that feeling within them doesn't dissipate. Just with one hug from the house person and the planet person* will know that there's a soft and quiet side inside them that they hide or suppress away.

* = placements I listed + spiritually understanding/enlighted

The house person will ask themselves: How do I let go of the one soul who speaks to the parts of myself that I don't even know? The intensity of the bond can vary based on each others natal placements, but I do believe the connection can become deep and unworldly even without the placements I've listed since attraction and desire are two KEY factors that would override any natal placement. Instant psychic understanding about one another on both ends (regardless of natal placements) can occur, you both will know what the other person is thinking, feeling, and needing. If there is genuine desire for one another then the depth of care can become very ethereal and unspoken, especially if the Moon or Venus are involved; if attraction is present and you have the placements I mentioned, a part of you will just want to hold onto the house person. You'll just want to comfort and be present in the moment with them. All that matters to you is that they are doing and feeling okay, with them this part of you unlocks where you just want to caress their soul. But like I said natal placements do have an immense influence, one individual could feel this pull and understanding (w/o the placements I mentioned) but the depth and length for caring may not run as deep as someone else who has the natal placements I listed. They will still care in some shape or form in ways they never knew was possible; but the turnover of moving on or of minimizing selfless acts can become more shallow and less frequent throughout time.

When wanted on both ends with genuine care and desire the song Run To You by Lea Michele perfectly depicts this type of deep care.

Now this type of synastry can also begin the influence of delusion or false presumptions. Genuineness and self awareness is key, not everyone will desire such depth of the unknown especially if they themselves have no set understanding of their own subconscious beliefs.

To reiterate, if this is one sided therefore if they don't share attraction or desire for you; then this type of behavior will feel invasive and they may become confused or unsure with what to do with that type of depth that your eyes can bring them, if they are unaware of their own shadow self, along with not wanting to change or be spiritually awoken, this type of connection can be daunting and misleading in some way for them.

Now lets go deeper: for someone who doesn't have any 12th house Venus, Pisces Venus, Neptune influence (or if you have little to no attraction or interest towards them), or low spiritual awareness/acknowledgement of your own mental health struggles/hidden fears and if someone comes in to your life where they fall in your 12th house, the feelings that acclimate mainly are confusion, resistance or hesitation. You might have some hidden curiosity about the planet person but generally the curiosity can be the furthest you go with this individual. There might be some hidden tension or eye glances towards another but with it there is also a barrier between the two of you. You may feel like you know their body language or what their eye glances mean but you more than likely brush it off and set aside any spiritual coincidences that you have with them. You may also wither back and forth between being more inclined to getting to know them to being unsure with your interest in them or there's a sense of unpreparedness you may struggle with when it comes to this individual. A part of you may feel like their type of love can sooth parts of you that you ignore or mentally struggle with but that type of care can feel unneeded and can bring in fear; since there is a unspoken knowing of what they are able to truly view and feel for you if they were your partner. You may ask yourself, "Can this person fix, and heal me? " "Do I really need to be saved?" "Is this all in my head?" "Can they be the pacifier for the pain I can't even openly express; or will they bring me more sorrow?"

(this dilemma of curiosity is more apparent if you share other direct intense synastry aspects such as 8th/pluto/intense attraction aspects especially with eros or lilith etc)

(Even writing the paragraph above brought me so much confusion, for this post I am drawing from my own experience with 12th house + harsh Neptune synastry with a boy i've known for years and it still brings me so much hesitation and confusion with how he may feel about me. I still stand in uncertainty and confusion even though my own sense of how I feel towards him is consciously open, this energy is so extremely hard to pin point and logically articulate especially as someone who has 12th house placements + harsh aspects to my Moon. I as well share 8th house synastry with the relationship I am referencing and even from being so introspective and readily aware of how 8th house synastry manifests from every minuscule feeling or thought, I am still stuck with; confusion when it comes to the 12th house)

That being said, if there is a connection where one person has these natal placements and desires for the other individual but the other partner doesn't share the same attraction/placements; then that is when unrequited love or unspoken love can occur. To summarize, for 12th house and neptune synastry to be mutual even if the other partner doesn't have those natal these placements, there has to be attraction or desire; whether it be physical, or emotional. Someone could have these placements that I've listed but if there is no want, attraction or desire towards the other person; the dynamic can also become one sided on their end even with the placements and tendencies of being drawn towards connections that share 12th/neptune/pisces influence.

12th house synastry is the house of selflessness, this is the house of giving and giving to no end; since in one essence this house holds no end or beginning, therefore the boundaries and understanding that this house can carry is unknown. Each dynamic with 12th house synastry can be complexed, there are many factors that play a role in influencing this type of connection such as your natal placements, their natal placements, your natal aspects, their natal aspects, you desire and attraction and their desire and attraction and so on. Someone could sit in this confused and undesired energy for the other person for months and have all the placements I've listed. Therefore if that said individual is not prepared or have any desires to hold a connection that is deep and unspoken, they themselves (the planet person or the person who has 12th house/neptune/pisces influence) may even still feel fear or invasiveness towards the other individual that their share 12th house synastry with or vice versa; there are so many avenues and routes these connections can take, at least that's from my own astrological understanding and take on these type of connections.

Side Note: To balance the intensity these synastry aspects/overlays bring, taking on the opposite houses themes would bring more ease and create less intensity.

For example, dealing with 12H (Even Neptune) synastry, the opposite house is the 6H, the house of routine, daily life, mundane affairs, healthcare, helping others/giving etc etc. So to ease this type of fixation this synastry can cause, focus and enhance your own skills when it comes to your physical/mental health. Add more day to day to activities that solely focuses on changing your routine; however big or small. That will ease the fixation that 12H and Neptune synastry brings. This synastry can cause you to daydream or obsess over them, and since you may have this innate need to be their savior that wants to try and fix their wounds, the chance of putting yourself in situations where your priority is solely them is very likely. You could also fantasize and have an escapist attitude with them, (or the idea of them) therefore, they can serve as an escape for you; by focusing on their pain and struggles might cause you to forget about your own mental health challenges. You also might repeat scenarios in your head or fantasize about situations happening; especially since you might feel confused/hazy with where you stand with them, therefore keeping yourself busy is key with this synastry, and that will create more control within you.

P.S

This is all from my own interpretation of 12th house synastry, I would confidently say I am a very very introspective person at heart, I read between the lines constantly and overly fixate on behavior etc and this synastry still clouded my own judgment and understanding for years; it brought in tendencies for me to doubt my true feelings and curiosity, only until I more so let go of the relationship that I am referencing (the boy where I have 8th house synastry with) was the only time I was able to fully look outside my situation with him when it came to my actions and feelings. The constant back and fourth dilemma I struggled with when it came to knowing him and who he was was constant yet truly instant. My soul knew him before my brain did and because of that knowing I was unsure and unconfident with the type of feelings that persisted in the dynamic I shared with him. I have made so many posts about 12th house synastry but I can confidently say that this current post is now the most accurate representation of what can occur between these relationships.

Hope this brings some clarity and understanding for others who have dealt with 12th house and Neptune synastry; if not disregard and again this type of synastry is truly nuanced and multifaceted.

🌤The house the lord of the sign your Chiron is in is in what part of life your trauma originated in, while the house Chiron itself is in is where the effects of the trauma show up. Example 1st House Chiron in Aries, where Mars is placed in the 3rd House. The trauma originated from siblings, extended family (aunts, etc), elementary school, or your childhood neighbourhood, and it affected your identity, sense of self, or your physical body. (the signs of each would give a better picture of how exactly the traumatic incidents went down. like id imagine with aries involved there might be something about embracing the native’s individuality, and with mars in the 3rd it might be form fighting with siblings)

🌤 The Moon in a harsh aspect with the Saturn could be at risk for developing body image issues, especially when the Sun is connected somehow is involved somehow (by connections to the Sun’s domicile lord, connections with the Sun as a domicile lord, or by aspects to the Sun).

🌤 Aries Venus have senses of style people love I keep seeing, and to me it’s because the Aries adds its bold individuality to Venus’s sense of beauty, making looks that are incredibly unique and hard to miss. It reminds me of the whole “you’re the most beautiful when you’re being yourself/confident in being yourself”

🌤 Speaking of Aries Venus, Venus doesn’t really like being in signs ruled by Mars (Scorpio and Aries) but I feel like Mars and Venus have a very delicate relationship. Venus in either of those signs can bring an extra spice that has a lot of positive outcomes, but the nature of Mars is volatile so if Mars is badly situated it’s contact with Venus can be catastrophic. But when Mars is positively situated it balances and energizes Venus instead of destroying her. Those two together are a sort of high-risk, high-reward deal.

🌤 The negative significations of Scorpio placements always seem to be related to situations with the native’s mother..?? I just keep seeing it pop up.

🌤 Mutable signs can be late bloomers in a lot of things because they can’t decide what to focus on. Fixed signs want to maintain what they got, Cardinal signs are good at starting, but Mutable signs are in this fluxuation of starting, stopping, changing. That can be hard to stick with anything long enough to build skills. Cardinal signs are also guilty of this because they’re good at starting but not maintaining, but sometimes a Mutable sign won’t even start, they’ll just observe and ponder. Cardinal signs at least try it out first.

Moon square neptune can show with someone having illusions covering their emotions. Not truly knowing how they feel and feeling uncertain in that. The best way to over come up is through allowing yourself to accept that not everything we feel is 'real' or even our own emotions. Because you can actually be taking in other peoples emotions and mirroring back to them. People can also be projecting how you feel based of how youre acting and this can cause issues with other people. Learn to take your emotional energy and guard it from others cause they can use you as a emotional trash bag if you aren't careful.

Venus opposite Uranus

Embracing your inner desires and expressing them can create something bountiful. Your eccentric ideas need a little tweaking when it comes to your personal style. Youre dating life might change often depending on who your dating, bringing in new insight for you to learn from. Expanding your horizons with your style, love life and artistic values will open up new portals for you to try. This actually a really exhilarating placement. You can be ahead of your time on a lot of hair styles, clothes, etc and could end up being a muse. If youre not into that, this could show it self with what you value for yourself. The way you view self love is odd in terms of what the rest of society thinks, overall it works for you and is actually more beneficial. You may have people think youre a bit weird, overtime they'll come to like you a bit when they see that you just flow differently and are a one of a kind in the way you think, and express yourself.

Venus oppose lilith

This shows me a person who can be seen as a 'whore' but genuinely a likable one at that. Jealous people obsess over you because of your sexuality and your magnetism. You might not even be the most sexiest individual however your aura arouses others into submission. Yes submission lol. People are aware of your power over them and want to dominate you, but it doesnt work out in the way they plan. Both men and women want to date you or 'tame' you. You could be a spectacle to others if not careful. I could see someone with this placement attracting both sexes and being 'experiments' for them. Bringing out their sexual nature that they hide in the shadows, and then blaming you for it. People feel ashamed when their around you because their own inner desires come out when they are near you. So they may paint you to be the 'devil'. Transformative sex is a thing with you guys, you tend to bring this energy out with you youre involved with and they leave not the same. Motherly energy is present with this placement too, but you hide it from others so they cant use you.

Mars opposite Jupiter

This is a special placement to be honest. It can be quite challenging but the truth is you're personal power needs a push with more optimistic beliefs to keep the train rolling. When your thoughts are pessimistic it lowers your drive and passion. These two work extremely well together when you move with resilience and tell yourself that what you want can be achieved. Goals should be large never think to low about what it is you want. Can make an abundance of money with this placement you just have to see the plan through.

Energy Update: Full Moon 19° Aquarius 2022

This full moon, peaking tomorrow night on 8/11 is going to pack a punch. This is definitely the most energetic full moon of the season, if not of the year entirely.

Firstly let's break down why:

the Moon will be closely conjunct to retrograde Saturn in Aquarius and square to the lunar nodes and Uranus in Taurus

Saturn and Uranus are working their way towards their almost-exact square for the fourth time in this ongoing sequence

this is activating a fixed grand cross in the sky (Sun in Leo, South node in Scorpio, Moon and Saturn in Aquarius, and Uranus and the North Node in Taurus)

this is the exact midpoint between our eclipse cycles and will carry with it eclipse energy

Venus will also enter Leo on Thursday

additionally, Mars is going to sextile retrograde Neptune

These are just the aspects that will be going exact during the energy of the full moon. It's worth noting that Venus is still in opposition with retrograde Pluto (was exact on 8/09) and Mars is working towards an exact trine to Pluto on 8/14. That shows that every planet with the exception of Mercury is heavily activated during this lunar cycle.

That's a lot - there's no way around it.

We are coming to a crossroads in the events of our lives. Something about the Taurus-Scorpio-themed lunar story which began in November of 2021 is coming to a head as our Sun and Moon square off with the lunar nodes. This creates a very liminal time when doors open and close. The events that the lunar nodes bring into and out of our lives are beyond our control and can create a lot of anxiety - the best thing to remember during this time is that you choose what doors you walk through. Just because a door opens for you doesn't mean that you have to take it. Doors closing is another matter but one that we all must live with and learn to accept in one way or another.

The contradiction of fate and free will is omnipresent during events such as these. Certain things are fated to happen to you; it's what you do with these events that dictate the story of your life. Are you at the wheel of your own journey? Are you giving your power away? Do you work to create your reality or do your laissez-faire let it just happen to you? Answer these questions honestly and then consider if that is how you want to live.

Big Daddy Saturn wants you to be aware of the decisions that you are making (and the ones that you are not making). Saturn is the king of responsibility - he shows us where we need to buckle in and work for ourselves in our own lives. He is often greatly maligned but without Saturn, there would be no structure and without structure, nothing would ever get built. Saturn wants you to show up for the things that matter in your life - the things that will move you forward towards your true purpose and personal advancement. Sitting in the sign of Aquarius, he is interested in (re) building the structures of community to create a better future. That's actually quite beneficial if you think about it.

On the other hand, Uranus is the great destroyer - the lightning bolt that fells the mighty tower of "what was". Uranus can be seen to be the spark of life but is also radioactive. Uranus is pure inspiration, devoid of any grounding or reality checks.

Said in that way, you can see why these two planetary giants don't get along very well. They have been at war for almost a year and a half - both stuck in their fixed sign ways. I have been calling this the Irresistible Force Paradox - Saturn is the immovable object and Uranus is the Unstoppable Force.

This event ties in closely with the contradiction of fate and free will of the lunar nodes and it is not by accident that Uranus and the North Node (the node of forward-facing fate) are conjunct in the earthy fixed sign of Taurus. So much has to change environmentally - I don't think that there is one of us paying attention who does not realize now that humans are irrevocably altering the nature of our planet. Uranus in Taurus, aided by the North Node, is the floods, the fires, the hurricanes - all of these bigger-than-life events that are hinting to us tiny humans that we have gone too far - that we have to change something fast before it is too late.

I reference the greater macrocosm of these events because as above, so below - we are seeing this unfold within the microcosm of our own lives. Something that has been stuck - something that has been duct-taped together for too long or held together by lies and falsehoods - is going to start moving. Stay aware of the earthquakes and tsunamis of your own life because it is a message from the universe letting you know that something isn't right.

If "change before you have to" was the theme of 2021, here, a year later, we're deep into the "have to". This full moon will almost inevitably highlight what you have been holding on to for too long. When it does, listen.

This will be personal, there's no way around it. Both of our relationship signs (Venus and Mars) are in aspect to the planet of death and transformation, Pluto. Stagnancy in relationships may be especially anathema during this time. If your Others are demanding freedom during these days, let them be free. Otherwise, they might run and never come back.

I say this with all of the love in my heart: if this happens, let them.

This is the hardest lesson that we as humans have to learn - to let people leave our lives with grace and understanding. Everybody is on their own path and sometimes we get to walk side by side with another human for a while. This is the greatest blessing and we shouldn't let that become a curse where we hold onto that other as if our lives depend on it. When you stifle the growth of an/Other, you stifle your own growth.

In this way, Uranus in Taurus highlights that codependencies are not healthy structures. In this one way, Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus agree - it is to your own self that you must be the most dedicated. It is only when you are most loyal to yourself that you can truly be loyal to an/Other. And it is only when your Others are most loyal to themselves that they can be loyal to you.

These cycles have been demanding that we all step from a place of codependence (or, for some, toxic independence) into a space of interdependence. Where we have such good boundaries between ourselves and the group (Saturn in Aquarius) that we can show up and support the collective while still working on our own goals.

In its immature stage, the Sun in Leo gets lost in the inevitable ego story of all of this and is VERY against the idea of letting others do their own thing. An immature Leo sun type wants to strut around roaring "it's good to be the king" without taking any responsibility for the greater pride at large. But if we've matured through the rough lessons of the last two and a half years, we can be something else - we can enter the mature Leo energy that this grand cross brings up. We can take on the responsibility of being an elder, of having done the work, and we can step up to watch out for the tribe - to protect those that need protection - to watch for the dangers that inevitably arise - to care for the young and the sick.

Leo is the sign of the king of kings - it is the sign in which we all become the ruler of our own lives. (We all have Leo somewhere in our charts by planet or house placement) The question always is: will you be a benevolent ruler or will you be a tyrant?

The choice, in the end, is yours alone.

It's been my practice to encourage you to take it a bit "easy" after a New or Full Moon. I see it as beneficial to give that potent energy some time to settle. So a day where the Sun is at 5° Venus, a Mercury/Gemini ruled degree, sitting down with your favorite book or magazine seems appropriate.

This is an excellent day for feeding the mind and adding some new knowledge. But not just any knowledge, but self-knowledge. What did yesterday's New Moon show you about yourself? How can you "educate" yourself more about yourself? Would a book about courage or self-reliance help? Maybe an article about managing your feelings, or protecting your emotional space. Or would a biography about somehow who refused to live in contradiction to his/her heart be what you need?

As you dive into what the 4° Virgo New Moon revealed to you, don't make the mistake of comparing your life or your circumstances to others. There is an opposition between Venus in Leo and Saturn in Aquarius at 20°, and that could have you getting stuck in blame, shame and recrimination. This is a day for observation, not condemnation.

So grab a good book, and feed not simply your mind, but your heart and emotions. Because the mind needs your heart and emotions just as much as your heart and emotions need your mind.

12H Venus: You Want A Love To Consume You

But your eyes only gives me the sense of reassurance my soul calls for

For starters, I believe having this placement along with a water moon or venus (scorpio, pisces or cancer) especially with the moon or venus aspecting (oppose, square, conjunct) harsh malefics such as Pluto/Neptune maybe even Uranus would create this placement to be more prominent in your romantic life.

Usually, especially with a water moon or (venus) and those planets (especially moon) making aspects would possibly mean that the love your mom or past partnerships gave you perhaps was chaotic or heavy, maybe it was all or nothing, where the love was there then it wasn't (scorpio) or you wanted to fix and be their savior because that was the kind of love you had to give to your parents (pisces) or perhaps take over to give and be the caregiver towards your parents (cancer) (depending on the chart) but now because of that chaos you felt, it's only natural to want to feel so much with only looking into the eyes of another. Because of that love you now search for the same deep transformative experiences. (This could be more of a projection based on my experiences so disregard if need be).

With this placement, you naturally will take on Pisces and Neptune qualities. The love you long for is deep, unworldly, profound even. You want a love to consume you. A love to change you. A love to bring you in a different point of life. A love to be something you never felt before. The kind of love you only can dream about. Something that feels unreal, or untouchable. Something that feels so out of reach yet in your arms. You want to feel their soul and embody a part of them. You want the look in their eyes to bring you a feeling you've ever only fantasized about. You want someone to make you feel different compared to everyone else you've ever came across; and you want a love that is unspoken and spiritual.

That being said, having this placement could manifest in another "illusive" way, like I said the love you want could be eternal and ethereal, but it could also mean falling for the people that aren't attainable or in reach. Falling for the person who will leave, or the person you can't have. You might be 'comfortable' in that position and just accept being the other woman, or you might accept being someone that is hidden from the person you love or give attention to in the outside world. The partners you choose could also be ''ashamed' of you or not feel comfortable with showing you off. Affairs or lies could be a theme (undesirably so), but for you, falling for them seems inevitable or hard to not experience.

In the basis of it all, you tend to fantasize or picture a reality with your chosen crush or lover. You could find yourself feeling so deeply for someone you may not have a deep connection to. You may sit in your feelings instead of acting on them or choose to avoid and suppress these emotions or desires. Wanting someone you know you can't have feels safe, and picturing the ideal reality where you have them seems easier and less frighting. Or you might choose someone who may love you in private, and from past experiences, insecurities and fear, that feels the most 'safe' enough to experience.

This type of pattern may or may not come from being afraid of real intimacy, love and connection. Whether it be because of parents or past partnerships as I previously said, the idea of a real tangible love is out of your comfort zone, something you say you yearn for yet possibly deny (depending on other aspects of your chart). Not accepting that you have insecurities or some fear regarding partnerships will manifest this pattern to keep happening.

(There is a reason why you experience the same pattern and fall for the ones that seem to give you everything you don't truly want. The ones you subconsciously choose can't really love you. Possibly deep down, you might be afraid to accept the true depths of what it can mean to have or to hold someone because you know how deep you can really feel)

Venus represents the ideas of pleasure, joy, desire, lust and love, it being hidden in your 12H, the house of the unseen, your subconscious, your dreams, a part of you that you hide away, the part of you that's not shown to anyone else. It's so prevalent and important yet so hard to even comprehend or logically articulate. It's unspoken feelings and desires.

This usually can indicate that the love you search for would be catalysts for change whether you are aware of it or not. And once you find someone to make you feel this unworldly emotion, you might make yourself fall for them over and over again, rethinking and imagining scenarios where your emotions exceed logic and to the point where that person becomes just a dream. In the extreme part of it, the person your imagining is no longer in front of you, but in your head. Suddenly they now showcase as someone that has their real identity or true colors, hidden.

This part of you creates the idea of letting someone go unrealistic. Saying goodbye hardly happens because in your mind, there's always room for redemption. Especially if you find someone who not only fits the 'ideal' but gives you the ethereal emotion you've only dreamt about.

Because of this, it's important to remember to stay grounded, aware and comfortable with the idea of what can occur. You can't change someone, or fix their wounds. Fall for the one that will accept your undying love, not the one who would rather hide you away and not the one where you don't (or can't) even truly have them. Not everyone will want to feel as deeply as we do, and not everyone will understand the depth of emotion that we can offer, but the right person will.

I have a Sagittarius 12H Venus Sextiling my Neptune with a Scorpio Moon aspecting harshly to my Neptune. These are only my experiences, since this is a short thread I can't type every scenario out, but the basis of it all; this placement can indicate that finding a love to be difficult or unreachable. I hear you, I feel you, and once you are aware and accept the patterns or partners you choose, will you then find the soulful connection you fantasize about.

moon oppose saturn could show how an authority figure could have told you to stop being too emotional so you learned to hold them in to seem more mature. with mars and uranus also opposing the moon their could have been instability, uncertainty, constant change and erratic moon swings coming from the mother and/or living arrangements.

Energy Update: mutable t-square (moon in Pisces square Mercury and Venus in Sag opposed to retrograde Mars in Gemini)

We're coming up on our first big hits to our Mars retrograde cycle this week as Mercury and Venus meet up in Sagittarius to oppose Mars in Gemini. Mercury is about the message, Venus is about what we want, and Mars is about how we get it - notice that the message and what we want are on one side of the opposition and how we get it is on the other. That is a great metaphor for the general energy of this week.

Because 3/5 of our personal planets are involved, this is going to be personal. It may show up in the world at large (I wouldn't be surprised if we hear so more about the lies of the Big Peach - one of America's most famous Geminis - this week). But it will almost inevitably show up in our personal lives - especially in our most stressed relationships.

We just came out of a Gemini-Sag lunar node cycle LAST December and this is going to hit on a lot of the touchy points that were brought up during that time. Gemini and Sagittarius are both mutable signs and concerned, to a greater or lesser degree, with "the truth" versus "the lie". Gemini tends to be more inwardly exploratory - often very focused on looking at every angle to the point that they forget to come to any conclusion. Sagittarius tends to be more outwardly focused and can become a bit of a guru - completely convinced that they have found the one and only truth.

Truth, of course, is somewhere in between. In fact, one can certainly argue that truth wears as many faces as people who perceive it.

Any and all of these things may arise to the surface during this time.

Additionally, tonight through tomorrow, we are also tying in the energy of our first quarter Pisces moon which will form a t-square with Mercury, Venus, and Mars.

Pisces has their own version of the truth. In that, they would rather avoid it altogether, at least in Pisces' immature form. Here we see a conflict between what we want, what we are saying that we want, how we need to go about getting it, and THE LIES THAT WE TELL. In a week where Mercury and Venus opposed Mars is demanding that we fess up to what is really going on, our Piscean moon may have some crying in a corner about how they would rather just be lied to.

That's a mood, surely, but it goes nowhere good.

We've come too far since January 2022 and the conjunction of all of our planets in Capricorn to lie about it now. Lying is backward motion, it keeps us locked in the past. Telling the truth, no matter how difficult, is forward motion.

You may need to pick a side.

In general, retrograde Mars in Gemini is brimming with anger with no good outlet, so expect tempers to be high all week long. If you're prone to emotional dysregulation, now is the time to implement your best care tactics to manage it. If you're sensitive, in general, to the emotions of others; this will be a good week to lie low and protect yourself.

The big flex this week will be to hold space for an/others truth without taking it personally. The big flex this week is to be honest. Sagittarius is one of the braver signs, this is something that we will all have at our disposal in spades but it requires showing up.

All tough aspects between Venus and Mars are said to be break-up weather, but retrograde Mars in Gemini probably isn't decisive enough to be up for the task. Be aware of passive aggressiveness and backhanded slights. A lot of people are going to be really in it; you may have the grace to give them that space, but you may also have a deep realization that enough is enough.

The Mercury-Mars opposition went exact yesterday and the Venus-Mars opposition goes exact tomorrow. Today we are in between them in this rough quarter moon mutable t-square energy. It is worth noting that while Mercury and Venus are conjunct now, they will also conjunct again at the end of December in Capricorn right as Mercury retrogrades for the fourth and final time this year. All of this is a part of the greater cycle of re-evaluation that has been ongoing all year.

Astrology Observations: No.28

*just based on my observations, only take what resonates

(Sorry it’s been a minute, I got my time back then I got sick- like same day! I’m good now, thank god, but it was absolutely insane and everything has been going on in the world, my God)

-If your moon opposes your ascendant you may be known for making the wrong impressions on people (especially first impressions) at some point in your life

-Not the first time I said this but I feel like Libra Asc tend to need to balance out aspects of their life more bc of their houses having the opposite signs over them.

-On the other hand I feel like Aries asc have a very straightforward, sometimes less complicated world view bc of their houses lining up with their traditional rulers.

-Mars in determemt and fall (Libra, cancer, 12th house) really gives you a finite amount of stamina

-I feel like cancer venus/moons tend to wax the most poetically and romantically about the nostalgia they feel. Even stronger for Venus.

-Men with cancer placements be like: I didn’t know I was manipulating you into being nice to me until it was already happening (lmao oof)

-I noticed Aries and Scorpio Sun men/masc folks can get romanticized a lot, I think this is bc their identity is ruled by mars traditionally, so they tend to be assigned more masculine traits/act their traits out in a more “traditionally” (or even just comfortably) masculine way

-Aqua Sun/asc/venus usually have some features that makes their face really stand out I noticed (unique brow/nose/head shape etc) (idk why I haven’t seen this with moons as much)

-Signs in your 8th house may come off as mysterious or hard to understand

-You may find it really easy to vibe with people that have Sun conjunct your Asc

-I’ve noticed that a lot of Virgo mars may eat like really spicy or punishing foods (especially if the mars is in a fire house)

-Saturn aspecting your big 3 can help you age really well- depending on how well you take care of yourself (extreme example: dick van dyke, he’s almost 100 and he’s still jumping around with so much energy)

-Pisces placements can be like incredibly intelligent and yet still come off as a bit spacey (one of my favorite YouTubers used to head extra credits and he is SO SMART, like just a seriously huge capacity for knowledge but he sounds spacey when he does his chill gameplays and pieces things together unscripted lol)

-Jupiter square/opposition Sun can make you come off as overly pessimistic, it can also make you come off as optimistic at the wrong times (laughing at serious moments, etc)

-Taurus placements are so motivated by food, it’s so real (the amount of times I’ve had a Taurus sun/moon/mars not hear a word I was saying bc they were scoping out a restaurant? Countless lol)

-I notice a lot of rappers & musicians (especially the innovative ones) have major Pisces placements

-Aries moons get emotional fulfillment by winning what they chase after (Aries in big 6 tends to make you go after things in general too imo)

-I noticed sometimes Leo moon can make you a bit self centered, like in the most literal sense, you may have trouble understanding perspectives outside of your own

-Virgos and Geminis and 3rd/6th house placements have great memory but they tend to forget certain aspects. They tend to forget or mix up details. (My ex took like 3 years to remember my middle name beyond the first initial lol god; also, I always remember zodiac signs but not birthdays lol)

-I love how Joe Pera has a cancer Mercury and his comedy is like the coziest comedy I’ve ever heard, he even got his following bc his helping people fall asleep and just talking through his chill podcast (did not expect him to have like the most fire in his chart tho?? Wouldn’t have guessed lol)- Pisces Mercury and Mercury with hard aspects to Neptune probably have a cozy affect on others when they communicate with them too
