FIVE RICHEST BILLIONAIRES DOUBLE THEIR WEALTH SINCE 2020 WHILE 5 BILLION ARE MADE POORER

Oxfam International, a British-founded International Charitable organization based in Nairobi, Kenya, says the world's richest people have managed to double their wealth since 2020, as 5 billion people are made poorer as a result of a "decade of division."

Oxfam made the claims in a press release on its recently published report released Monday, January 15th on inequality and global corporate power called "Inequality Inc."

According to Oxfam, the world's richest people have more than doubled their wealth from $405 billion to $869 billion since 2020, a rate equivelent to $14 million per hour, while approximately 5 billion people have been made poorer in the same time period.

"If current trends continue," the statement says, "the world will have its first trillionaire within a decade but poverty won't be eradicated for another 229 years."

Oxfam looks to the Davos gathering of the world's largest corporations, pointing to the valuations of the top ten largest companies, together worth more than $10.2 trillion.

“We’re witnessing the beginnings of a decade of division, with billions of people shouldering the economic shockwaves of pandemic, inflation and war, while billionaires’ fortunes boom. This inequality is no accident; the billionaire class is ensuring corporations deliver more wealth to them at the expense of everyone else,” Oxfam's International interim Executive Director Amitabh Behar is quoted as saying.

“Runaway corporate and monopoly power is an inequality-generating machine: through squeezing workers, dodging tax, privatizing the state, and spurring climate breakdown, corporations are funneling endless wealth to their ultra-rich owners. But they’re also funneling power, undermining our democracies and our rights. No corporation or individual should have this much power over our economies and our lives —to be clear, nobody should have a billion dollars”.

According to Oxfam, Billionaires increased their wealth by $3.3 trillion since 2020, a growth rate three times faster than inflation.

Oxfam adds that, despite representing just 21% of the global population, the countries of the Global North own 69% of global wealth, with Global North countries home to 74% of global billionaire wealth.

Further, the top 1% own 43% of all global financial assets, with billionaires owning 48% of wealth in the Middle East, 50% in Asia, and 47% in Europe.

In addition to overall wealth, 148 of the world's largest corporations raked in $1.8 trillion in total net profits, a 52% increase over the period from 2018-2021.

Corporate windfalls increased to nearly $700 billion, with the report finding that for every $100 in profits made by the top 96 major corporations between July 2022 and June 2023, $82 was paid out to wealthy shareholders.

Oxfam International interim Executive Director Amitabh Behar says that “Monopolies harm innovation and crush workers and smaller businesses. The world hasn’t forgotten how pharma monopolies deprived millions of people of COVID-19 vaccines, creating a racist vaccine apartheid, while minting a new club of billionaires."

The Oxfam press release goes on to point our that people are working harder and for longer, often for poverty wages in unsafe jobs, adding that the wages of nearly 800 million people have not kept up with inflation, losing $1.5 trillion in value over the last two years, the equivalent of nearly a month's lost wages for each individual worker.

Oxfam also found that, of the 1'600 largest companies, less than 0.4% of them are publicly committed to paying employees a living wage.

Oxfam shows how a "war on taxation" by large corporations has pushed the effective tax rates on corporations to fall by a third in recent decades, while relentless privitization of public services like education and water services have expanded massively.

“We have the evidence. We know the history. Public power can rein in runaway corporate power and inequality —shaping the market to be fairer and free from billionaire control. Governments must intervene to break up monopolies, empower workers, tax these massive corporate profits and, crucially, invest in a new era of public goods and services,” said Behar.

“Every corporation has a responsibility to act but very few are. Governments must step up. There is action that lawmakers can learn from, from US anti-monopoly government enforcers suing Amazon in a landmark case, to the European Commission wanting Google to break up its online advertising business, and Africa’s historic fight to reshape international tax rules.”

Oxfam offers three notes on how governments can rectify the situation, including the following:

🔹 Revitalizing the state. A dynamic and effective state is the best bulwark against extreme corporate power. Governments should ensure universal provision of healthcare and education, and explore publicly-delivered goods and public options in sectors from energy to transportation.

🔹 Reining in corporate power, including by breaking up monopolies and democratizing patent rules. This also means legislating for living wages, capping CEO pay, and new taxes on the super-rich and corporations, including permanent wealth and excess profit taxes. Oxfam estimates that a wealth tax on the world’s millionaires and billionaires could generate $1.8 trillion a year.

🔹 Reinventing business. Competitive and profitable businesses don’t have to be shackled by shareholder greed. Democratically-owned businesses better equalize the proceeds of business. If just 10 percent of US businesses were employee-owned, this could double the wealth share of the poorest half of the US population, including doubling the average wealth of Black households.

OL promo for S7 starts on June 1st 2023 at ATX TV Festival in Texas with CB and Maril as the women panel.

4 June S arrived in NYC, the next day he's spotted, first of the many pics and videos you can find in my archive, around the dates between 4 and 13 June and around the events, GMA, Live with Kelly and Mark, The Today Show, HSC/92NY, video and video on YT, and the premiere at Tribeca of which many pics and video's and the panel, including the afterparty at Veronika NYC.

On 10 June he was spotted at the airport in Brussels, returning for filming TCND in the next week. Though no pics from filming, his sm times confirm filming, especially the nightshoots. He recorded a podcast with Alex Z as well from Belgium in this week.

On Sunday 18 June he is seen at a sports event in Ratingen (Germany). He's spotted with GE. The next day, 19 June he's spotted at an airport, even though the fan posting the pic doesn't say what airport, it's pretty obvious it's Düsseldorf International Airport, close to Ratingen. She didn't know where he was heading.

While there's already a pic from the 'TCND-camping' in Malmedy posted on Tuesday 27 June and a fun story on 28 June. Confirmation on 29 June, he's there as well on a video of a chair dance and foam slide with the crew and many pics, videos, footage from all the BTS fun. Footage from the night shoot on Friday 30 June as well, all in Malmedy as a local newspaper article reported.

A fan pic was taken in Brussels on Sunday 2 July, the fan confirming he's hanging around with Eleanor Tomlinson. Monday 3 July seems to be another night shoot and other days of the week as well. Friday 8 July a story of an ice truck on set for the crew and cast, thanking Sam for it, is posted.

As of Monday 10 July, the crew is filming stunt driving near Theux in the Liege region, on Tuesday 11 July S posts a call sheet and some animals in his stories from the Safari park nearby. Joel Morris posts they've wrapped (for their parts)

Though not sure if he's involved in scenes after the post on Tuesday, filming went on and on Friday 14 July was officially wrapped. Our hopes of seeing some glimpse of the wrap party on Friday night got rewarded with some pics and a video.

Already the next day, Saturday 15 July, he's spotted at the airport of Miami by a fan.

On 16 July he was spotted by a fan on the beach at W Hotel South Beach. The story was posted RT but only later on discovered as a post.

On 21 July he posted some pics of a trip to Key West on his IG

Meanwhile the full list of his booze events SS tour was posted

On 23 July, a pic was posted in his stories, showing him and AN, he tagged an event in NOLA. In the next days several pics and videos were posted showing their activities. They stayed until Wednesday 26 July.

Thursday 27 July, the first stop of the SS tour was in Florida, where some thought they need to be there at 4am. Others just found the back entrance and when leaving they practically were in his car. After the signing session, he shows up in the South bar/restaurant Canyon in Ft Lauderdale, the South bar & kitchen in Pompano as well as the YOT Bar&Kitchen apparently doing some pop-up SS events.

The next day, 28 July he's a spot on South Florida Live tv shown at the nbs6 website.

On 30 July he pops up at the Si Si restaurant and resort at the Sunday Brunch as surprise guest serving some cocktails and drinks and apparently got interviewed for the Hamptons Social. He's there with his team and photographer.

On 31 July he's papped in NYC by backgrid in running outfit with AN.

“April 14-19, 1970 The Troubadour, West Hollywood, CA: Peter Tork/Earth Disciples (Tuesday-Sunday) Dion, formerly of Dion and The Belmonts, but by 1970 a singer/songwriter himself, had originally been promoted for this week. Dion dropped out, and was replaced by former Monkee Peter Tork. Tork had left the Monkees in 1968, when they had disintegrated. Tork had originally been an aspiring folk singer, and had returned to that, doing some recording in 1969 that had never been released. By 1970, he was in an only-in-LA circumstance, hugely famous, generally popular but not particularly respected as a singer or performer, since the Monkees were the epitome of ‘plastic.’ No doubt he felt that playing this week at the Troubadour could put on the level of less famous but more ‘serious’ performers. The Nitty Gritty Band had been set to play the Troubadour beginning Thursday, leaving an empty spot for Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Phil Ochs was asked to fill in but he refused to do so unless the club’s owner, Doug Weston also took to the stage. Doug, the club’s founder, had never before appeared there in all the years of the club’s operation but, in an apparent fit of bravado, agreed to Phil’s suggestion. Soon after the set’s beginning, after Phil had sung his ‘Bells’ song and Doug Weston had read ‘The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock,’ members of the audience began filing on stage to sing, rap and swill Doug’s win. (’Dilute it with water!’ he yelled to a waitress.) Alright so I was curious as to when could ZB1/ZeroBaseOne would debut and I went to look for I think all (?) of mnet survival show to have an idea of when we will see them again

Produce 101, season 1 (2016) : 33 days to debut.

Produce 101, season 2 (2017) : 52 days to debut

Produce 48 (2018) : 59 days to debut

Produce X 101 (2019) : 39 days to debut

Girls Planet (2021) : Their debut was supposed to be on December, 14. So it would have been 53 days. However due to a covid case within their staff, their debut was finally on January 3, 2022. So it make it to 73 days.

If we take an average of the supposed/normal debuts (33,52,59,39,53) : mathematically speaking it would make 47,2 days. But I belive it would be more around 50-60 days.

So it would give us a debut date of around :

47,2 days : June 7

50-60 days : June 10 to June 20

If we make an avergae of the real debut (33,52,59,39,73) : so mathematically it would be 51,2 days. More realistically speaking it would be more around 55-65:

"Smallville" actor Allison Mack, who pleaded guilty for her role in a sex-trafficking case linked to the cult-like group NXIVM, has been released from prison early, federal records suggest.

Mack, 40, was released from a federal prison in California on Monday, according to inmate records on the Federal Bureau of Prisons' website.

The bureau of prisons and an attorney who represented Mack did not immediately respond to overnight requests for comment from NBC News.

Mack was sentenced in June 2021 to three years in prison for her role in NXIVM, a purported self-help group that prosecutors said doubled as a secret sex cult.

In 2019, the actor pleaded guilty to various crimes, including extortion and forced labor, when she was a high-ranking member of NXIVM, the upstate New York group led by Keith Raniere, who is serving a 120-year prison sentence.

Under federal sentencing guidelines, Mack would have faced 14 to 17½ years behind bars, but prosecutors argued the actor deserved less time because of her cooperation with investigators.

“She cannot undo what has been done, and she will have to live with the regret for the rest of her life,” Mack’s lawyers said in a previous court filing. “But Ms. Mack still holds the potential to be valuable to society — as a family member, as a friend, as a helper to those in need and as a cautionary tale.”

In the same filing, Mack said she understood the physical and emotional pain she inflicted on cult victims.

“I have experienced overwhelming shame as I have worked to accept and understand all that went on and all that I chose,” Mack wrote.

Devoting “my loyalty, my resources, and, ultimately, my life to” Raniere, she said, “was the biggest mistake and greatest regret of my life.”

“I am sorry to those of you that I brought into NXIVM,” Mack said. “I am sorry I ever exposed you to the nefarious and emotionally abusive schemes of a twisted man. I am sorry that I encouraged you to use your resources to participate in something that was ultimately so ugly.”

Former NXIVM members had told investigators how Raniere had established a secret sorority within the group in which women were kept on starvation diets, branded with his initials and ordered to have sex with him.

Mack was previously best known for her work on “Smallville,” playing Chloe Sullivan, the close friend of a young Clark Kent.

The Colorado Springs shooting, in which a gunman killed five people and wounded more than a dozen at a queer nightclub on November 19, has already been framed as a failure of red flag laws, policies designed to allow law enforcement to disarm people considered a clear risk to themselves or others.

But in this case, it appears a red flag order could have been used against the suspect — and local officials may have chosen not to.

Of 64 counties in the state, El Paso County, home to Colorado Springs, is one of at least 37 counties that have declared themselves a “Second Amendment sanctuary” and openly defied the state’s gun laws. El Paso County’s commissioners did so in response to the state’s proposed red flag law in 2019.

“We’re not going to pursue these on our own,” El Paso County Sheriff Bill Elder said as the law was being debated in the state Legislature, “meaning the Sheriff’s Office is not going to run over and try to get a court order.” Elder has said that the Sheriff’s Office would enforce court orders, but that it wouldn’t pursue petitions on its own, except in some extreme circumstances.

Data suggests that Elder has been true to his word. In Colorado, red flag petitions can be filed by law enforcement, or a family or household member. An analysis of court records by 9News found that, between January 2020, when the law went into effect, and November 2021, just 39 risk protection order petitions were filed in El Paso County, the most populous county in the state, with more than 737,000 residents. Only eight of those petitions — or 21% — were granted.

None of the approved petitions were filed by law enforcement, the 9News analysis shows. Unlike most counties in the state, they were all initiated by family and household members.

“Oftentimes, law enforcement are the people who are coming into contact with individuals who pose a danger to themselves or others,” said Allison Anderman, senior counsel and director of local policy at the Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence. “If they’re not using them, they’re going to be less effective.”

In the case of the Club Q shooting, the suspect — who was charged Monday with multiple murder and hate crimes charges — allegedly threatened in June 2021 to detonate a bomb and harm his mother with “multiple weapons.” He was arrested and charged with multiple felonies, although the charges were later dropped.

The suspect’s history made him an ideal candidate for a gun removal order under a red flag law. Yet he was never subject to one, and legally purchased the two guns he allegedly used in the shooting.

Colorado’s Extreme Risk Protection Orders law is not an automatic process and requires cooperation from local law enforcement and from the community members it aims to protect. Unlike other states that have removed guns from thousands of people deemed dangerous, as in Florida, Colorado’s state courts have issued relatively few risk protection orders.

Under Colorado law, for an order to be granted barring someone from possessing or purchasing firearms, a law enforcement official or agency, or a family or household member, must file a petition in court and show that a person is a risk to themselves or others. A judge can then grant a temporary risk protection order lasting up to 14 days, after which point they can grant a final extreme risk protection order lasting up to one year, though the order can be extended further if warranted.

But, according to its website the El Paso Sheriff’s Office will not petition for a red flag order except in some “exigent circumstances,” or if there is probable cause that a crime has been or will be committed. Elder has said that he believes the law violates the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments.

“It is the policy of the Sheriff’s Office to respect and protect the constitutional rights of all those we serve,” reads a post on its website. “The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office will ensure that the rights of people to be free from unreasonable search and seizures, and to receive due process of law, are safeguarded and maintained.”

By contrast, in less populous Denver County to the north, law enforcement and family filed some 63 petitions, and judges issued a risk protection order in 79% of those cases. Of the 50 orders approved, 47 were filed by law enforcement.

Denver County’s statistics, unlike El Paso County’s, reflect a national trend, according to Anderman: Law enforcement officers and agencies are more likely to file and be granted a red flag petition, she said, in part because family members are often intimidated by the process of going to court, and in at least seven states, only law enforcement officials are allowed to petition for a red flag order.

But leaving the implementation of red flag laws to local, elected law enforcement officials like sheriffs allows politics to interfere. Unlike city or state police, county sheriffs are elected and, according to a national survey, many of them believe that gun laws go too far and, in several cases, have refused to implement them.

“There is a pattern of sheriffs trying to step in and proclaim their authority to both set policy, as well as enforce policy,” said Emily Farris, an associate professor of political science at Texas Christian University. Along with Mirya Holman, of Tulane University and the Marshall Project, Farris surveyed more than 500 sheriffs about their views of their authority. “They themselves feel that they get to interpret whether or not something is constitutional, and what their office is or is not going to do.”

Some states have taken steps to train law enforcement officials and residents on how to file red flag petitions. In New York, where a mass shooting at a supermarket in Buffalo prompted questions about the state’s red flag law, Governor Kathy Hochul ordered State Police to file for red flag orders whenever they have probable cause. The directive, along with a new law passed by the state Legislature requiring all law enforcement agencies to increase their use of red flag orders, led to a substantial increase in red flag petitions.

While Hochul’s order appears to have increased red flag applications among the agencies she can control, it may not affect county sheriffs. Governors can control state police, and city councils can control city police, but sheriffs offices lack that same oversight.

“Sheriffs have really been overlooked in their role in gun control because it’s these kinds of laws, like red flag laws, that either involve law enforcement doing the petition, or rely on law enforcement’s right to enforce the petition,” Farris said. “So you can have this uneven enforcement even within one state because sheriffs are individually asserting themselves. It underscores the importance of paying attention to who your sheriff is. If they choose not to [enforce red flag laws], if they just disagree, there’s very little oversight mechanisms to make them.”

The sheriff in El Paso County is not the only local official who opposed the red flag law. Republican District Attorney Michael Hall, who assumed office in January 2021, took an even tougher stance against the law when campaigning for the office in 2020. “This law is a poor excuse to take people’s guns and is not designed in any way to address real concrete mental health concerns,” he wrote on Facebook in January of that year.

A month later, he went even further, writing that those living in his judicial district “can rest easy” knowing that the District Attorney’s Office “will not participate in ‘red flag’ confiscation.”

And I can argue that in all this time we’ve all been feeling the weight of the world on our shoulders (via so many planets in “transpersonal” signs, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces) - which has been overwhelming, to say the least.

We also have been more focused on ourselves and our individual problems, as planets move through the “personal” signs (Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer).

That’s all going to change during the five days which see Mercury, the Sun, and Ceres enter Leo (in that order). All of a sudden: “Wow! Other people exist! Oh brave new world that hath such people in it!”

This is great news - being balanced is (almost) always a good thing, and we’ve been missing the whole “interpersonal” piece for several months, except sporadically when the Moon is there. I think we’re going to be very excited and eager about it, too - at least to start with.

Summer Sons Sex Week 2022

Hey there fam! I know this isn’t a huge fandom (yet), but I wanted to start a challenge for anyone who wants to dip their toe in writing/drawing/mood boarding/whatever for Summer Sons by Lee Mandelo. This is a challenge I set myself last year for a different fandom and it was a way for me to stretch myself. You can do any pairing and there is no set word count! don't @ me. i know it's better than a lot of other representations. and i'm glad they're not going to bury their gays. but i'm upset that they're also not going to give their gays a chance at on-screen personal development or, ya know, off-screen therapy sessions referred to on-screen while ACTUALLY TALKING to the person they love about ongoing personal or interpersonal issues...

IMO the year skip did malex absolutely zero favors and the warp speed emotional whiplash served up by Alex in s3 is going to haunt them. s3 has almost completely ruined malex for me. and i hate that. i hate it so fucking much. (and if it didn't ruin it for you, i'm glad. i truly am. i want to be there with you, my friend.) i hope in s4 we see some resurgence of issues and them actually working through them onscreen.

these are just some thoughts that keep haunting me. i'm so fucking disappointing in s3 malex it's hard to reconcile myself to working with the characters rn. so. yeah. i guess this might also be my announcement that all ongoing fics are on hiatus until I can find my will to write them again without being irrationally angry at canon.

Major news for Tutorial Library

I’ll try to keep this concise as I tend to get rambly. Tutorial Library has been one of my passion projects for 5-6 years now, and it’s served the community well. Over the years I’ve received plenty of endorsements for the clarity and detail of my tutorials, and because of that I’ve done my best to expand the library and make it more available. Over about the last month, I’ve penned about 15 new tutorials to add to the library, and I realized that the format made things a bit difficult to find. To that end, I decided to make Tutorial Library its own thing (as opposed to a disorganized page on each of my other blogs). I built a whole new blog, and organized the tutorials into pages by category (instead of by skill level). Now that everything is as it should be, I’ve gone live with it. Features: • Divided into pages based on category: InfoTorial/General, Skinning, Clothing Creation, Accessory, Object Creation- Basic, and Object Creation- Advanced. • PDFs can be previewed or downloaded directly from the page. • All tutorials available in English and Spanish. Some are also available in other languages. • About 15 new tutorials have been added • A creator’s resource page- Word templates for translating existing tutorials or writing your own. WASHINGTON — The son of an elderly US citizen recently handed a 16-year, three-month prison sentence by Saudi Arabia for tweeting told The Post he’s outraged at how President Biden and his deputies bungled the case.

“He sold my father for oil, that’s clear to us. Especially when we saw the news last week about how they requested to delay the OPEC [oil production cuts] decision a month [until after the election],” Ibrahim Almadi told The Post on Tuesday.

Biden visited the oil-rich kingdom in July without winning the release of 72-year-old Saad Almadi or even publicly mentioning the case. The elder Almadi was convicted and sentenced Oct. 3 — after the State Department failed to send a representative to observe proceedings.

“Biden just cares about votes. He doesn’t care about my father, he doesn’t care about American citizens,” Ibrahim added. “He got sold for oil, but they didn’t receive the oil. So there is no father, no oil. There’s nothing — there is only shame, that is what the White House has got now.”

Ibrahim Almadi told The Post he was encouraged by the US government to avoid seeking publicity — only to have officials do little to help. His father lived in the US since the 1970s and was detained in November 2021 during a visit to Saudi Arabia to sell property.

Saad Almadi’s lengthy prison sentence, linked to 14 tweets, was first reported Monday night by the Washington Post and follows similarly harsh penalties given to Saudi residents who lack US citizenship — often for criticizing Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, the country’s de facto ruler.

“This is outrageous. A 72-year-old U.S. citizen was sentenced to 16 years in prison and subject to torture in *Saudi Arabia* for years-old tweets he posted while in the United States,” tweeted Sarah McLaughlin of the pro-free speech group the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression.

A State Department official confirmed to Washington Post columnist Josh Rogin that the department failed to alert the US Embassy in Riyadh when the hearing date was changed to Oct. 3 and that “unfortunately, that information wasn’t passed [to the embassy]. That is something we deeply regret.”

The mixup was the latest in a series of stinging snubs experienced by US-based relatives of Almadi and at least three other US citizens, who are not imprisoned currently but are banned from leaving Saudi Arabia.

Biden visited the kingdom in the summer to smooth over relations with bin Salman after US gasoline prices hit all-time average highs of more than $5 per gallon in June.

Biden previously tried to sideline bin Salman over the US intelligence community’s conclusion that he ordered the 2018 operation that killed another Washington Post columnist, Jamal Khashoggi. Although the president exchanged a fist bump with bin Salman, who is widely known by his initials, MBS, Saudi Arabia led the OPEC+ cartel in moving to cut oil production weeks later, embarrassing Biden.

“MBS is just challenging,” Ibrahim Almadi told The Post. “He wants to see how far he can get with Biden. Let’s be honest: If I do something to you and you don’t put boundaries or react, guess what I’m going to do? I’m going to move forward with my abusive actions toward you.”

Before Biden’s trip, the younger Almadi said he called the White House switchboard almost every day from late May to try to speak with Stephanie Hallett, the National Security Council’s acting senior director for the Middle East and North Africa. At one point, a White House phone operator allegedly asked, “Why do you want to talk to someone who doesn’t want to talk to you?”

In August, after Biden’s visit, a State Department official allegedly laughed at Almadi’s complaint that his father, a registered Republican in Florida, would be unable to vote in the Nov. 8 midterm elections.

“I am Democratic myself. I voted for Biden, which is a stupid mistake I did,” Ibrahim said. “My father’s a Republican registered voter. He wants to participate in the coming election. They laughed and said that your father should request a paper ballot.”

If Biden doesn’t consider it his job to help free US citizens held abroad like his father, Almadi added, he should “get the f–k out of the White House.”

Saad Almadi visited his homeland without thinking of his relatively benign tweets commenting on Saudi affairs, his son said.

The offending messages included remarks that officials were unable to protect national borders amid rocket fire from Iran-allied Houthi rebels in Yemen, encouragement of acquiring Lebanese citizenship and agreement with naming a street after Khashoggi.

In contrast with Biden’s handling of Almadi’s case, the president has publicly advocated repeatedly for Russia to release professional basketball player Brittney Griner, who pleaded guilty in July to possessing a small amount of cannabis oil when she was detained at a Moscow airport in February. The administration also recently won the negotiated released of dual US-Venezuelan citizens from Caracas.

Ali al-Ahmed, whose cousin, Dr. Bader al-Ibrahim, is not allowed to leave Saudi Arabia despite facing no criminal charges, also told The Post he’s frustrated with the Biden administration.

“They should not discriminate between Brittney Griner or Saad Almadi or others. If this man was in Russia or Iran or Venezuela, I think [Biden] would have spoken strongly and acted strongly,” said al-Ahmed, a longtime US-based analyst of Saudi affairs and president of the Committee for American Hostages in Saudi Arabia.

“If they can get seven Americans out of Venezuela and raise hell about Griner, this was the easy case,” al-Ahmed said.

The Saudi Embassy in Washington and the White House did not immediately respond to The Post’s requests for comment.

A White House official in July defended the Biden administration’s performance and insisted that Biden privately raised detainee cases during his visit to the kingdom.

“President Biden is aware of the cases of four US citizens subject to travel bans in Saudi Arabia. Members of his team met recently with representatives and family members of individuals in this status,” the official said. “The president also raised their cases with the Saudi government during his recent visit. We will continue to press at the highest levels for these travel bans to be lifted.”

It’s disgusting that somehow we went from getting pissy about how Adam Cole is too skinny to be a wrestler to Eddie Kingston is too fat to be a good wrestler. Both of these guys are phenomenal performers and I’ll proudly say I’m a fan of both.

*I’ll add that Roman Reigns was also recently fat shamed and I’ll say the same thing now that I did when Ro was fat shamed, they all look healthy and that’s all that matters to me as a fan*
