Okay what about a hot orc biker girl? Like big thighs on the motorcycle, soft but firm curves to hold onto, and the pure badassery that would ooze off her with the sexiness of it all

Modern Fantasy Monsters: Party Culture
Satyrs throw the best parties. Hands down going to a satyr’s party means that you’re going to go in for a good time and come out completely plastered but, happy.
Sirens who sing karaoke in a separate room together so they don’t cause chaos with their hypnotic voices. They have singing contest with their friends on who can sing the best song.
Fairies who create enchanting dancing circles. BUT, they make sure that it’s safe for humans and other creatures to join in.
Merfolks doing dumb stunts jumping into the pool. They jump from different heights all landing perfectly in the water. (A human tried to follow their mermaid friend by jumping off the patio and fortunately an orc caught them just in time before they hit the ground)
Werewolf girls looking out for their human friends making packs of safe spaces for women to escape from creepy guys.
Dwarves bringing ALL of the alcohol. But, also being surprisingly  responsible with people who are drinking.
Elves who are usually studious and uptight completely let loose during a party. All of their defenses go down becoming a completely different person. (Next time someone brings up the elf at the party they adamantly  deny that they changed and get pissy when someone brings it up)
Orcs, Satyrs, Dwarves and Ogres all having drinking contest with each other. It’s always fun to see who wins.
Witches and Wizards who brew potions mixing them with alcohol with mixed results.
Demons creating big bonfires with their flames..

Posting possessed boys at late hours.
"The ghostly figure of Liam's body hung, floating above a well. His eyes white disks, almost reflective- a third hovered above his forehead. His hair lifting off of him as if he was underwater, spectral arms moving beside him.
the cackling of hyenas filled the trees. Maybe 15 of them, all about half the size of the trees around them. Black, shadowy canine figures moving between the trees, their bodies an indistinguishable mass; aside from the shine of their eyes and teeth as the blue light cast onto them"

Yes yes we all love the “I’m a horrible monster, stay away from me/turn me back” trope for vampire/werewolf/other folklore monster tales
However, where is the fun monster media? Where are my himbo werewolves and slightly antisocial vampires? Where are the stories of monsters just existing and getting into shenanigans?
Why does it have to be angst all the time?

Hello, my little cabbage...
So, you've been wonderfully prolific this last year, and even better, everything you post is pure gold! But here's the question: what is looming in your files that you want to post for all of our reading pleasures, but you just can't? And why?
Tumblr media
Prolific? Me? 🥰
Tumblr media
I think you mean YOU! ❤️
Something I REALLY wish I could post and I just can't is my modern monsters AU I mentioned ages ago. The reason why is because it is NOWHERE near finished. It will have at least 7 parts because there are 7 men. There are also intersecting plot points that have to be mapped out for continuity purposes. It's a beast. Maybe 2023 will be the year.
What about you? ❤️
Love and thanks! ❤️

Modern Monsters: Cultural Phenomenon's
Demons who find horror movies that have demons in them as comedy movies. Imagine a group of demonic teenagers who walk into a movie theater buying tickets to the latest scary movie having a laugh at it for their portrayal of demons.
Elves who have influenced the fashion culture creating a new wave called Naturecore where it’s a mixture of the modern fashion and nature.
New forms of American football for creatures above 6ft where they brawl out in a sort of rugby style with no padding but, a similar hype like American football.
New forms of sports where wizards and magical beings fight for glory being a sport that’s passed down from the ancient times to today.
Orc writers who have wrote books with sprawling action and amazing adventure breaking the best sellers list and stereotypes.
Fairy and elven streamers who have charity streams every few weeks about saving the trees and forest for the land. They raise thousands of dollars for many “Save the Trees” type charities.
Dwarves who somehow make beards fashionable by having rad styled beards. There is an avid fanbase for beards having a whole communities for them. There is community that happens to have a fair where human men and dwarves show off their beards.
FOOD FAIRS. Large cities having cultural fairs where they have races of all sorts of background come around and share their cultures food. The Orcs stand is always busy and the Fae have to be careful when serving food to customers .
Elves are closeted weebs. They love anime culture for some reason.

Q is for Qailertetang (& Qiqirn) - The beautiful Inuit Goddess who dwells with her partner Sedna, the Goddess of the Sea, at the bottom of the ocean. Sedna's fingers created seals, walruses and whales, and when these animals become distressed due to over hunting her hands hurt, so she sends Qailertetang to check on them. But Qailertetang's love for all creatures often gets her distracted from her job. Like when she sees a Qiqirn, a giant bald dog spirit that causes men and dogs to have fits, but don't worry they're frightened of humans, so it's unlikely you'll ever see one other than on Qailertetang's social media feeds.
Big news for the Modern Monsters Project! I have now created a Kickstarter in preparation for launching the book. This isn't so much me saying it's about to be published, more me reminding myself to hurry up and finish the project sooner than later. But you can sign up now to be the first to know of the book's launch and to access the early bird discount.
