My personal top 10 mind blowing scenes (so far)

(In no particular order)

Marinette: I was almost akumatized.

Ladybug: He has the yo-yo! And that means he has the miraculous!

Hawkmoth: You’ve lost Ladybug! Finally!

Ladybug: I’m ready now. Spots off

Marinette: please. Say something.

I guess now that you know it’s me…

You don’t like me anymore?

Adrien: No! It’s that I just found out that one of my closest friends is the person I love and admire most in the world!

Master Fu: Ladybug!

You are the best miraculous holder I’ve ever met!

You hold all the keys Ladybug. You always have.

And you will be the most magnificent of guardians!

Hawkmoth: What?!

Master Fu: I Wang Fu, hereby relinquish the miracle box and name Ladybug the new guardian

Viperion: Ma— Marinette?!

Adrien: I believe… I think I’m in love!

Marinette: I think I’m falling in love!

Just the fact that Marichat won the love square first

Yeah, so, take a look at this.

In case you didn't know, this is from Cat Blanc. And if you didn't know, this scene is where LB left the gift to Adrien which lead to him knowing her identity.

Notice anything different?

Notice anything out of place?

Let me tell you: The scene where Ladybug sniffing and laying on Adrien's bed is not there.

It was not in the original version. They had no intention of adding it. Yet they chose to add it last second for absolutely no good reason at all!

I honestly don't know what's worse: that they planned to add such disgusting scene, or that its something they came up with on the spot.

Hear me out:

Zoe shouldn't exist. They should have given the Bee Miraculous to Rose or Aurore. Perfect patch up. No need for a last-minute self insert character.

It's the bad fanfic writing that gets me guys.

I hear Zoe is finally becoming her own character, tho. Good for her. Good for you, Zoe stans. Just wish she wasn't a last-minute insert made out of spite.

But if you really want Zoe to be a thing...

I wish she was introduced in like the end of season 2 right after Queen Wasp. Cut out that scene where Marinette reunites someone with their toxic family member.

Zoe shows up after Malediktator, giving Chloe more reason to feel unloved, stopping Chloe's kindness in its tracks, leaving her hurt and in pain, her desperation for attention made more clear, highlighting her Descent into Madness.

Zoe could actually genuinely try to connect with her in season 3 because Zoe at least has her own dad in America who raised her right, unlike Andre. Then show us a confused Chloe who rages out and hates Zoe for seemingly taking mom away from her all these years.

Little does she know that Audrey doesn't really care about either of them.

This is how we get Miracle Queen. Chloe actively asking for Hawkmoth to make her "exceptional" for her mom since Ladybug seems to have abandoned her, too. (Marinette notices her being difficult instead of Marinette just being jealous of Kagami like in canon) Audrey, of course, after being de-akumatized, looks the other way.

Then, in season 4, we have Lila manipulate Chloe like in Miraculer, only different. Chloe would be the one Gabriel assigned to look out for Adrien at school while he assigns Lila to "look out for him" during modeling.

Lila manipulates Chloe out of the way, which Gabriel knew Lila would do. Chloe, meanwhile, is losing Adrien in her grief and rage. Sabrina is losing Chloe to the stress of Lila's schemes to get Chloe alone and vulnerable through rumors, which isn't hard because of Chloe's past bullying. (What's that? Believable manipulation?)

But Zoe is still there, and she sees, so Sabrina goes to her. But when they confront her, Chloe sees it as a betrayal. She thinks she's lost Sabrina to Zoe like she lost her mom. So she curses them both. And who does she have left other than Uncle Gabriel.

Chloe has become a proper pawn in Lila and Gabriel's game. A sad, miserable, vindictive little pawn.

A solid tragic character. Chloe the Sympathetic Villain. (Unlike Gabriel, who we all seem to agree is a stupid asshat). Now, what will become of her?

Isn't that so much better?

I think Season 3 should've ended with Chloe becoming an antihero instead of a full-on villain. That way, she can keep being a brat while also having nicer aspects of her personality.

You wanna know something funny I realized.

Marinette treats Luka the exact same way salters complain she is being treated by Adrien.

Luka does everything for Marinette, always puts her first, never calls her out on her shortcomings, and pretty much worships her. And Marinette responds by taking Luka for granted, stringing him along, and basically only using him as a backup in case it doesn’t work out with her first choice, all while chasing someone who is seemingly unattainable and uninterested in ways that are extremely unhealthy and rather possessive and border on sexual harassment.

Which is basically the same way the fandom claims that Adrien treats Marinette.

And somehow, Lukanette is healthier?

I’ve seen some people say “Well, Ms. Bustier’s class has met a lot of famous people, even some of their classmates are celebrities, so the things that Lila said wouldn’t really seem like too much of a stretch.” and you know what? Fair enough.

When you take into account everything that these kids have seen and all of the celebrities that they’ve met, it’s not entirely unbelievable that Lila would’ve too.

However, even if you do get past the absurd idea that they would all believe every single thing she says. Even to the extent of believing her word over everyone else’s, including Marinette’s, who is arguably the most well meaning student in the entire class despite her own issues. That still leaves one problem:

If they really are just kind of used to it by now, to the point where they believe these things without question. Then why are they so enthralled by everything Lila says?

Yeah it’s still cool, but they’re all constantly surrounding her and hanging on to her every word as though the very concept of someone knowing this many famous people is just absolutely mind blowing to them.

Ultimately, it doesn’t really matter and I’m just getting upset over something that happened a long time ago. But I just wanted to get this off my chest.

This show is going to be the death of me.

Anyway, happy 4 year anniversary of Chameleon being released.

Obviously we know that the writers project their problems onto Chloé, and that’s ultimately the reason why she was replaced last minute by Zoé. But both girls are such wasted potential, and if the show was written by competent writers we could’ve had a really good arc for them both. Ig this post will be my unofficial character rewrite post for the both of them.

Some of these ideas probably wont stick, especially with the ones with Zoé since a lot of them are in service to other characters. But ig this is my first draft.

I’d keep Chloé roughly the same in Season 1, she and Adrien are still close, her “friendship” with Sabrina and her admiration for Ladybug are still there. But I would probably change the way she bullies Marinette and have it done more secretly, especially after how Soqueline broke her phone last time she did it publicly. (She’s lowkey important now btw) And I’d also make her friendship with Mrs Bustier more important to her character.

There’d be moments in Season 1 that hint at a future one; but her arc would only properly start in Season 2 with the introduction of Audrey. Chloé would begin showing her vulnerable side, wanting to be seen as exceptional by her mother. She would be given the Bee Miraculous like how she gets it in the show, and would ultimately reveal her identity to prove her exceptionalism to her. Marinette would still lend her the Bee due to necessity, but the public identity rule would definitely be enforced with her and others afterwards.

Where I’d change her arc in Season 2, the changes would mostly lie with her views on her mother. She would first seek her approval whenever possible, but I’d have her realise that she would never be enough for Audrey and would stop caring about getting approval from her. I feel she would definitely start seeing Mrs Bustier more like a mother figure than Audrey too but idk. This would be around the same time Lila starts taking her place as a villain.

Season 3 would come the arrival of Zoé because I feel Season 4 is too late. Zoé would move to Paris after Audrey decides to live there permanently; and where Chloé wanted to be more close with Audrey, Zoé would want to be more close with André. In this choice, I’d want to emphasis how bad both the Bourgeois parents are in terms of parenting; and how the two sisters learn from eachother and bond over their shared experience. I imagine at the start they’re relationship is strained.

In this rewrite, I will have Zoé be the permanent Bee holder. But to make up for this. I’d have Chloé be the one to give her the Miraculous instead of Ladybug. And Idk the exact word for this, but I’d also make her almost a supplier/rich supporter(?) where she has her dad make this giant superhero base for the team where they can train, does that make sense? After that, I’d have Chloé properly better her relationships with Sabrina, Marinette, and Soqueline and Alya maybe.

Anything after Season 3, I can’t think of much when it comes to Chloé. Maybe I’d have her in Season 4 develop new relationships with other characters like Luka and Kagami for example. And with Zoé I’d have her slowly start to become more confident in herself and her abilities, kind of like a mirror to S1 Marinette. Zoé might still have a crush on her too, but I’m kinda conflicted on it since I imagine she’d be a protégé to Ladybug in this rewrite. But maybe it could still work idk.

This rewrite would end at Season 5, and I’d have it that the entire team would stop Monarch instead of just Bug Noire. This would include Marinette/Ladybug, Adrien/Cat Noir, Alya/Rena Rouge, Nino/Carapace, Zoé/Honeybee (because I don’t care for Vesperia), Kagami/Ryuko, and Luka/Viperion
