It’s the very end of M.E/CFS Awareness week and Mental Health Awareness Week. I mean technically it’s gone cause it’s past midnight in the UK but still.
I’ve spent all day fighting nausea and now I’m up late dealing with sickness when I wanna fast asleep.
These last few days have really made my mental health take a dip again, with the fact that my health seems to improve a little for a few days, maybe a week, and then dip again instead of continuing on that upward trajectory. I’m worried now that I’m never going to be back to how I was last year when I could get up late morning and shower on the days I needed one, and go for walks on all the other days. When I could actually leave the house and drive myself too instead of having to have someone else drive me. I can’t even get to see my therapist at the moment and I find it very difficult and awkward having a therapy appointment on the phone, so that’s making it harder to deal with right now. I’m finding that physical health and mental health often go hand in hand. Of course you can have one without the other, but I feel like it must be rarer to have bad physical health alone rather than just bad mental health alone.
Either way, both things suck and life can fuck off at the moment cause I’m done.

Mental Health Awareness Week
Depression, anxiety, and panic attacks are not signs of weakness; they are signs of having tried to remain strong for too long. Did you know that one in three of us go through this at some point in our lives?
Society has taught us that being kind to ourselves involves ingesting something harmful into our bodies such as alcohol or sugar, which will only make us feel worse later. But what if…
