Summary: You were no stranger to isekai bullshit. It’s not like you had a problem with it. The genre took over the anime scene for years now but you try to stay away from thinking about how you would handle the situation. A few days later was the day Kunikida had a very important schedule to uphold. Everyone was left to their own devices and it was a nice change of pace compared to the past few weeks. Kunikida had left a few minutes ago while Ranpo was still complaining about the lack of snacks. You had mostly finished up your tasks for the day and were acting like you were still busy so Ranpo wouldn't bother you. It's been weeks since you were relieved of your snack fetching duties but you could feel him practically directing all of his grievances at you specifically. There were other people in the office. Why did it always have to be you who gets the snacks? Aside from Kunikida and Yosano, everyone else was here. You observe Dazai as he agonizes over not being able to ruin Kunikida's day yet. You still don't know what the hell happened the other night.

All you know is that Ranpo made a suggestive comment about it which didn't help you piece anything together. Dazai had been acting weirder than normal too. It's like he was having more mood swings than usual and you’re not sure how much of it is an act. You are also not the only one who's noticed the brunette’s weird behavior, even Atsushi said something about it. Although he thought you and Dazai had an argument because apparently the brunette would tense up at the mention of your name. Even more puzzling was that the moment you were left alone with Dazai he would act one of two ways. One being that he would reluctantly cling to your side, hovering over you like he was expecting or waiting for you to do something or two he would scoff and make some excuse, no matter how stupid, to disappear. Like he actually made it a point to tell you instead of just leaving like he has in the past. Almost like he was reasoning more with himself then having the goal be informing you of his absences. As much as it was intriguing it was almost hard to watch but you didn’t want to ask him about it because who knows what can of worms that will open and you weren’t ready.

Speaking of can of worms, Ranpo has been calling your name trying to get your attention. You slammed your hands on the desk standing up to look at your senpai. "Okay I get it, what snacks do you want?"

"Chips, pocky, ramune and you know what it feels like a melon pan kind of a day!" He smiles wide, kicking his feet up on his desk. Cocky bastard.

You rolled your eyes "So the works then got it," you looked at Dazai who was still moping. "Anyone else need me to pick up anything?" The room filled with a chorus of "No"'s as you grabbed your wallet and made your way out the door. The agency would reimburse you for Ranpo’s snack habits later.

Dazai watched you leave. It's been infuriating that you refused to ask about that night and seemed to brush it off like it didn't matter. So much for that confession of yours. He was aware that, yes, technically he wasn't supposed to know that. He promised you he wouldn't tell, but you told him yourself. He can't get over the fact you haven't picked up his bitterness on the subject or that you are blatantly ignoring it all together. He doesn't understand what your play is and moreover he can't get over the irrational thought of wanting to touch you. It has been driving him insane. He doesn’t get these kinds of impulses but since you shared your feelings with him he wants to be close to you in any way you’ll have him. You were also the one who saw through and called him out on his bullshit, not many could do that so why has that stopped? Is it because you need to see his palm again? Did the alcohol mess with your talent that badly? All he has is more questions and really no way of getting answers out of you unless he talks to you like a normal person. Dazai was by no means a normal person and what was the point if he wasn't supposed to know this information to begin with. If it was anyone else he wouldn't care about the confrontation or lack thereof but he does now and he hates it.

The sound of an incoming text rang out through the office. He looked over at your desk. It was your phone, you forgot it since you stormed off. He sighed, reaching for it. You would be back soon but he was bored and all of his attempts to shake up Kunikida weren’t working either. Was he losing his touch? If he sent Kunikida a message from your phone he would probably have a better chance at fooling the blonde. When he opened up the messenger he nearly dropped the phone as he read who the incoming text was from.

Dazai gripped the phone tightly, his knuckles turning white. Why was Chuuya messaging you and what was with that contact photo! You were both naked in bed. You looked like an ethereal being while the smug redhead was holding you like he owned you, giving Dazai eyes that were taunting him. It made his blood boil. Was this why you didn’t care to find out about that night? Was this all really just a game to you and how could you betray him with Chuuya of all people! Dazai grit his teeth. Realistically he shouldn't care so why does he feel like this? He knows how demented his line of thought was but for the first time he let his jealousy cloud his judgment. You guys weren't exclusive, heck you guys weren't even anything to begin with. Just two coworkers who sometimes hung out outside of work but still he felt it was a low blow. He needs to stop his train of thought before he does something he'll regret. His emotions were already festering by the time you finally made it back to the office. He felt that itch again, the sudden urge to touch you. Why? He didn't understand it at all.

You dropped the bag of snacks on Ranpo's desk hoping that the ramune crushed a bunch of chips. This is the last time you’d be going on his snack run or else you were going to- you know what you don’t know what you could do as a counter. Ranpo kind of has you by the balls since he knows your secret. You deflated once you realized that he could actually make your life a living hell if he wanted. “Enjoy.” you sigh slouching as you turn around colliding with someone as you were grabbed by the arm and hastily pulled into the infirmary. 

Dazai had dragged you across the office without a word. It was unsettling for the others to witness. Atsushi was concerned he'd never seen such a grim expression on Dazai before. Could it be because he failed at tricking Kunikida and he needed to take it out on someone else? "Shouldn't we stop them?" He asked warily but no one made a move. Everyone continued on like this was an everyday occurrence.

Ranpo only kicked back further into his chair, opening the bag of chips "Leave 'em. You might get scarred for life if you try to intervene." Ranpo rolled his eyes. This is what you get for playing with fire. Although he doesn't exactly know what Dazai saw on your phone, he does know that the two of you were a ticking time bomb and have been the whole week since the fall of the guild. He only hopes you know what you’re doing because babysitting you was not his job unless you were getting him more snacks.

As soon as the door locked, Dazai pushed you against the wall, easily pinning your wrist so you couldn't escape. His tone was dark. It would have made you shake with terror if it wasn't so hot. Right now, the position you were in, was a sexual fantasy of yours for sure.

Technically it's what he was doing right now so you guess he did get there eventually but still you were mildly flustered and enraged with the delivery.

Dazai was silently scanning your eyes. You weren't lying to him. His fingers were digging into your wrist and your heart rate remained the same. Your eyes were clear and there were no obvious tells that your statement was false. He fucked up. He was wrong. He knew he was from the start but the impulses were too much for the rational part of his brain to stop while he was ahead. This is why he distanced himself. He wasn't capable of having nice things. He's spent so long waiting for the other shoe to drop he can't even trust that things could be different this time. As he loosened his grip on you the words cascaded from his mouth. "Then why did you sleep with Chuuya?" It shouldn't hurt him but it made his heart clench just the same. Dazai has had his fair share of one night stands. Sometimes it was nice to feel a human connection with another person. It should be no different but this was you. When did you become so important to him?

Your eyes widened in shock. He saw the photo. The trap you had set up weeks ago. Dazai was jealous, it worked. That's why he'd been acting weird. How long has he kept this to himself? Was that why he wanted you to ask about that night and the things you don't remember? Before you could register your actions your body moved on its own to close the distance between you with a tender kiss. Caressing his face you looked him in the eyes. Dazai needed space while he figured out what was going on in his head. Isolation was the only thing he knew that would bring him said clarity. He doesn’t regret his word choice but he also doesn’t think hate was the right word for it. He was irritated for sure but he didn’t exactly hate you. He definitely hated the situation though. The brunette was still wondering how you managed to get under his skin like this. Now that he wasn’t in the same room as you he understands the train of thought behind the picture and how Chuuya’s involvement led to the prank. It was partially his fault you even met to begin with. This also answered his questions about the redhead after the encounter. Looking back this must be how the others feel when he pulls one over on them. It was not a pleasant feeling.

 The room spun around you in a blur. It took you longer than you would have preferred to get yourself together and rush out of the infirmary. All the others pretended to mind their own business but you didn’t see Dazai so he probably bailed out of the office. You had to fix this before it was too late. Although something in the back of your mind wasn’t adding up. Why now? If he knew about the picture since that night why was it only today that he brought it up in a blind furry? There had to have been something to trigger this reaction. You don’t bother making an excuse to leave the office but you do grab your phone from Dazai’s desk. It didn’t click until you were halfway down the stairs that you had left your phone on your desk so how did it end up on Dazai’s. You frantically checked your messages and sure enough there was one from Chuuya. You frowned as you messaged him back blatantly lying about the other’s reaction to the prank. On one hand it did work as intended but how did it end up like this?

He likes to drive the scenic routes and show you all the lesser known beaches, forests, parks, vineyards, etc. The lesser known the better, so he has the privacy he needs to mercilessly fuck you into the back of his car. He apologized for your first time with him being on top of the back of an uncomfortable car but he just couldn’t help himself. You looked so good with the nice outfit you were wearing!

He’s very athletic so likes to pick you up against the wall as he’s fucking you. He’s all about hard and fast. “But… you know I can’t stay. I have to go home.” You whimpered.

He took a firm grip on your shoulders and made intense eye contact.

“Oh Y/N… perhaps you're not really understanding the situation. Allow me to say this in a language you understand: You’re not leaving me or the country..”he spoke in your mother tongue and he did it perfectly.

You can tell he’s mad, and you don’t want him to get worse. He’s a part of Passione, you know this. You’re not dumb! Now’s the time to do what you do best, be obedient and do what he says. After all, Ghiaccio knows best.

Once you accept your fate that you’re stuck here with him: it’s till death do you part. But don’t worry he still treats you as if nothing happened. Just as long as you don’t mention anything about it ☠️ or you’ll end up in the chilly basement for a few days. But it hurts him just as much as hurts you! He loves holding onto you at night as he’s drifting asleep. He’d never lay a hand on you, he just wants to make sure you never ever leave him.

yourinstagram Before people ask (no, my baby brain didn’t forget it before I hit the post button, nope): I’m fine, the baby is fine. I started to have some nasty Braxton Hicks contractions, which is entirely normal in this term and state of pregnancy, but the last few were pretty tough and kinda severe. That’s why my midwife (a literal angel) and my gynecologist suggested bed rest for the next couple of days, just to be on the safe side. And I’m all for safe sides. They’re cool as hell.

Nobody on his team knows which city he really comes from. To be precise, nobody on his team knows his full backstory.

One thing is for sure, though: Melone was born and raised in Tuscany.

Why are his teammate so sure about him being Tuscan?

Easy. When Melone speaks, everyone can hear the infamous "Gorgia Toscana" ( Tuscan throat).

The "Gorgia Toscana" is a phonetic phenomenon governed by a complex of allophonic  rules characteristic of the Tuscan dialects.

The gorgia affects the voiceless stops /k/ /t/ and /p/, which are pronounced as fricative consonants in post-vocalic position (when not blocked by the competing phenomenon of syntactic gemination): /k/ → [h] ; /t/ → [θ] ; /p/ → [ɸ]

E.g "Coca cola" → "koʊkə ˈkoʊlə" becomes " hoʊkə ˈhoʊlə".

Melone speaks using different kinds of Tuscan dialects.

Sometimes people think He's Fiorentino (Florence) by the way he flirts with girls. However, the lavender man also uses the 'boia deh, bimbi' when he feels in a 'ganzo' (cool) mood, which is part of Livorno's dialect.

Most of the time, he speaks like someone from Siena. That's why his friends tease him by saying he's from 'Poggistronzi' instead of 'Poggibonsi'.

Ghiaccio directly calls him 'Pisano di merda.', which is the worst thing you can say to someone from Tuscany (who wasn't born in Pisa of course).

According to Illuso's latest gossip, Melone was born in Pisa and does everything he can to hide it. Illuso heard him saying the expressions "ninì" and "nina" a thousand times, which are commonly used in Pisa.

Is he a communist or just Tuscan?

Melone occasionally salutes his teammates by raising his fist while saying "'hompagni" (comrades). He's 100% goliardic when he does that.

Melone puts some blasphemies here and there when he speaks, but they are NOTHING compared to Ghiaccio's.

Ghiaccio was born in Vicenza, but his mother is from Verona.

A little otome-like adventure for @ayato-kisser in the frame of @favonius-library gift exchange event ;3.

Sakura petals danced around you, cheering along with your team to the success of the last book. Your watercolors and pencils skillfully peppered the pages, and you preened under Lady Yae's proud gaze, who waved you all off, to rest and have fun.

O-hanami in full swing whirled in Hanamizaka, and you were quite eager to finally have a taste of the festival. Where do you want to go first?

1) Check the food stall 🍡.

"Isn't it the person of the hour!" your childhood friend's, Heizou's, voice greeted you among fried shrimps, candied melons, and dango of all colors. "Enjoying your freedom from the spotlight?" he chuckled.

He nodded toward the improvised scene, where the writer kept bowing and thanking the seemingly endless stream of fans.

"You could certainly say so!" you laughed, joyous. "And you aren't on a case either. Rare!"

"Oh, could I not afford a tiny bit of rest?" Heizou raised his hand to his forehead, picking up on your dramatics. "You wound me, merciless, merciless companion..."

You exchanged glances and burst into laughter, so needed after tense days of work.

"Seriously, though," he continued a few minutes later, after you picked up a small arrangement of treats, "I just have a lead that I wanted some help about," you noticed how the strain returned to his smile, "and I heard he should be nearby. But that doesn't mean," Heizou nudged you before you could comment anything, "that I can't divulge some time to you! Bet I'm still better at catching fair's fish?"

What would you do?

2) Take Heizou up on his challenge 🎯.

"Bet I'm still better at hoops?" you quipped right back.

Giggling and lightly pushing each other, you made your way to the game corner...

Where, of course, a dart game caught your eye. It had no reason to be so colorful!

And require good aim as much as hoops did.

"What do you want me to win?" you winked at Heizou, confident in your abilities.

"Hm..." he tapped his chin, smirking. Two could play this game. "A plushie of your choice," his gaze laughed, as between the pair of you you were the one to favor those, "and I have something in mind for later".

"Later, you say?" you narrowed your eyes at him. "I better give my all, then!"

Now determined, you focused your efforts on striking as many balloons as you physically could, not noticing how Heizou's gaze wandered around the fair, searching.

But you did feel his arms snaking around you just as the shout of triumph left your throat.

"Nice job," he whispered in your shoulder. You felt how he forced trembles down, and the smile didn't reach his voice. A soft deer plushie the stall owner pushed at you awkwardly hang on your forearm. "Mind if I step away for a bit? I think I saw..."

And he needed a breath, you understood.

"Feel free to do whatever, 'kay?" he reluctantly let you go, his smile in place but not fooling you one bit. Yet, you knew that he'll be alright.

What are you going to do?

4) Keep Heizou company 🌊.

You whirled around and caught his hand, intertwining your fingers together.

Seeing him mope made your own uncertain sadness, held at bay by the fair's liveliness, rise, and who wanted that?

Not you, that's who.

His evident surprise warmed your heart, and you winked:

"Did you think your favorite companion would leave you?"

You tugged him to the shadow beyond colorful tents, hoping that your blush will become less noticeable there.

Repetition of the ocean waves soothed both of your fraying nerves, and Heizou leaned into you, laying his head on your shoulder once more.

"Eh, I am a mood downer today, am I not?" he mirthlessly chuckled.

You pinched his forearm, threateningly raising a hard-won plushie in a smacking gesture:

"Nu-uh, mister I-will-unearth-decade-long-mysteries, you are not getting such titles from me. Everyone needs a break once in a while. Besides," you lightly pushed him with your hip, "the moon over the sea is the most delightful".

A spark returned to his eyes:

"You are the most delightful".

"Flattery won't get you anywhere," you bit back, nonetheless confident you are as red as a tomato by now. And Heizou, no doubt, saw that clearly.

"Won't it?" he teased, grinning.

"Brat," you muttered with a flustered smile, returning your gaze to the waves.

Heizou let you, squeezing your side closer to himself, whispers of water the only sound between you now...

After some time, Heizou tapped your nose:

"Hey, sleepyhead, didn't you want to find trinkets for the folks back home?"

Mindreader, you thought to yourself.

What do you want to do?

4) Relish in nature 🌊.

"E-e-eh, they'll survive," you whined, "stars are far more attractive right now".

Heizou chortled:

"You would regret that decision tomorrow, dummy. Wait here, then".

And was it the atmosphere of the holiday or your sweet pouty look, but Heizou leaned into you to leave a small, but unmistakable kiss on your lips - only to disappear in the people's sea a mere second later, your dazed gaze following his steps.

You didn't notice how a tall figure in resplendent white froze on the edge of the crowd and quietly retreated back.

Left alone, you turned your eyes to the sky, winking at you through twinkling stars' dots.

Would've you thought even a year back that a brat you smacked with naku weed stems would grow into someone you would love?

Oh, love, such a fickle thing.

...didn't Lady Yae comment on how inspired you lately were? And you could swear it was always the places that reminded you of him.

You mushed your face in the plushie.

However embarrassed, you could not wait for tomorrow, and the day after that, and the whole life before you.

"Didn't make you wait for long, did I?" his breathy chuckle tickled your ear.

I'm humbly requesting something for our melon man Melone. Say he made reader mad about something but didn't apologize cause he thinks he's in the right. So they leave the house they live in together and he figures they'll just come back the next day after cooling down. But they don't. And not for probably another 3-4 days either. They were just THAT upset because the subject was something sensitive to them and he offended them. They needed that time away. But then happens that downward spiral in situations like this as the days go on. They haven't texted + called him and he can't use Babyface because he doesn't have the proper kind of sample he needs. So he's left wondering if they're okay. They come back of course, this isn't some run away from home or kidnap thing;;; just a real bad spat where Mel was a dumb dumb. I'm sorry if I was too specific with this chdjwndkchd. a character x reader as you can see, female reader. If you could have it be a one-shot that'd be nice 👉👈. But if you're more comfortable/prefer to do headcanons I don't mind those either

Silence. That’s all Melone’s gotten for the past few days. The house you two share has become a place of loneliness. The thoughts in his head are loud and they don’t show any sign of quieting down anytime soon. All Melone can focus on was the argument the two of you had the last time he saw you - he was just too stubborn to admit he had been wrong so he just kept going on and on. He wasn’t used to apologizing, but, he was still getting used to the fact that he couldn’t just be selfish anymore. A relationship required the work of two people - and when Melone got in one of those moods it made it difficult for the relationship to work. 

He understood why you left - he understood if he’d never hear from you again. Still, he wanted to at least tell you sorry. There was a lump in his throat when he began to think the worst - what if he something bad had happened to you? It would all be his fault. He wasn’t there to protect you - he promised he’d always be there to protect you. What had he done? Melone didn’t want to continue to allow his thoughts to go to dark places. You knew how to take care of yourself - if anything, he’d like to believe that maybe you went to a friend’s place to cool off. At least he hoped so. 

Melone stared at the wall - he wasn’t sure how much time had passed. It all felt just like one long day. He replayed the scene over and over again in his head of the last conversation you two had together. Would that be the last time he saw you? He could hear his pulse, or the way his chest began to feel heavy when he thought too much - the look on your face hurt him when he realized just how much he had hurt you. He replayed the conversation in his head and let the scene play out differently this time. In his head, he had apologized to you and held you closer instead of trying to push you away. He was sorry - God, he was so sorry. He just wanted you back and it seemed like maybe this was it now. This was the end. 

He had finally grown tired of staring at the wall - his body felt heavy. When was the last time he slept? His eyes felt sore, his throat was dry, and his stomach hurt. He hadn’t been taking care of himself these past few days. Melone finally rested his head down on table - exhaustion seemed to have finally caught up with him. There was no point in waiting for someone who might never even show up again. This was his fault - he deserved this. Maybe if he just closed his eyes, even for a little bit, he could just allow time to pass him by. Maybe in time he could try to begin to feel better about the mistakes he had made.

The door eventually opened - but Melone didn’t bother to lift his head. He was sure at this point he was hallucinating maybe, but it wasn’t worth checking out if he was just going to be met with disappointment.

But, Melone wasn’t hallucinating - it was you. You finally thought it over, and after giving yourself some time to yourself you were ready to talk things out with Melone. You found him resting his head down on the table. From where you stood, you weren’t sure if he had been asleep or not, so you were quiet when you approached the table. It wasn’t until you pulled the chair out that the slight scraping of the chair leg against the floor made Melone lift his head up. 

He wasn’t dreaming. You came back. You really came back.

The numbness that Melone had been starting to feel had immediately gone away and he was hit full force with all of these feelings. His eyes were now filled with tears - you came back. 

“I thought I lost you...” he was finally able to muster up some words. It seemed he had still been staring at you in disbelief.

You nodded, and reached for his hand across the table to hold it. “I just needed to cool off.”

“No. I know. But... Are you sure you want to forgive me? I said some pretty fucked up things. I... I’m sorry. I’m still getting used to these things. To us. I mean, I’m happy to be with you but I’m usually not the type to be in a relationship and I... Shit. I am so sorry. I don’t want to upset you ever again.” Melone didn’t want to look at you - he felt like he had no right to look at you or to ask for forgiveness. 

You thought otherwise though - you gently cupped his cheeks and kissed him on the lips. 

“Relationships aren’t all sunshines and rainbows. Stuff like this happens, but I don’t want to give up. We’re learning... Together. We’ll get through this. I know we can.” 

Your response touched Melone. You really were too good to be true. Melone didn’t think he deserved you, all he could do was to allow himself to break down in tears. For someone who had kept himself so guarded, he finally allowed his walls to come down because of you.

Travel Blog - Büsum (North Sea)

15.-17. September 2023

I decided to write a little travel blog about my trip to Büsum as well C:

Overall I want to cherish the memories I made more, photos are great and all but thoughts count too. Polished cam photos will follow later on, for the blog I will keep it to phone pics <3

15th September - 1. Day

The little weekend trip to Büsum was my birthday present from my parents for this year. I went with my Mom. Last year we went to Cuxhaven for 4 days but it was a bit too long for my taste.

I got the friday off in exchange of not getting the Bookfair Friday, therefore we planned it later on. We went to Büsum a few times already, last time it was in the high of the pandemic, you still can see some leftovers from the time. But it's nice to see the city lively again.

We stayed in a hotel very close to the harbour. It's run by a family of alternative folks, they are all tattooed, pierced, have dyed hair and are super open to everyone who is different, I love that. We also found out there was a tattoo convention that weekend and a lot of artists stayed in our hotel.

My very wish was to eat at a specific pancake restaurant but it closed down last year, we decided to visit the replacement restaurant and I have to say... it became our favorite one to eat at over the days. And I loved their menu of teas, heck, so many teas.

We had a Kaiserschmarrn with Blueberry compot in the "style" of the former owner. Then we walked a bit around the city and the beach area, flood was there therefore we couldn't get into the Watt but that was okay. We had booked a spot in another restaurant for the evening and had to check in later on.

Also I had planned to do doll photos the first evening, we were quite packed.

It was the first time for me to eat fish at the sea that was not... fish sticks. But I actually liked it. That was new for me. As we finished we hurried back to hotel to fetch the 5 dolls I had packed to take pics.

We had the most beautiful sunset I very much loved it!

16th September - 2. Day

The day started in the Hotel with breakfast, we were told it would be absolute amazing and it was ... average? Dunno? It was okay but we had better over the years.

Then we went into the Watt for a nice long walk before the flood came in. We explored the area a lot and found some new spots or spots we forgot about?

After that we of course had to get to the tattoo convention, it was super interesting to see. The buzzing of the needles was a bit weird though.

Then we went to fetch lunch and .. well. The restaurant my Mom had chosen was the worst. I had asked for seasonal fruit with my pancake and was told to get kiwi and mango. I got melon, pineapple and a rather disgusting strawberry syrups smoldered on top. Mom's choice was advertised as served "hot" and it was cold and I was super disappointed here. I really feared my mood would declince more and more... Mom asked me what I want to do now. I told her I just want to walk and we... walked. And it helped.

We discovered new restaurants and spots, like a park with some outdoor sports equipment. Dunno why but it lifted my mood. We then got to the restaurant we ate lunch the day before and got some cake as I just wanted to relax somewhere. It had actual seasonal fruit (berries, apple) and we booked a spot for dinner there.

I am seriously not the type who loves burgers but since there are more restaurants popping up with non-meat patties I am testing them here and there. I had a vegetable patty and the sourdough bun was toasted so well it was crunchy until the end. The cabbage salad was really nice and not to mention the mousse au chocolate as dessert.

We came back to an incredible scenery as it got dark and the sun went down. We took another walk and went back to the hotel then.

17th September - 3rd Day

The last day had arrived. I went on a little morning walk on my own and the sunrise was absolutely beautiful and the fog on top of it... I am still in awe.

After checking out we took another big walk into the Watt, the scenery was amazing, I can't put it into words.

Before we left we had another stop at our new favorite restaurant and I had some american cheesecake (only had german one before). We left Büsum then.

Before we completely left we stopped at a local farmer and got some vegetables, the area is known for cabbage and it was in season.

Traveling back ate my complete spoons though as Mom mistook a route and we ended up in Hamburg... I mean... I saw the convention hall for the Polaris and all but I was just so done then.

Overall it was a very good trip, I had the feeling last year Mom and I grew apart a bit as she was a bit too clingy for my taste, maybe it was just that 4 days with her is too much, dunno. But this year was way better.

Fun ways to get into Little space

Littlespace is a natural, carefree childlike state of mind that a person regresses in to when they want to be little. For most littles, littlespace is a genuine state of age regression and a part of their natural personality.

Being in littlespace is one of the best ways to relieve stress. In fact, it’s so useful that age regression is even used in a clinical setting to help treat PTSD and general anxiety disorder.

Even if being little is a part of your personality, it’s not always easy to switch from an adult state of mind in to littlespace, especially if you have a lot going on in your life, but there are a few things you can try to make it easier:

The easiest way to get in to littlespace is to spend time doing things that make you feel little. This is different for everyone, but it might be wearing little clothes, being around your favorite toys, listening to little music, having your caregiver care for you, or spending time coloring or drawing.

Every little is different, different things work for different people so don’t worry if it takes some time for you to find out what works best for you. Here are 16 ideas you can try today to help you get in to littlespace. I hope they work for you and if you have any suggestions please leave a comment so everyone else can try them too!

1: Eating little food:

One way that can help you feel little is to eat food that makes you comfortable, that reminds you of being young, or brings back happy memories. We all have to eat anyway, and eating food we enjoy releases positive reward chemicals in our brains, so make something you really want!

Prepare your food on small plates to help with portion control, or create little sized snacks and treats to carry around throughout the day. Don’t forget to eat enough to nourish your adult body though.

You can try using childlike items too when you eat such as plastic cutlery, paper or plastic plates, or sippy cups for juice to add to the experience.

If you have a partner or caregiver, having them prepare food for you can also be a big trigger for some people, and cooking with your partner can be fun too!

Some little food suggestions are macaroni & cheese, pizza, ice cream, grapes, spaghetti hoops, breakfast cereal, melon, hot chocolate, or fruit juice.

2: Dressing up (or down!):

For some people this is a big part of being little and can be a really strong trigger. Dress up in your favorite outfit that makes you feel cute and good about yourself, or put on a cozy onesie or pajamas to help you feel comfortable, safe and relaxed.

Some littles and adult babies like to wear age specific gear like diapers, pacifiers etc., but it’s not necessary.

Oversized hoodies work for me!

Clothing can be combined with anything else on this list, find out what works best for you and put them on before you try some of the other options!

3: Toys!

If there is one thing most littles can relate to, it’s a compulsive, slightly unhealthy obsession with stuffed animals. (Don’t try to deny it!!!) Most kids had at least one when they were younger.

They may bring back memories of being a child, they are soft and cuddly, something comfortable that remind us of childhood or home and help us feel calm. (Similar to a comfort blanket) You can take them anywhere to recall memories of a certain time, a certain person (maybe the person who bought it) or place.

Fun fact: Hugging has huge health benefits and releases serotonin and dopamine in your brain, helping to balance your mood and make you feel happy and fulfilled. It’s been proven in clinical trials that this works even if you’re hugging a stuffed animal or any other treasured possession. (Even imagining hugging someone you love is enough to trigger positive physiological effects in your brain)

Other toys you might have could be a play mat, coloring books, videogames etc. Anything at all can work so get creative!

4: Watch your favorite movie/tv show/cartoon/anime

Whatever you like to watch, getting lost in your favorite movie/show can help you relax in to littlespace. You can decide what works best, something you can get absorbed in for a while, or something simple you can put on in the background while you do something else.

Maybe your favorite movie is The Godfather… Nothing wrong with that! But, I suggest maybe some animated movies or cartoons like The Lion King, Spirited Away and Adventure Time. They are all cute and easy to watch but are intelligent enough you won’t get bored watching it!

I’ve talked to quite a few people online who like to watch horror movies in littlespace too. I have a really low tolerance for horror movies so that honestly sounds horrible to me, but maybe it’s something you could try too!

Whatever you like to watch, getting lost in your favorite movie/show can help you relax in to littlespace. You can decide what works best, something you can get absorbed in for a while, or something simple you can put on in the background while you do something else.

There are loads of cute AgePlay accessories on Etsy, everything you could imagine from bracelets and necklaces to collars and cuffs.

I especially like when it’s something that’s not super obvious that you can wear wherever. Like Disney t-shirts, it’s pretty socially acceptable to wear them in public, right? Or cute socks that you wear to work or school, then it’s always funny when someone notices them!

6: Spend time with your caregiver

Being around your caregiver can make you feel little, having someone making decisions for you (even simple things like ordering food for you at a restaurant) and informing your behavior is a very effective trigger.

Some people like to add rules, rewards and punishments to their relationship. While that is definitely effective for some people, I think the best thing about CGL relationships is the kind/nurturing nature of a natural CG.

Just the feeling of being in the safe and loving arms of someone who you know will always look after you is a powerful emotion, it’s hardwired in to us in the oldest part of our brains.

7: Make yourself feel physically little

Lots of people worry about their size or weight, but littlespace really is a state of mind. It doesn’t matter what size you are in real life, if you want to be little you can be! Be kind to yourself.

Wear oversized t-shirts and hoodies, have your partner or caregiver reach for something you can’t reach, have them baby you and treat you like you’re small. Sit in the back of the car!

Crawl around the floor instead of walking, play on a play mat or blanket on the floor instead of sitting on the sofa.

The feeling of being physically small can be a big trigger for some people, and it’s easy to combine with other methods like toys or watching tv, mix things up to find what works best for you!

8: Coloring/drawing/painting

Something you can focus on and be creative. It’s messy, childish and fun! Use your fingers to paint if you want to. You can paint with your partner/caregiver, color or draw on your own to relax.

You can get some nice coloring books and have your caregiver pick one out for you to color for them, or draw something they can treasure.

Any form of art gives you something to focus on, relieves stress and fosters creative growth, and it’s fun! So, if you don’t like drawing, try something else creative.

9: Crafting

Maybe this reminds you of when you were in school or of when you were a child. There are so many things that fall under this category, you will easily be able to find something that suits you.

Have your partner/caregiver help you if you want to, it’s a great and fun way to bond, and you will have something at the end that you both worked on and can be proud of.

Some ideas I found that look super fun:

Crafting – pebble painting:

These look so good once they are finished! Just collect some nice pebbles and paint them in whatever style you want, they look great around the house or garden.

You could even make a fun trip out of collecting the pebbles, then once you paint them you will always remember your trip when you see them.

For painting, you can either use acrylic paints or paint markers.

Crafting – pressing leaves:

This looks so good! Collect the leaves, press them in a heavy book and you can use them to make awesome leaf animals, or frame them and hang them on the wall.

I remember when I was younger and used to stay with my grandparents my grandma used to let me use her old books for this. You can find some really beautiful leaves in the autumn once the leaves start turning red.

For best results leave them in a heavy book for several days. Once you come back to them they will be thin and dry, but they will have kept all their colours, then you can frame them or use them to decorate something.

You can buy a pressing kit, which is just a piece of wood with four screws in each corner, but it’s honestly just as easy to use a book!

Crating – cardmaking:

Upcoming birthday? Easter? Christmas? Thursday?

Create a nice card for the people you love.

A home made card is so much more thoughtful than a store bought one. The sky is the limit with this idea.

10: Play with pets

What could be more fun than playing with your pet! I am definitely a dog person but over the years and growing up I had dogs cats, guinea pigs, rabbits and a fish. (RIP Thumper!!! 😭😭)

Snuggly, cute, playful fluffballs are the funnest thing ever and can really help you get in to littlespace.

11: Build a blanket fort

Build yourself a blanket fort and snuggle up inside it. Be creative and use your imagination! Your blanket fort can be anything you like, the only limit is your imagination.

Building is more fun with two, get your partner or caregiver to help you, it can be a good bonding experience! Once built, your fort is somewhere comfy and safe you can hide in to help you relax in to your littlespace state of mind.

Recently, I saw this video online of a guy building a blanket fort for his partner coming home from work. She was a nurse and working through the recent health crisis and it was so wholesome to see her face when she came home to this. If this isn’t relationship goals what is?!

12: Listen to little music

Put some little music on! Different things can work here, maybe lullabies (similar to ASMR videos – see below), children’s music, relaxing music, cartoon theme tunes… or really just anything that helps you relax and feel good. The possibilities are endless.

13: Go outside for a walk

Spending time in nature can help improve physical and mental health, as well as increase your mood. Take a walk in a local park, or in the countryside.

Don’t take any electronics with you, allow yourself to live in the moment.

Practice mindfulness, notice everything around you – clouds, flowers, animals, trees, plants, other people. Notice the sounds you hear and the scents you smell.

Practicing mindfulness is much easier walking in nature than it is sitting at home where you have distractions, but if you can’t, don’t worry too much about it, just enjoy your relaxing walk knowing you are getting all the great benefits it brings.

If you go for a walk with your partner/caregiver it’s a great time to be alone with them and just enjoy each other’s company.

14: Collect things

What? You don’t have a pet rock collection yet? What are you waiting for!

You can collect anything you like, it’s a great way to get outside and give you something fun to focus on to help you get in to littlespace. Seashells, Pebbles, Flowers, Leaves, Berries… (Be careful with berries, some are poisonous)

15: ASMR videos

I used to think I was a bit abnormal for enjoying these videos so much, but over time they have become more and more popular, and there are even some specifically related to Ageplay which can be a huge help getting in to littlespace.

I find any ASMR videos can really help, they don’t have to be specifically Ageplay videos. There is so much great ASMR content now on YouTube, you will be able to find something that works for you.

16: Being around other littles

Being around other littles can be a great trigger, and a good way to learn more about yourself and other people. Some people can only get in to littlespace around their caregivers or other littles, so this is definitely one to try out if you’re struggling!

If you don’t know any other littles, even talking to other littles online or watching a youtube video of someone else in littlespace can work just as well.

There are loads of great groups dedicated to our community, both online and in person if you’re looking to meet other little friends. Just a quick google search for Ageplay Groups will set you on the right path!
