These guitars were never used and have never been seen outside of their appearance in an uncorrected proof of a book regarding the production of Half-Life and Half-Life 2, and it is unknown where they may be now or if they even ever existed to begin with (they may possibly have only been mockup images)

#In looking this up to make a post about it #I did discover that apparently in 2021 a half-life themed guitar of similar appearance to the one on the right showed up on ebay #however the ebay page is no longer up and went unarchived so i cannot get a better picture of that or see if it had description :/ #so only 5 comments on a post on a fansite sharing the link to the unarchived ebay page remain :/ #the decal on the ebay item was apparently rotated differently so it may have been a different prototype #or the ones in the book are mockups but the guitar is real or its just a separate unrelated half-life guitar that exists #mypost

Finally doing some emotional processing ✌

#speculation nation #went thru old pictures with my sister to find things of my uncle #to display during the funeral :p #and i ended up crying. look at me go! actually letting myself feel things for once. #in large part it's the knowledge that such a permanent fixture of my life is now gone #my fun loving and mischievous uncle... #it's hard to say goodbye to someone so soon. he was younger than my dad even. #but cancer doesnt descriminate with people's ages haha #i spent the past week compartmentalizing like crazy & not letting myself process it at all #so it just did not feel real. i was far too removed from it all. #but now im in familiar ground. spaces he's been in. as recently as last christmas. #i've... been dealing with far too much death lately. #it has me going through life in doubt. because you never know when it'll be the last time you see someone. #life can be normal and then theyre gone. and there's no real way to predict it. #i know ive been writing a Grief Fic but like @ life maybe give me a break for a few years lol. just maybe. #i guess it's been almost 4 years since my grandma died. doesnt feel like it's been that long tho #my grandpa died in 2018. my grandma in 2019. my cat sammy in 2021. my cat cassy may 2023. and now my uncle july 3rd 2023 #too much death. too much fucking death. can i Please get a break for at least 5 years? please and thank you? #im just... really tired of loss. #negative/ #death/ #animal death ment/

i never thought i’d say this, but... i miss 2020 lol. in terms of kpop, anyway. i feel like kpop was a better year for kpop than 2021 and definitely 2022 so far. man... sigh

#2021 had some good songs here and there and a bunch at the end #2022 has been kind of a wasteland imo so far #a few good songs #but not nearly as many as we had in 2021 or especially 2020 by five months in #by this point in 2020 i mean yeah we had the beginning of the pandemic but... #we also had scream fiesta dazzle dazzle wannabe kick it dr bebe crossroads so what nun nu nan na dun dun #bouncy jackpot assa endless night hands up nonstop stay tonight and probably more im not remembering #by this point in 2021 we had odd eye love so sweet after school asap ponzona doom doom ta mafia and more #not quite as many as in 2020... mostly thanks to february 2020 being the most stacked month in kpop history... but #for 2022 so far we have... well we have love dive run2u gingamingayo fearless dm smiley etc and yeah those are good i guess #but at this point in the last two years... i had like a really strong candidate for song of the year. there's no scream or asap yet in 2022 #and may 2021 had everglow first! idk if we'll get a soty candidate this month lol #my current frontrunner for soty is run2u probably. maybe love dive? probably run2u #i've actually listened to love dive more than run2u but thats just because april was a really hard month for me #and i needed some comfort music #lol #but i dont feel like run2u is *it* you know? it feels like a top 10 song... maybe even a top 5... but i KNOW when a song is a number 1 #and i dont feel like i have one yet this year #that's fine though #im just... really bored lol
