Icaro - un titolo per far volare la fantasia
Lera Auėrbach (21 ottobre 1973): Icarus, poema sinfonico (2006). The National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, dir. Mark Wigglesworth. « The title Icarus was given to this work after it was written. All my music is abstract, but by giving evocative titles I in e the listener to feel free to imagine, to access his own memories, associations. Icarus is what came to my mind, listening to this work…

Salvation and Healing When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee...But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins...I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.
Mark 2:5,10-11 Before leaving home, I received a wire telling me that I should go to Liverpool. There was a woman with cancer and gall stones who was down with much discouragement. If I know God is sending me, my faith rises. God sent me to her.
The woman said, “I have no hope.”
“Well,” I said, “I have not come from Bradford to go back home with a bad report.”
God said to me, “Establish her in the fact of the new birth.”
When she had the assurance that her sin was gone and she was born again, she said, “That [salvation] is everything to me.
Cancer is nothing now. I have Jesus!”
The battle was won. God delivered her. She was free from sin and disease. She got up, dressed and was happy in Jesus.
Healing Principle #6 When God speaks, it is as a nail in a sure place.
Will you believe?
Pray this closing prayer today:
Jesus, You are my salvation and my healing. I believe that You alone can set me free from sin and sickness.
Amen.☕️Smith Wigglesworth

maximize our time remaining "but the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer." 1 pet 4:7 "for He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, because the Lord will make a short work upon the earth." rom 9:28 a short work indeed.  even now i am feeling the shortness of the hour.  i am sensing the end of a beginning, followed then by a new beginning.  whether it be mine alone or an ending for all of us, i do not know.  i just sense my dailies might be drawing down and i don't know why, unless their purpose has been fulfilled. i, along with others i'm sure, often feel like i would never shut up.  i just get so excited when i start talking about Jesus, sometimes i have to forcibly bring a daily to a conclusion.  why?  because i believe He's really, really, really, real.  i know some do not have that much time for reading, so i try to condense my excitement (to myself at least). the other day i heard some christians discussing the law of exponential growth (essentially doubling).  an example given would be a penny doubled everyday for a month would equal over five million dollars.  one cent becomes two, two becomes four, four becomes eight, etc.  i think the signs of the time are doubling even now as we near the time of jacob's trouble.  evil is deceiving more into a deeper darkness, while the Holy Spirit will manifest more glory in His people, drawing in stragglers urgently.  all things are maximizing.  should we not each be maximizing the time allotted to us? there used to be a show called "to tell the truth."  a panel would have to decide among three guests, which one was telling the truth.  well, i have listened to many "religions," and i have settled on the One who is telling the truth.  Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life.  no one comes to the Father except through Me." john 14:6  that "Father" happens to be the creator of all things. i remember times of weeping on my bathroom floor, trying not to disturb my parents as i diligently sought Him (as an adult, returned home after tramatic times).  i remember the excitement of first love as i found Him in my heart.  i know the scripture warns us that some have lost their first love, and maybe i have.  but just maybe i haven't.  you see, my first love has grown into more of a seasoned love.  while a first love excitedly embraces discovering every intimate detail of their new love, a more seasoned love settles in the fact of knowing them now; what they truly are.  i don't mean they become complacent and assuming, but expecting because one is assured of how the other will respond in any situation.  it's kind of like a fruit that has ripened.  it is at it's most tasty when consumed immediately. many are now becoming tasty to the Lord and i expect Him to pick us at any moment.  i remember reading once how smith wigglesworth demonstrated maturity with a scripture.  "for the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head." mark 4:28  that is how all life progresses; from infancy to maturity.  if the harvesting is put off too long, the fruit will then begin to spoil. "to everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven." eccl 3:1  our Lord's timing is perfect.  Lord, we know who You are, what You are, and how much You love us.  we are not complacent and assuming but are expectantly waiting You to fulfill all Your promises.  until You hold us in Your arms as You now hold us in Your heart.

Smith Wigglesworth passed away 75 years ago. Shortly before he passed into glory, Wigglesworth prophesied THIS:
“When the new church phase is on the wane (76% of churches report decrease since 2020), there will be evidence in the churches of something that has not been seen before: a coming together of those with an emphasis on the word and those with an emphasis on the Spirit.
When the word and the Spirit come together, there will be the biggest move of the Holy Spirit that the nations, and indeed, the world have ever seen. It will mark the beginning of a revival that will eclipse anything that has been witnessed.”
IT’S HAPPENING!

Rest
“There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from His.” Hebrews 4:9-10NIV
What exactly is “a Sabbath-rest?” How do we find “Sabbath-rest?” Is “Sabbath-rest” something for after Jesus has established His millennial reign? Are we supposed to live within the “Sabbath-rest” in the here and now? If so, how do we enter this so-called “Sabbath-rest,” which we don’t even understand exactly what it is?
Look at God’s rest, Genesis 2:2-3NIV “ By the seventh day God had finished the work He had been doing; so on the seventh day He rested from all His work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it He rested from all the work of creating that He had done.” Read through Genesis 1-3. You’ll see, God set up a kingdom of His own here on earth and gave man rulership of the kingdom, see Genesis 1:26.
Man, being the ultra-genius, gave rulership of this kingdom to satan, see Genesis 3:1-6. Ultimately God found His two ‘rulers’ serving satan; cursed them to work for their livelihood, see Genesis 3:17-19; put them out of the garden of Eden to sustain life for themselves in work, poverty, and fear. Thus we find ourselves in this same state of affairs how many thousands of years later? We get to live in the most corrupted of generations, or do we have an alternative?
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them” Matthew 5:17NIV. Jesus arrived to establish a new kingdom on earth. Every single law broken by Adam and all mankind, Jesus came to fulfill with love. He opened the door to a different government of supernatural proportions. Never allowing demons to call Him “Son of God,” see Mark 3:11-12, Jesus lived in a human body, filled by the power of God, naming Himself, “Son of Man” instead, see Matthew 8:20. Each miracle Jesus performed occurred by reaching into the supernatural by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit. We have access to the same indwelling Holy Spirit for the same purpose today.
When Jesus reached into the supernatural with five loaves of bread and two fish, see Mark 6:30-44, what occurred? Undeniably, the supernatural kingdom multiplied the food enough to feed approximately 20,000 people— plus leftovers for later. Could this be one of our greatest examples of the “Sabbath-rest?” If it is, we are missing something as believers in Jesus Christ, especially Spirit-filled Believers. Shouldn’t we be able to take from the supernatural for our needs and provisions for the here and now?
Sporadically we see evangelists and pastors, occasionally everyday people reach into the supernatural receiving healings, miracle provisions. Making withdrawals like George Muller, Smith Wigglesworth, Lester Sumrall, A A Allen, Maria Woodworth-Etter.
Personally, I’ve experienced both healing and miraculous provisions. Twice God provided for Lou and I, when we were ready to lose everything we had. Healings more than once with cancer. Crazy part— I had no clue I’d entered the “Sabbath-rest.” Instead, I thought I HAD fasted, prayed, received enough faith to obtain God’s help. Quickly making a withdrawal, I withdrew from the supernatural until the next ‘need.’ What if I had continued on making withdrawals from the supernatural as Jesus did? Withdrawals like Kathryn Kuhlman and John G Lake made on a daily basis?
Are you wanting to go into the “Sabbath-rest?” Give up churchy religion accepted by man and pursue Holy Spirit with your life. It’s your choice. You choose.
LET’S PRAY: Holy God we choose to pursue You in every aspect of Your Lordship. We DESPERATELY NEED You. Father teach us how to enter and live from Your “Sabbath-rest,” in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Luke 2:7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn." - Luke 2:7.
There was no room for the Son of God in the Inn! Manger is a long open box or trough for horses or cattle to eat from. Usually wet feed remaining at the ends of mangers also provide a place for flies to lay eggs. And this was the only available place for the Son of God. And people are here being conned with prosperity and garbage teachings, instead of being taught and made to desire and seek their Eternal Home - Mark 8:36-37. Even the Apostles and early Disciples of Christ that had the divine mandate of evangelizing the world were not even given the so called prosperity for work nor for themselves. All their attention and pursuit was for Him: "Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore. For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come." - Hebrews 13:13-14. What really are you looking for in this world?
Honestly, our Generation, from "Top to Bottom", has lost God to follow the world. All we now have are Servants of God hyping people deep into Religion activities through which their wealth and Fame are recked in and Worldliness through which we are glued to Religion and it's activities. They fix their Teachings and our hearts on earthly things as against the Heavenlies. "For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things. But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ," - Philippians 3:18-21. Is your mind on earthly things or eagerly awaiting a Savior from Heaven? It can only be on one!
Now Life and it's success on earth is seen and measured in terms of the acquisition and enjoyment of worldly goods, completely opposite to what Jesus taught us. “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions." - Luke 12:15. Who is really right - Jesus or these Ministers?
There is absolutely no one who has seen God that would still cling to the world and it's Treasures.
• Abraham gave up the best of the world, Isaac, for his God - Genesis 22:1-18
• Moses Left Egypt and it's Throne, even his family, for his God - Hebrews 11:24-27
• John the Baptist Left his enviable Priestly caste to find his God in the Desert - Luke 1:80
• The Apostles of Christ Left all behind to follow their Lord - Luke 18:18; Philippians 3:6-9
• George Muller, W Moody, Smith Wigglesworth, Billy Graham, etc - all great Generals of God, left the world and all it can give for their Lord.
Do those who are still hooked unto the acquisition, enjoyment and pride of the world and measure themselves by them, really know God? Maybe God does not really mean what He said in - Matthew 6:24; James 4:4; 1 John 2:15-17. The clinging to the world and it's treasures is simply a testimony of one not having seen God. For there is absolutely no one who sees God that would not let go of the world and it's treasures to possess Him - Matthew 13:44-46; Colossians 3:1-4. Maybe, Christ was wrong, He doesn't know what He talked about.
Refuse to be deceived. Open that Bible in your hand and find your God and your Savior. You, who still see Religion and it's activities in a fixed structure, as the worship of God, are you aware that in our Eternal Home, there will not even be a Temple, a fixed structure, for the worship of God? "I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp." - Revelation 21:22-23. Even the Temple that Moses replicated and that Christ physically entered in Heaven to atone for our sins, did not even made it to this our Eternal Home with God and Christ - Hebrews 8:1-5; 9:11-12, 24. In all these, God is simply telling and showing us that His Worship has evolved to the spiritual qualities we manifest in our lives rather than the physical activities we engage in a fixed physical structure - John 4:23-24; Romans 7:6.

The Black Caps have suffered an damage blow forward of their second check towards England in Nottingham with allrounder Colin de Grandhomme dominated out for the rest of the collection with a heel damage. The reigning world check champions misplaced by 5 wickets inside 4 days in a unprecedented first check at Lord’s, throughout which Colin de Grandhomme tore the plantar fasciia in his proper heel whereas bowling on day three. Black Caps coach Gary Stead stated de Grandhomme would wish 10 to 12 weeks to get well. “It’s a real shame for Colin to suffer this injury so early in the series,” Stead stated. “He’s a massive part of our test side and we’ll certainly miss him.Kirsty Wigglesworth/APColin de Grandhomme won’t be playing any further part in the England series due to a heel injury. “It’s great to be able to call on someone like Michael who’s been with the squad for the past month and is match ready.” The Black Caps relocate to Nottingham on Tuesday forward of the second check, which begins on Friday. when i make up my jewels
"they shall be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts, “on the day that I make them My jewels.  and I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him." mal 3:17
do you know that right now God is observing not only our actions, but also the thoughts and intents of our heart?  what do you do when there is no witness but God?  how do you react in certain situations?  do you pay attention to a suffered wrong.  would you rejoice as "the reproaches of those who reproach You have fallen" on you? psa 69:9  do you forgive even as God has forgiven you?
forgiveness is not a feeling.  it's a decision.  just like receiving Christ into your life is a decision.  it's not just a one time decision.  it's a daily decision.  "if anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me." luke 9:23  you might ask, "follow Him where"?  where ever He leads.  "the wind blows where it wishes ... so is everyone who is born of the Spirit." john 3:8  "My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord." isa 55:8
you may say, others have tasted glories i have only heard stories of.  yes, i too would cherish visits to  the third heaven.  but my experience doesn't tell me what God is.  His word does!
His jewels will not be made up of casual believers. it is reserved "for those who fear the Lord and who meditate on His name."  mal 3:16  it is for those who "those who hunger and thirst for righteousness" matt 5:6  be as the psalmist who wrote, "open to me the gates of righteousness; i will go through them". psa 118:19  be as Leonard Ravenhill who penned the words, “give me souls lest i die!"
does your passion for God often feel as though it would consume you?  this is not for the casual christian.  not for one grateful only for salvation.  not for the one who doesn't desire fellowship with Him in prayer.  not for the one who doesn't share the burden of His heart for the remnant.  it is for those who are filled with passion for the Lord.  i have often said, "salvation is free.  intimacy will cost you everything."
speaking of john the paptizer, Jesus said, “he was a burning and shining lamp, and you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light”. John 5:35  that’s my heart as well.  i want to be a burning and shining lamp.  i want to be a torch!  in the words of smith wigglesworth, "o, if God had His way, we should be like torches, purifying the very atmosphere wherever we go, moving back the forces of wickedness."  the missionary amy carmichael had prayed, "make me Thy fuel, flame of God."
here are some questions to ask ourselves: do our lives purify or pollute?  do we give off light or levity?  do we deepen the working of the Spirit or dampen His flames?  do you truly "love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength"? mark 12:30  and then, you neighbor as yourself?
these are the god-like qualities He is looking for in His jewels?  jewels are made to sparkle and reflect the light.  God is that light and His jewels will be reflections of His glory.  a radiance so bright that human eyes cannot behold it.  is it no wonder that all of creation groans, awaiting for the revealing of the sons of God?
God is in the process of transforming those who will into all He wants for a bride to His Son.  that process began with paying the price for the bride.  it was a costly price indeed.  it was God's best.
"deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; all Your waves and billows have gone over me." psa 42:7  become that fire that burns up the dross. God is a consuming fire.  those who reside in His presence become like Him.  the hymn writers of old knew this:
o that in me the sacred fire might now begin to glow, burn up the dross of base desire, and make the mountains flow!
breathe on me, breath of God, till i am wholly thine, until this earthly part of me glows with Thy fire divine.
the gems that crystallize underground typically require very high pressures and temperatures.  are you willing to endure the compression and fire to become one of His jewels?   then pray now as the methodist leader john fletcher did.  "Lord, i stand in need of oil.  my lamp burns dimly.  it is more like a smoking flax than a burning and shining light.  oh, quench it not, raise it to a flame!  i want a "power from on high"; i want penetrating, lasting “unction of the Holy One”; i want my vessel full of oil; i want a lamp of heavenly illumination, and a fire of divine love burning day and night in my heart; i want a full application of the blood which cleanseth from all sin, and a strong faith in thy sanctifying word."  then let your words be swallowed by your actions. "we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is." 1 john 3:2
"i turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me.  and when i turned i saw seven golden lampstands, and among the lampstands was someone “like a son of man,” dressed in a robe reaching down to His feet and with a golden sash around His chest.  His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes were like blazing fire.  His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of rushing waters.  in His right hand He held seven stars, and out of His mouth came a sharp double-edged sword.  His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance." rev 1:12-16

Casting Out Devils For he [Jesus] said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many... And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. And forthwith Jesus gave them leave.
Mark 5:8-9,12-13 After many calls, letters and requests, I went to London. When I got there, the dear father and mother of the needy one took my hands, led me up onto a balcony and pointed to a door that was open a little. I went in that door and have never seen a sight like it in my life.
I saw a young woman, beautiful to look at, but she had four big men holding her down to the floor. Her clothing was tornfrom the struggle. Her eyes rolled, and she could not speak.
She was exactly like that man who saw Jesus and ran out from the tombs. As soon as he got to Jesus, he couldn’t speak, but the demon power spoke and said, “I know you. Y ou can’t cast us out. We are many.”
“Y es,” I said, “I know you are many, but my Lord Jesus will cast you all out.” The power of Satan was so great upon this beautiful girl that she whirled and broke away from the four strong men.
The Spirit of the Lord was wonderful in me, and I went right up to her, looked into her face, seeing the evil powers there.
Healing Principle #9 Her very eyes flashed with demon power. “In the name of Jesus,” I said, “I command you to leave. Though you are many, I command you to leave this moment in the name of Jesus.”
She instantly became sick and vomited out thirty-seven evil spirits, giving them a name as they came out. That day she was made as perfect as anybody. The next morning at ten o’clock, I sat at the table with her and had breaking of bread. Praise the Lord!
Pray this closing prayer today:
At the name of Jesus, every demon must flee. Amen.☕️Smith Wigglesworth

The present rugby news as World Cup set to be moved to summer
The Rugby World Cup is probably going to move from its conventional harvest time opening and become a mid year competition when it is facilitated in the US in 2031, as per reports.
A few UK public news sources report the opposition is put to part from custom together for matches to be organized at top NFL arenas. There are in excess of 20 NFL arenas included as a component of the proposition for facilitating both the men's 2031 and ladies' 2033 World Cups, as well as Significant Association Soccer settings.
The NFL season and the World Cup ordinarily both beginning in September, and coordinators are sharp for there to be no conflict. The Everyday Mail report holding the competition in summer in boiling temperatures experienced by certain pieces of the US raises "serious player government assistance concerns".
Any shift would likewise significantly affect homegrown rugby dates with planning and recuperation times calculated in for a mid year competition.
"The US would preferably be somewhat prior," said World Rugby CEO Alan Gilpin. "That will include some kind of adult conversations with proficient associations all over the planet and the effects that could have on their seasons. We won't do a Qatar and simply plonk it in a ton of different contests.
"In the event that we can saddle a tad of an organization with NFL establishments around facilitating, the capacity that gives us to truly make this thing wake up rapidly will be will be phenomenal."
"The USA is the brilliant piece everybody needs to snag. It's the world's greatest donning market," said Sir Bill Beaumont, World Rugby administrator.
