#Mal is not a feminist icon
Text
The level of internalized misogyny it takes to look at Mal and be like “yeah, that’s the kinda guy women should want” is insane.
Mal is like a character from a bygone era, the era of films/shows where the female character’s only purpose was to get the guy to notice her. Like, I can’t count how many films or tv shows have that shitty “girl pines endlessly for guy she’s known forever who doesn’t notice her, then she transforms into someone ‘special’ and suddenly guy who has never noticed her pining suddenly sees it and gets possessive, and they live happily ever after” 🤮 story. That’s basically Mal.
Mal as he exists in the Grishaverse is a toxic fuckboy who feels entitled to Alina because she’s suddenly special. She has been his “best friend” since they were children, yet he has ignored her feelings for ages. He has also ignored their friendship for years, and yet I’m supposed to be happy that he suddenly likes her now that she’s getting attention from the rest of the world? He even had the balls to be resentful of her powers, the fact that she was thriving without him, just like his fellow fuckboys would do, and yet LB and self righteous antis on the internet want me to root for this guy? Let’s not forget the giant red flag that is his disdain for Grisha and their powers.
If your ‘friend’ has been taking your relationship for granted for years and they suddenly start to be extra attentive/possessive/resentful when you become famous and powerful and start hanging out with other famous and powerful people, they are literally not good friends.
If the guy you’ve have been pining for forever only starts to notice you when a better guy starts to notice you, and then chooses to shame you about your relationship with the other guy, slap him. That’s literally the only option. Slap him to make sure he’s listening when you tell him to fuck off.
Anyway, Mal is shit for so many reasons, but the ultimate one for me is that he’s the kinda supreme fuckboy that wants to be the center of your universe without actually doing anything to deserve that. That’s basically what he does to Alina in TGT. He tells her she’s “just Alina” and then we the audience have to suffer through Alina the Sun Summoner spending her entire journey trying to be “just Alina.” Then she accomplishes nothing, kills her soulmate, makes her country/people (Grisha) worse, looses her powers, and fully becomes “just Alina.” 🙄
Again, I want to know what LB expected the young women she’s so concerned about to learn from this. You know, us young women she’s protecting from falling for 500 year old immortal men with sharp jawlines.

It sometimes feels like the majority of pro-Mal are from the show so when they come onto tumblr or Twitter and see discourses happening they associate it with the show and that we’re hating on show!Mal but most of the time we’re talking about the book. Like I love love show Mal, and I just know Archie will do his best if they try to make his character toxic come s2. I don’t know if this makes sense but I just feel like the show watchers who haven’t read the book need to stop injecting themselves when they have no idea what they’re talking about
I really *wish* I could say the majority of Mal fans are coming from the show and have therefore been unexposed to the toxic sewage dump that is book!M*l but I've seen far too many posts claiming book!M*l and show!Mal are the exact same character for me to believe this 😒
Part of it may have to do with reader expectations. I went into reading the Grisha trilogy blind. I didn't have any exposure to the fandom discourse surrounding Alina, Mal, and the Darkling. So my reaction to the way the ships panned out was only based on the text. I think some newer fans are seeing all the rampant Darkling simping and book!M*l hate and going into the series thinking the Darkling is supposed to be some great feminist icon (...lol 😂) and that book!M*l is SATAN INCARNATE. So when they read the books, they vastly overestimated how horrible Mal was going to be and by comparison, he didn't seem *that* terrible.
I also see some book!M*l stans who know how shitty he was to Alina in S&S but feel like he redeemed himself in R&R. For me, I can't even read Mal's character in R&R without seeing Bardugo's intrusive hand in everything. Like, it's so obvious she realized she fucked up his character in S&S and is now frantically trying to backpedal and retcon her way through R&R before the planned Mal x Alina endgame. I don't read it as character development or redemption. It's just terribly written retcon that fails to convince me Mal could ever accept Alina with her powers.
So I think a lot of reader reactions to Mal's character in the books hinges on (1) whether or not you can buy his characterization in R&R and (2) how much you were exposed to the Discourse™️ before reading the series.

i don’t understand darklina shippers who dislike malina because they think Mal was toxic... the darkling basically groomed Zoya tried to make Alina his own personal slave and let Genya get r*ped by the king for years even though she was on his side at the time. he’s not exactly a feminist icon 😭💀

You know, this pretty much sums up the way I see Evie in regards to Uma and Mal’s relationship. I never thought I’d see it depicted in a picture so accurately.
Evie’s got a small smile on her face while she walks right behind her sister, but those eyes are glaring daggers at Uma.
Like...
If you dare get between me and ma girl, Imma mess you up, pirate.
Honestly, Evie feeling a bit insecure about her relationship with Mal would’ve been a better character arc for Evie anyway instead of making her all about a guy when she’s like a feminist icon.

Lgbt headcanons
Why are so many of them used as redemption arcs for people who don’t deserve it. Like chad or Malfoy or the mullet from stranger things. Theorising them as lgbt doesn’t erase what whey did or who they hurt. It’s why I don’t get the thing about Bellatrix being a feminist lesbian icon. She’s a Nazi. Who were all straight and misogynistic. I mean yeah. Headcanon then however you like but not if your gonna use it to redeem someone who doesn’t deserve it. It’s partly why I personally see Audrey as straight. I know many believe she’s a lesbian. I respect that. But I just can’t see her with a girl who she’s hurt. Like Jane or Lonnie or Mal Evie or Uma. And I think Harry’s bi but I only ship him with Uma and Gil. I guess what I’m trying to say here is go ahead headcanon is whowever you want as however you want. Just try to make it make sense and don’t use it as a redemption arc and put them with their victims

SEND ‘DEAR DIARY’ FOR A RANDOM DIARY ENTRY ABOUT YOUR MUSE
𝐈 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐘𝐎𝐔'𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐋. Trust me, I’m just as tired of having her shoved down my throat everywhere I go.
I really don’t know what I did to deserve this. Am I really a bad person?
Mal is like a spore. She just comes in and releases her toxins everywhere. Good thing I am far, far away from Auradon Central and whatever poisons Mal is still pumping out.
The thing is, no matter how far you go, you can’t completely run from reality. It finds a way to catch up with you. So, I turned on the TV and guess what I saw? It wasn’t the show I was actually looking for. It was Ben and Mal having dinner with Jasmine and Aladdin. My stomach churned and I thought I was totally going to expel my yummy acai bowl. I tried not to think about how I should’ve been the one sitting there.
I had researched traditional Arabic dishes so I would know what to expect. I drew so many sketches about what I would wear and researched stuff to talk about so that we could actually have a conversation outside of the whole royal business. Sultana Jasmine is not only absolutely GORGEOUS but she is a strong woman who stands up for herself and what she believes in and is a feminist ICON. She’s one of my #WCWs as well as a huge inspiration for me. I was counting down the days until I got to meet her. Now I don’t know when that’ll ever be. Maybe we’ll run into each other at the punch bowl at Cotillion and if I’m lucky she’ll spare me a passing pity glance.
Anyway, back to Mal since everything is about her. No offense, but the dinner looked like a complete disaster. Well, for her at least. She looked completely out of place, shocker. She even spit the food out into her napkin which is totally and completely disrespectful! Maybe it’s because I kinda enjoy pain, but I found myself sneaking peeks at Ben and Mal’s tour, just to see how she was doing and let me tell you that she was flopping miserably.
She looked like she was having a hard time and rather than gloat or feel smug about it,  it just made me feel bad for her. It was painful to watch and not for the reason I thought it would be. Mal was so out of her element, and no kidding. How could you take a girl from the Isle and parade her around like some kind of princess when that’s not who she is? I’ve been training since I was in diapers, it’s the reason we have training in the first place, and I still get nervous and overwhelmed about the whole royal thing. Hiding it is something Mal would have learned if she had the proper training. I mean, it was really messed up. It was like talking a freshwater fish and tossing it into the ocean. You know what happens if you do that?
It dies.
Not that I want that to happen to Mal or anything, its just a metaphor, but she seriously doesn’t look good.
I mean she looks great, because the dresses and everything (the hair was… a choice.) but like, you know what I mean. She looks like a dying fish.
Metaphorically.

Why the hate on Joss Whedon? Did he do something? I'm out of the loop so I'd like to know. Thank you.
No problem, thanks for asking :D My personal opinion on Joss Whedon is that he has a very strict vision of what writing women entails, and fair enough in the 90s and early 2000s that vision was refreshing to see on mainstream tv, he had a multitude of strong female characters in Buffy and Firefly which I love and will continue to love throughout my life. BUT!!! my problem is with his treatment of women, both as characters on screen and as real people in his life.
My number one big issue is his continued use of rape as a plot device, fair enough some of my issues with this are indeed personal (which I won’t go into detail), but you can’t deny that there is a worrying trend. This is very prevalent in his show Firefly. Joss Whedon himself said a few years after the cancellation of the show that he planned on having a “gang-rape scene” featuring one of the main female characters Inara, conducted by the cannibal monsters in the show Reavers. Not only do I have a MASSIVE problem with this horrific idea, but I also find myself extremely uncomfortable with the idea that a so called “feminist” writer like Joss could write such a scene with the INTENTION of using it as character growth for the lead male character Mal. He also used the threat of rape during the show on an episode called Objects in Space, where a bounty hunter Jubal Early boards the ship to kidnap River for the reward. He threatens the female character Kaylee multiple times with rape throughout the episode in order to get her to do as he says.
Rape is once again used as a plot-device in Buffy in order to further the development of a male character. This time in the form of Spike and the episode Seeing Red, where Spike attempts to rape the main female character Buffy while she’s incapacitated. Not only does he force viewers to see something so traumatic he also makes it all about Spike? like forget the traumatizing of Buffy but let’s just focus on the fact that Spike feels #superguilty and thus runs away in self-disgust to “find his soul”. Also, the story apparently came from a female writer of the show who shared her experience in forcing herself sexually on her ex so they would get back together and her subsequent guilt about it. So not only did Whedon use rape as a plot device, he decided it was better to reverse roles? as if men can’t get raped by women?? I think if he used the original story he could have done a lot of good in raising awareness for male rape victims and help battle the stigma surrounding men being “unable” to be raped by women.
Next up is his particularly rotten treatment of a female employee. Christina Carpenter has said during the 2009 DragonCon that because she fell pregnant during the filming of the tv series Angel, Joss became noticeably more hostile in his attitude towards her. She believes full heartedly that her pregnancy was the reason behind this and that her becoming pregnant interfered with his “vision” for her character, which let’s face it is like a giant man-baby throwing a fit when people don’t play like he wants them too. She wasn’t even notified that she wouldn’t be returning for the fifth season which is petty as fuck from a writer who considers himself a “feminist icon”.
(takes a deep breath, oh man I still have so much to say)
Moving on to the complete character butchering of Natasha Romanoff (I will forever be pissed about this ffs). Ignoring the fact that he has a male character in the first Avengers openly call Natasha a “whining cunt” throughout the movie Age of Ultron he single-handedly manages to embody everything that ISN’T Natasha Romanoff and force it down out throats. Number one, Natasha would NEVER! NEVER! date Bruce Banner, they have a good friendship in the animated series where Bruce trusts Natasha but it’s a friendship and a partnership as Avengers. That is ALL it should have ever been, not only do they have the combined chemistry of two inert gases, but the “romantic” scenes between them were so cringe-worthy I nearly died. Whedon was literally so BUTT-HURT over Clintasha and desperately wanting to be “unique” that he created a whole imaginary fucking farm family for Clint and forced two of the most unlikely characters together. In Avengers we see Natasha who is scared of Bruce and the Hulk and is only JUST at the end of the movie beginning to become comfortable with him. But now all of a sudden in Age of Ultron we’re supposed to believe she wants to have a romantic relationship with him?? No, just fucking no. Friends yes, teammates who trust each other yes, but boyfriend and girlfriend? fuck NO!! I’m not even going to touch the whole “I can’t have babies so I’m a monster like you” thing with a ten-foot fucking pole because I probably don’t have enough time. Other than completely demeaning Natasha’s character with a shitty romantic subplot, he also makes her the damsel in distress for Ultron, where she has to wait to be rescued by Bruce. Natasha fucking Romanoff does not wait to be rescued by anybody, she’s a feared ex-KGB assassin, one of the best might I add, a SHIELD agent and a general fucking badass!! She does not get rescued.
Last but not least on my massive Anti-Whedon rant is the Wonder Woman script that was leaked online. Oh lord, oh my god. I can not express how happy I am that they didn’t let him direct, bless all the Gods, bless them. In the script, he manages to write a completely out of character Diana who is a loving, kind, strong willed and kick-ass female into a cold hearted warrior which basically goes against EVERYTHING Wonder Woman is about. He wrote Steve Trevor as a giant fucking condescending dick-wad who made grossly sexual jokes about Diana and who basically treat her like shit but she still falls for him? NO THANKS!
SO… to wrap it all up. I am never going to see the Batgirl movie, my heart physically aches for the amount of shit this overly entitled self-proclaimed “feminist” is going to put my beloved Barbara Gordon through.
Other people can see it that’s fine, other people can like Whedon and his writing that’s totally fine. I don’t judge, I don’t hate on people for what they like, even if they don’t share my opinion.
Maybe, just maybe Whedon will wake up one day and stop being such a deep-friend douche-nozzle and actually treat female characters decently, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon. Until then you can count me out for anything that man writes.
THE END :D
P.s this ranting felt really fucking good, thank you! :P I needed to let off some steam after taking a statistics exam yesterday :D

Dear antis, you can screech from now till the end of the world, but stop saying Mal is a feminist icon, Mal is ABSOLUTELY NOT a “feminist icon.”
A guy who you have to make yourself smaller for is NOT a feminist icon.
A guy who thinks he can constantly speak for you is NOT a feminist icon.
A guy who is prejudiced against your prosecuted minority group is NOT a feminist icon.
A guy who thinks it’s ok to say shit like “I love even the parts of you that loved him” is NOT a feminist icon. There is nothing feminist about being condescending to the person you supposedly “love” because you’re an insecure, jealous dick.
A guy who has spent a long ass time chasing after every other girl but ignoring your pining until you meet someone he’s threatened by is NOT a feminist icon.
A guy who constantly makes you feel like shit for doing something important with your life, something that isn’t about him, that guy is NOT a feminist icon.
A guy who gets mad at you for apparently not paying enough attention to him then goes off to kiss another girl is NOT a feminist icon.
A guy who has nothing of value to offer you, but expects you to be 100% ok with giving up everything for him is NOT a feminist icon.
A guy who makes you feel like shit for being powerful and wanting to be powerful is NOT a feminist icon.
In conclusion, you antis need to examine why you’re so eager to strip a woman of her identity and agency just so she can fit with a guy who is less than her. I don’t think Mal is less than Alina because he’s non-Grisha, I think he is less than her because he doesn’t value all of her.
A guy who doesn’t value all of you is ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY NOT a feminist icon.

Discussing the world’s first #transgender #celebrity - Eccentric Mal Frith - born Mary 1584 he lived died & was buried as a man in 1659 - After staring to packed audiences with his beloved dog “Wild Brat” in “The Roaring Girl” by Royal playwrights Dekker & Middleton, Frith became a household name across Europe - an #icon of The Eccentrics who emerged due under the new freedoms & #tolerance introduced by our first openly #gay monarch King JamesI 1603-1625. Like all #LGBTQ Frith was an ardent Royalist & at the start of the Civil Wars in 1642 Frith shot General Fairfax robbing him of £4000 which he gave to King CharlesI ⚜️Alas the Royalists were ultimately defeated & #Cromwell abolished democracy & all freedoms as Britain became a #Puritan Military Dictatorship on 6 Dec 1648 - Puritans carried out mass genocides on #LGBTQs feminists as well as the Irish. Unfortunately Mal Frith died months before the Restoration of the Stuart Monarchy in 1660 who hailed Frith as a hero ⚜️His autobiography became a bestseller. He is buried in #stbrideschurch #fleetstreet #JohnMilton wrote a poem on his tombstone. Long after his death Frith was celebrated for his bravery & defiance in cutting a line on his own. Revisionist Victorian #Historians relying on #bigotry rather than facts erased Frith along with most of the leading women & LGBTQs of #history In their determination to create a heroic male narrative ⚜️the LGBTQs who survived the cull were heteronormalised robbing women & LGBTQs of their #Heroines & #heroes & robbing all of us of the truth #dirkdehner of @tomoffinlandfoundation @daniellismore @markogm @velveteccentric photography @10magazine @therealpandemonia (at The London EDITION) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9Y_61BgQEb/?igshid=ju5z4txvzsaa

where did all these alina stans pop up from who think she's an amazing character in the books??? as far as i remember even at the peak of sab hype no one LOVED her and the more you analyse the text the more unlikable she becomes, not just as a protagonist but as a character. i remember all the reviews being critical of alina, all the fans also saying they didn't really care for alina. i do think half the fandom of soc is because sab was so bad and unsatisfying both in terms of plot and in terms of characters that soc just shines in comparison.
now all of a sudden book alina is great what? at least show alina is a ball of sunshine and does make some decisions on her own - SHE decides to go after the stag, she displays empathy, she doesn't seem to have a petty grudge against EVERYONE for whatever dumb reason, SHE makes the move on darkles sparkles. show alina i could root for. she's still not my favourite fictional character or even close but i could understand stanning her.
book alina is an annoying character, she's not a great protagonist, she's not a Feminist Icon, she's not a great leader for the grisha, her endgame is boring, her thoughts are annoying, she doesn't make any decisions on her own, she's a passive character!
I don't remember any fans being like "anti" Alina per se. No one absolutely loathed and hated her the way they hated book!Mal's character. But she was such a frustrating and annoying protagonist.
It's already pretty telling that out of all the Gregverse books, the original Grisha trilogy is the only one told from a first-person perspective and yet the vast majority of fanfic about it is told from a third person perspective.
Alina was annoying. She was insecure. Her narration was grating. So much of what she says and does had a lot of readers wanting to give her a good talking to. Even Leigh admits Alina is a frustrating protagonist which I don't even understand because she's the one making her frustrating and having to drag her kicking and screaming through her own plot when she could just give her a backbone that isn't connected to some evil corruption arc.
Upon my re-read of the trilogy, I was honestly taken aback by just how much time this heroine spends whining about Mal and being an insecure mess. I must have blocked it out of my memory for my own sanity.
And the thing is, Alina starting off that way was 100% fine. Some of my favourite protagonists start off very passive and insecure and part of that makes these stories so satisfying is watching such a character grow and develop into their own. But that just doesn't really happen with Alina. Or maybe it does but it's not very convincing. Or maybe it does but the reader can't figure out how much is Alina taking control of the plot and how much is her being corrupted by the amplifiers because the book really wants to hit you with the "power is evil" agenda 🤔Also, she ends up where she starts, so did she even learn anything? 🤷🏽‍♀️
Overall, it's not that fans hate Alina. We are just disappointed with her character development and her character arc. We wanted to root for her but her journey was frustrating at best and horrifying at worst.

Can you rank your the characters in descendants? I just want to see where everyone stands in your mind. Love your blog so such!!!
(Thank youuuu)
Uma: I LOVE HER, I love her sassiness…everything! She is not a real villain, she cares deeply about others. Just wants a better life and an opportunity to show how much she is worth!
Harry: damn I love him too so much! I love how crazy he is and how he is not afraid to show it. I love his flirty ways! He is so damn in love with Uma he would do anything for her.
Gil: even if they didn’t give him much screen time, he was the funniest of them all! I love characters that make the others ‘angry’ but dont realize it because they say everything that comes to their mind in a blunt truth (SHRIMPY!!)
Evie: I really like her in particular in D2! She is successful, has a boyfriend and cares about her best friend and even the other people left one the isle! I saw a real growth, she is really mature (doesn’t even feel the need to use her mirror) ++Also what she did for dizzy was very cute damn
Ben: I don’t know how I feel about him. He is a very cute and caring boy, that doesn’t know what it means to hurt someone. On the other hand I feel like he depends too much on his love for Mal, he is the PRINCE and went like nothing on the isle for her…i know it’s love, but is it reciprocated?
Jay: we don’t know much about him (I love Aladdin so I love him too) but i really liked how he defended Lonnie and went girl power! Like a true feminist icon
Carlos: I see him as a little baby that has to be protected. I like him, he really values friendship!
Lonnie: feminist that doesn’t give a damn f, if you say she can’t do it she’ll prove she can  (her and Jay power couple)
Jane: cute…i like her relationship with Carlos
Dizzy: love her relationship with Evie, like sisters
Mal: I think we all know what I think about her lol, I just don’t like her can’t see anything good that makes her the protagonist

Descendants 2 Review
First of all, I want to start by saying that the novelization DID not do the movie justice. I didn’t love the movie and I do not think it’s better than the first one, but it wasn’t as bad as the novel made it seem.
This review will be divided into 3 parts: plot; songs; ships.
I want to add that this are mine opinions, you are more then free to disagree and if you want to talk about it I would love a polite conversation. If you are going to be rude about it, I wil block you.
Plot =
This part is the one with the biggest problems. I loved the new characters and I think we did not have enough of them. I also loved the subplot of them realizing they will always be part Isle and the hint of other VKs coming to Auradon. The character arcs for Evie, Jay, and Carlos were very good. I love that Jay is a feminist and helps Lonnie. I love Carlos being happy and talking out loud about his abuse. Evie being a fashion icon and being Ben counselor, like SLAY girl. Another thing I loved was that Dude talks, it’s amazing. I love talking animals in live action movies. Now that that’s out of the way ONTO the problems. The first problem is about structure. The movie is structured in such a way that the stakes end on the boat battle. Every thing after that screams epilogue-finale. Including the resolution of all the subplots. I guess it could be semi-believable (especially to younger viewers) the Uma x Ben thing. But it’s fairly obvious it’s a spell. He spends the entire movie trying to show her how he feels. Also the fact that no one asked Mal to changed but she made a film in her head might be interesting and believable character wise but it makes for a weak plot. Moreover, Harry and Mal weren’t supposed to be exes. Why isn’t that shown? I would have loved to see more of Ben in the Isle maybe with Mal there too before he gets captured.
The final battle was awkward and had very poor special effects, I didn’t enjoy it.
Songs =
The songs weren’t bad, they were different. Most of them will have to grow on me.
Ways to be Wicked and What’s My Name we already knew, both very catchy (what’s my name is still the best song).
Chillin Like a Villain is definitely a song that didn’t impress me immediately but after a while that I re-listen to it, it grew on me.
Space between was nice, it’s definitely a sisterhood song, but my sister points out that if you take out the context certain part of it could be a love song. I relate to a couple of lyrics with my sister and me.
It’s going down it’s like a Disney channel version of Epic Rap Battles. My sister loves this. Personally, I don’t love Rap songs so for me, it’s kind of meh.
You and Me it’s a very cheesy end of a musical song. Very high school musical. The dancing was spectacular and the best part of the song.
Kiss the girl was always meant to be a song that was just on the soundtrack, it had no place in the plot.
Poor unfortunate Souls, however, there was at least two places that song might have made sense. It’s a real shame it wasn’t in the movie.
Ships =
Mal and Ben weren’t great in this movie, it feels like instead of being six months/a year it’s been only a couple of days. They had no meaningful conversations and very little chemistry. The finale was cute, but I don’t feel the true love part.
Ben had more romantic moments and meaningful conversation with Evie and Uma then Mal. Uma and Ben had a surprising amount of chemistry (i don’t ship it, but I can see why someone might).
Evie and Dogue were adorable, mega goals. So cute.
The 4VKs for me are a family, there is a lot of sibling love there and I LOVE IT. One of my favorite plots is when a bunch of characters with a shitty family finds a new one with their friends.
Jane and Carlos, I don’t hate them and since I LOVE Carlos I am very happy for him, he looked like he really needed that hug. That said I'm not sure if it the actress or what but I personally didn’t see Jane having feelings for Carlos, to me it looked like she was excited to get a date.
Then there is the BEST ship of the all movie, UMA X HARRY. Oh my god, they are so cute. They are totally into each other. The song What’s My Name is filled with moments. It kind of feels like Uma is the only thing preventing Harry to kill someone. About the lost kiss between Harry x Gil (there is a picture online) to me, it will always be just a victory kiss, not a romantic one. I think they wanted to add the Scottish heritage into the character (because of the actor) and wanted to show him doing a typical platonic victory kiss Scottish people sometimes do (or at least they do in media). Even if Harry is not straight I don’t think he is in a relationship with Gil (they spend only 2 seconds on screen just the two of them). For me, Harry could be one of those people that don't connect Gender to Sexual Attraction and also the kind of person that loves platonic kisses on the mouth, like all the time.
OVERALL = the movie wasn’t bad and there were parts I enjoyed a lot, better than the first movie, but it could have been so much more. I’m 50/50 on it, not a total disappointment and better than the novelization but to me still not great.
