How The Magic Of Friendship Grows

This started off as a parody of a Dirty Dozen movie poster with the Main Seven and Mane Five for Friendship Is Magic’s 12th anniversary, but the line art for it came out just too pretty to use for a gag, so it gets to be its own thing and Sparky gets to make an appearance too.

Amusement park, or anything that would be something stereotypical of a "childhood" she never had that. She loves cute and exciting things so she'd just light up at an amusement park. She'd even just light up at an ice cream parlor.

Lovette Sieglinde

She'll say that she'd love some lavish restaurant or big lavish date but in actuality she'd prefer a stay at home date. Watch some cheesy romance movies and do some self care.

Kiara Sarabi

For being someone raised in the savanna, she prefers water. So a night beach date would be perfect. Someplace quiet where she can just take in all the little noises and finally get to relax (not have to worry about Leona)

Nasira Salim

Something where she can crete something, like a twst equivalent of "color me mine". She likes to collect things, because she wasn't allowed to have a lot of things (because a servant has to be ready to drop everything to serve)

Galatea Hexis

She loves to people watch, so anything with people. Or any place she can learn a lot, so like an aquarium or a museum. Android girl just wants to further her understanding of the world.

Emery Jaeger

Twst equivalent of a "build-a-bear" or couples baking classes. If her s/o wants to see her other side they can take her to an archery range where she'd be much more sarcastic and loud/"flirty"

Veil Aecor

A picnic or star gazing. When it's dark and no one is around where someone can just take in nature. While she's from the ocean she tends to avoid it out of memories.

The entity that had been summoned practically growled, a cloak like swirling galaxies- or was it swirling galaxies molded into a cloak- shimmering around their form. One pair of arms crossed over a chest where a star pulsed with the heartbeat of universes, alive yet dying as lazarus green eyes glowered down at the league and bats alike. 

“You know you could, fucking call, right?” they whined, aura of terror suddenly broken, unnatural fear torn away and leaving all of them wrong-footed and confused.

Well, apparently all of them except for Ras, who had an honest to fuck grin on his face, one that looks almost carefree, if a little feral. Nope. No thanks. Not this timeline-

something i really like about GSNK is that it’s about a group of friends, but it isn’t about a friend group. everyone knows each other so there can be interesting interactions between any combo of the main characters, but it’s not like all seven of the main characters ever hang out all together at once, so there’s never any sort of feeling that it’s forced to include everybody in every comic. 

in fact a big part of GSNK is everyone knowing each other, but not knowing that others know each other, or not knowing their ‘true identity’ (like mikoshiba being unaware of who does backgrounds for nozaki’s manga while chiyo knows, or everyone knowing seo is lorelei while wakamatsu is unaware of it).

it feels realistic in a way to portray people as having multiple overlapping friend groups instead of just only one tight group of friends who they always hang out with. it’s an interesting dynamic that i rarely see to this extent with main characters in other slice of life/sitcom series

Here is more “what if” art! We all know that headcanon of Suns being warshipped right? What if Moon was too! And both of there worshiping clashed so badly it caused tension between them and their citizens! (Probably don’t make sense cuz I thought of this at 3 in the morning) BUT listen listen!

What if this was called the Eclipse AU (even though I have an au already) and Suns and Moon were based off the Solar/Lunar eclipse!! SKEEE

I had to draw this

Lunar Moon

Instead of Moon’s usual orange and red cloak, I went with black, blue, and red. I know this kinda looks more like the blood moon, but look at the lunar eclipse it’s close enough XD

Moon is much more angrier and more serious then her original sweet self. This isn’t an official design, but me testing out what I can do with this. It may change if I’m still interested in this.

The overseers have a hint of red too. Wanted to keep that red feel

Annular Suns

Suns design was much harder to come up with cuz I thought they all fit kinda well. And I was trying to not make them look like Firelord Ozai from Avatar the last airbender (I fucking failed)

Anyways, I included hot reddish-pinks, purples, and orange. I like the tan fluff but I also like the grayish purple fluff. I can’t decide (;´༎ຶٹ༎ຶ`). Chose Annular instead cuz one that’s taken and two an Annular Eclipse is usually the one with the ring on the outside I think.

Overseer has a hint of purple and has black eyes instead. Suns still has the cold personality, just as anger issues XD

You can tell I like designing characters. Anyways here is some other art of these two.
