Erst Ultima Online, dann Everquest und zuletzt dann World of Warcraft. Charaktere leveln und verkaufen war damals echt ein boomendes Geschäft. Frag mich, ob es das heute auch noch gibt.
Habt ihr mal einen Spielcharakter ge- oder verkauft?

1998 Birmingham - Number 23 - Danijela - "Neka Mi Ne Svane"
Staying in Croatia, and in fact staying with Magazin (sort of), here is the winner of Dora 1998 Danijela Martinović. This is her second time at Eurovision having lifted Croatia to 6th place with Magazin in 1995.
She's on her own now and in a Dora stuffed full of the greats of Croatian music including, of course Magazin. To keep up with the times, Dora included a televoting element to decide the results although the regional juries were still there and retained a much stronger influence on the outcome. In effect the televote was a single extra jury alongside the other twenty.
That was of no concern to Danijela as she took Neka Mi Ne Svane (May the Dawn Never Rise) to an easy triumph, winning the televote and scoring points from every jury except for Zagreb. In Birmingham, she had a tough draw, being the first on stage. Clad in a black robe she utterly wowed the crowd who audibly cheered and applauded at the point she tossed away that robe to revel her white dress underneath. A costume reveal and Eurovision - who'd have thought?
Neka Mi Ne Svane, is a stately Balkan ballad, sung with passion and emotion by Danijela. It's a song of lonely moonlit nights tormented by the possibility of waking alone. The song was written by Petar Grašo, at the time Danijela's partner. They married in 1999. That love between singer and songwriter is evident in Danijela's performance. She took Croatia to fifth place, their third top ten finish in four years. Croatia were getting good at Eurovision.
After Danijela left Magazin in 1996, she pursued a solo career that has resulted in eight studio albums since. She's had numerous singles too with several going gold and platinum in both Croatia and Slovenia. After this performance in Birmingham, Danijela was proclaimed singer of the year by Croatian radio stations and print media. She did enter Dora once more, in 2005 with another song written by her husband. Magazin entered that year too.
