Meet my harem of tall and traumatised husbands <3 I didn't want to go into details of their characters because that wouldtake a loooong time. This post is just a little list :3

1. Loki

Look at this face. This is the face of a god. I love this poor little meow meow. He's in a desperate need for a hug and therapy. He likes green, and I respect that 👏 Seriously somebody please hug him. This person could ask me to gift them the stars, and I would do that. Loki deserves the world <3

2. Miguel O'hara

Look at him. I need you to look at him. He's gorgeous. And Oscar Isaac voiced him. And his a genius. He was a scientist before he became spider-man and he build his own suit using nano tech. That's very nerdy of him. I love everything about him. He has some serious anger issues. And fangs. Venomous fangs. I'm so horny for this man

3. Optimus Prime

Big alien robot <3 My brain goes brrrr every time I see him. The biggest softie and the greenest green flag. Please just give him a break. My baby is constantly under stress.

4. Din Djarin

HE'S SUCH A GOOD CHARACTER LET ME MARRY HIM. An amazing father. Him and Grogu (baby yoda) are such cute little family. And his voice? Pedro Pascal knew what he was doing. I would die if Din Djarin looked at me. Instant and beautiful death.

5. Stephen Strange

Magic man! He has a really interesting character (I'm talking mostly about comic Stephen). He loves his wife from another dimension. An insecure little boy that needs a hug and 2 weeks vacation to finally fucking relax. Seriously, man, take a freaking break.

6. Megatron

Is he a manic tyran with genocidal tendencies? Yes. But I could fix him. I like the "more than meets the eye" version of megatron because he's in his redemption arc era in those comics and the fanfics about that SLAP.The amount of angst and guilt you read in those stories? That's my shit.

Special mention:

Castiel and Dean Winchester

I had to mention them. I love those characters. I would die for them. An angel and monster hunter. I am not normal about them. They are perfect in every way. And the fanfics about those two slap hard. I cried several times while reading stories about them. Also they are married.

I found all the Asimovs on audiobook originally, but I've been slowly collecting the physical books at thrift stores. I prefer the weird old covers to the plain modern ones you can get at B&N, and these old versions often have interesting ads for more books at the end or funny dedications at the front. I half-love and half-hate how mismatched they are, but the excitement of finding a new one outweighs my other feelings.

Prelude: a cracked-binding October 1991 Bantam reissue, with a cheesy cover by Will Cormier of an Edward-Norton-looking Hari Seldon checking into a fabulous pink Trantorian hotel. There is an ad in the middle for a collector's edition of the original Foundation novel with the awesome Michael Whelan cover + a copy of the new and "exclusive" short story Cal (I've read it, it rules, though it's a bit of a clip show). In the back, there is an ad for the upcoming novel Forward the Foundation (the best one but not part of my collection yet), TWO author bios and an adorable author photo. Asimov would die shortly after, in April 1992 :(

Foundation: a 1985 reprint by British publisher Panther Books, with a stunning wraparound cover by Tim White of the Foundation's lonely settlement on Terminus. There is an order form in the back for dozens of classic sci-fi books by multiple authors, with prices marked in pounds. I wonder how this European book crossed the pond to end up at a used book store in California? I'm glad it did, or I never would have heard of Tim White.

Second Foundation: a 1987 12th printing by Del Rey, with the iconic Michael Whelan cover of Arkady Darrel my beloved standing among the ruins of Trantor. This is my favorite cover of them all🥰 There is a long-ish and funny intro by Asimov about this series' complicated publication history, and an ad in the back for the original Foundation trilogy + the first spinoff, Foundation's Edge.

Foundation's Edge: a first-edition 1982 hardback by Doubleday. It is missing the dust jacket, which isn't a huge loss since, according to Google images, it's not that interesting. It does have a funny dedication.

Robots of Dawn: a "Book Club Edition" 1983 hardback by Doubleday. It still has the dust jacket, designed by Kiyoshi Kanai; the cover isn't that special but the jacket does have another great author photo inside. There is also some water damage on the last pages (probably from some Giskard x Daneel fan's tears).

Complete Robot: a "Book Club Edition" 1982 hardback by Doubleday. The wraparound robot-arm dust jacket by Kiyoshi Kanai is simple but cool as hell, and features a great big author photo that fills the whole back cover☺️ There is also a lovely "Last Word" that makes me tear up a bit.

Stars, Like Dust: a 1983 hardback "Book Club Edition" reprint by Doubleday. The dust jacket features nice wraparound art by Joe Bergeron. In the afterword, Asimov apologizes for the outdated science of his fictional lifeless world's atmospheric composition, since the book was first published in 1950. He doesn't apologize here for the stupid US Constitution subplot that his editor forced him to add, though I know from other sources that he really hated that thing.

Gods Themselves: a cracked-binding paperback by Fawcett Crest, with no date given besides the 1972 copyright. The cover art is absolutely fantastic and bananas; I think it depicts the 3 gender roles of the aliens' marriage, and the 2 worlds colliding. The book doesn't credit the artist, but ISFDB online identifies him as Charles Moll. Thanks Charles Moll👏👏👏

I love seeing him laughing and being a normal teenager because I think sometimes he forget that he' s a teenager and being to though to him self. (╯︵╰,)

And yes.. Poor Yuu have go through a lot of things.. (ﾉ_-;)…

And every chapter the more intense the problem each dorm served. From facing a strict dorm leader first OB experience, and then being a detective searching for answers of how weird the students gets hurt and fighting OB Leona who cheated on the competition. Giving our dorm to Azul and at the end we fight him as an ob as well. Getting trapped in Scarabia and felt all of the training that is of course very tiring, and fight OB Jamil at the end. Being a manager, manage a team alone with the help of Vil, the dream of great seven strated to get wild, Mickey, seeing someone almost committee murder (poisoning Neige), fight Vil in his OB. And sneakinh into a SECRET ORGANIZATION that is not a lot of people can get into (๑•̀д•́๑) and all of the phantom thing, Yuu almost experience death shoot bye a styx robot, and now they will face TWO OB at the same time. Surely Yuu is very though.

You asked for comments on your nsfw stuff. So here goes.

I adore the ‚stranger facets‘ series for quite a few reasons.

First of all, cause I love this particular ship and with the robot stuff you managed to make it work without having to twist the canon story badly out of shape.

The second, and more important, reason is the way you write those two and their developing relationship. That despite (or maybe because?) all the crazy ideas and experimentation, they always look out and are mindful of each other, without going overboard (there can be too much of a good thing).

The third reason is language. It is extremely hard to write something explicit and still keeping it tasteful. You have that down to a T.

And fourth is the fact that there even is a story, character/relationship development. The nsfw bits are like an added bonus. But it would only be half as enjoyable without everything else that’s happening in between.

I‘m glad to hear you are not done with the series just yet, curious to see what Samus was working on.

Aw, I was just being dramatic, but thank-you so much for responding! It really does make my day when people take the time, but don't let me being whiny wring responses and asks out of people. I just like to gripe. 😛

I didn't expect to get so invested in this ship (generally I'm not, for various reasons/hcs) but in this context I... got attached, and then I got carried away. When I started thinking about The Implications of Samus's ask at the end of "Black Eye" (originally intended as a bit of a throwaway line, tbh), this whole extended scenario started getting away from me and I just wanted to do more!

The relationship aspect is... important to me. Maybe it's because I can't help but write way too much preamble to my smut but contextualizing everything felt important, and showing the progress and change was actually kind of cathartic in its own way. While writing the angst of two people getting to know one another is fun for a bit, it's much nicer to be able to show two characters at their most comfortable with each other. (Comfortable enough to, say, let things get weird...)

And it's 👏about 👏the 👏trust! Smut (or any fic really) that highlights mutual trust and tenderness in a relationship is primo shit to me. I love it. So that was the tone I wanted to take with this little series. It's also been... a learning experience for me as well? This is one of my more serious forays into nsfw writing so I'm glad to know it reads as tasteful. Really anatomical writing puts me off, I don't think I could manage it myself (but to each their own) so I've erred on the 'non-graphic' side. Good to know that works for other people, too.

I have at least one more entry, after which I will probably be out of ideas. I don't want to spoil too much (for the handful of you who actually care and aren't just super weirded out by me right now), but I will say there is a bit of a pattern emerging now that the third part is out...
