Andre’s akumatization is really the representation of a little something called “toxic shippers”.

Toxic shippers are like the average shipper, about their ships, but what separates “toxic shippers” from the average shipper is that they spiral out of control when “canon” material or even other ships threaten their ship. So much so to the point these “toxic shippers” resort to spreading hate, acting out, or really just making sure to sink anything else that isn’t their own ship by camouflaging this behavior as “salt” or “critiques”.

That’s on that.

The whole adrien is a sentimonster storyline is only a thing cuz the fan theory is so popular and the show wanna give us a fan serves. Don't believe me just watch miracular adrien doesn't go crazy after getting cataclysm like how senties usually are according to the lore. And in the early season gabriel doesn't use a ring on adrien every 5 second unlike in s4 onward. So yeah that's my reasoning to believe that the show don't plan the senti adrien plot from the start.

And i still don't get why they made kagami a senti monster?

MAN THE MUSICAL NUMBERS CAUGHT ME SO OFF GUARD I HAD TO PAUSE AND STARE FROWNING okok!!! so the thing was that one time agessss ago you said liking ml fanfics is just wanting to read the same story over and over again and after that textbook 2016 post reveal final kiss that sentence just flashed in my mind and everything that happened in the movie (the ladynoir patrol fighting in the rooftops, the adrien snapping at his dad, gabriel being actually decent) just shifted in context for me and the realization of how fanfic coded the movie is and how that directly related to my enjoyment was so clear i couldnt stop laughing hdhshsjs

i remember saying that and its STILL TRUE!! And honestly you're putting it in perspective for me, thats why i liked the things i liked about the movie. like the ladynoir patrol fighting on the roofs also did lowkey make my dreams come true they could have done whatever they wanted in the rest of the movie, that scene is what i live for.

And that last scene really did feel like it was out of a fanfic, A 2016 FANFIC, its OLD FANDOM VIBES. back when we were still chewing up the concept of a reveal and not picking apart the bones of adrien's identity like mad scientists.

I remember thinking im sure ive read this scene somewhere. idk where but i have. all of it in different pieces a million times.

Hot take but I think Adrinette was always more likely to get together in a pre-reveal situation than Ladynoir. And this isn’t about preferring one side of the square to the other (they are! the same people!). I just think that Marinette is a lot more set in her ways when it comes to Chat than Adrien is when it comes to Marinette. And there are reasons for that. Like sure, we’ve read hundreds of fics where the issue of Chat Blanc is talked over in varying degrees and then set aside, but it’s still really real for her?! (And to be honest, I want PRPR so like...I don’t really need ANY side to date pre-reveal ahaha. but the love square...not necessarily reversing but becoming a line or whatever...really makes the journey more interesting)

omg i was so pissed off when i saw that "hot take: ml looks like cocomelon" tweet earlier today!! i swear 50% of that app is people who spend a lot of time complaining about shows they don't like lol

It has almost 30K likes and it just reminded me how the internet today loves and dwells in negativity, regardless if it's true or not. What annoyed me the most was how people used this tweet as an opportunity to praise how 'amazing' the PV style is and how we were 'robbed' of it, not taking a second to do some research and see why that concept was scrapped in the first place.

ML has such a pretty animation style, character and environment design and brilliant animation (especially in season one). Everyone praised it to death when it debuted!

But no. Apparently today, if anything is too bouncy and lighthearted and not covered in dark moody clouds and isn't a 2D anime, it's clearly cocomelon 2.0.

I adore both the 2D and 3D concepts and I'm happy they chose the route they did.

But anyways, Miraculous is an international success whether people online love it or not. We are not the target audience. Twitter and TikTok will be what they are.

And I'm gonna draw and write to my heart's content~
