LOKI SEASON 2, EPISODE 4 SPOILERS
Okay... so that happened
Tumblr media
Obviously they're not "dead". But since that all happened at the end, I'm somewhat convinced we'll finally get this scene from one of the season 1 trailers:
Tumblr media
That's the Stark Tower, as this next photo shows from Endgame:
Tumblr media
The decor matches and I'm guessing the elevator blends into the wall. The lamps are blurry in the gif but they're there. What if instead of dying from "spaghettification", they're all sent back to their original timelines?? Like with pruning, they don't die, they're sent to a place at the end of time. A fake death.
This Loki looks different. He doesn't have the gelled, Christmas tree hair, his armor doesn't have the gold plating, he looks like he has his hair from the series, and if you look closely in the reflection he has the scepter. What if when the loom exploded, Loki, and everyone else, was sent back to their OG timeline, or replaced the them that was already there, hence the different appearance. It's a long shot since the gif was from a season 1 trailer and their timelines were already pruned, but I'm kinda convinced since they obviously aren't dead because the series isn't over.
If this isn't the case, then I've got a fanfic in my drafts about this potential scenario lol

My ATLA Live Action Review
Tumblr media
Update 270224: why they add new icons and did another bait of katara and zuko placement? No you can't say it is not intentional...😂🔥🌊💕
Okaay..as you know.. I am a long fans of ATLA and pretty hardcore for the 3 animation books (not really a fans of the comics and TLOK tho).. as you know too..after the live action movie disaster, we really lower our expectations..but after the Netflix OPLA and some of the ATLALA trailer..I kinda increase my expectations..
I watched all 8 episodes yesterday (it premiered 22 Feb 2024 at 15.00-23.30 WIB)..
Let's see my general favorites part, not so favorite and then some takes for each main characters (for me it's a good and acceptable live action and worth to watch!)
Spoilery Area
Favorite parts:
- they explore the air nomads culture more, a bit of how airbender doing their bending.. and also the heart wrenching genocide on screen 🫠 I was crying... Also monk Gyatso!!! Huhuhu
- The costume and trinket are super details and vibrants which really beautiful. Although I wish they make it a bit dirty because that outfits supposedly a daily used outfits but for me it was just too clean and spotless 😂
- The lighting during bending and even during night combats is bright!!!! Finally I can see anything! It kinda feels like the LOTR battle of helms deep because we know it's night but it still bright enough to see what is happening! A rare occurrence in many series or movies nowaday (yeah Loki S2 I am looking at you)
- the CG!! For me is very decent and believable.. okay I knew for Appa it's look a bit dirty and not real enough..but they shot it in a day clear!! You know how cg nowadays always hidden in a dark screen..so it's still pretty good and need to be appreciated. And even Momo behaves like my cat..and I feeling emotional for him too..(especially on the last episode huhu)
- They add more details that I believe only a fans speculation before..and I thought its show how they probably researching on the fandom thought too (example, Ozai marking Zuko by putting his hand directly onto his face)
- It's not a 1on1 copy so it's still surprising what's gonna happened in each episodes and also which episodes actually it's referencing to. Ep.3 is the good example on combining Haru + Jet arc and also Theo arc, with the Katara and Sokka sibling clash due to difference believe (in the animation it happened during the canyon episode)
- Jet..so handsome..I am sorry..I understand now why Katara like him in the animation hahahaha
- Dallas Liu as Zuko!! *Chef kiss his combat and his intonation~~ aaaaaaa
- they build the mental burden of fire nation characters early on. I think it was to smoothen the Zuko to Gaang if there's a S2
What I don't really like:
- They changed characters traits and weaknesses which later impacting other characters trait too. For example, Sokka not sexist made him a tamer brother for Katara, which later impacted her character too..(gonna explained more in my characters takes review).
- No Haru in this live action...I FEEL DEVASTATED
- Suki why are you becoming so awkward 🥹🫠 (the only part I feel cringe during the entire 8 episodes was unfortunately during Suki and Sokka interaction huhuhu..while in the animation that's my favorite part..)
- apparently Oma Shu legend changes now....🤔
- they really burned anyone to crisps huhuhu. I never imagined that Katara's mom died from burning alive and in agony..huhuhuuu the same also happened to Monk Gyatso if I remembered correctly huhuhu)
- the bending stances for some people kinda off. Some of the time it looks perfect (Zuko..wow!!and the earthbender in the ep 1 *applause), but sometimes it not firm enough, especially for the earthbenders in Omashu....;A; it could be better...
My review on the characters
Aang:
Gordon as his actor really looks like Aang, especially when he smiles. His voice is similar too. Although this Aang is a bit too serious, mature and rarely joking. I know..it maybe because the tone of this LA also a lot more darker..(but I wish he enjoy himself more...🥹🥹). He really feels like an adult in a child body for this live action...(but this was the development which I wish the animated Aang in Book 3 did).
I feel bad for him tho.. every adult really blamed him for disappeared that night (Bumi, Suki's mom, even the other Avatars). The adult avatars seems to be a broken and imperfect adult too....I wonder if Yangchen gonna be different?
I was so happy when he finally met Monk Gyatso again in the spirit world and when he said that all of this that happened in the past was not Aang's faults. Because it really is NOT his fault..Oh poor boy.
Tho now I wonder why Gyatso only stayed in the spirit world for that particular moment...? He said that time working differently there.. but Katara and Sokka whom also was in the spirit world are still alive.. so it's should not be too long, right?
I wonder when Aang gonna try learning waterbending tho? And how can he visited Roku's temple quickly?
Sokka:
Ian looks like Sokka.. and I always laughing whenever he's doing his dry jokes..haha (but unfortunately it's not many..maybe because we only have 8 episodes).
Anyway, Sokka here is a very responsible leader, kinda awkward, felt more introverted than his animation counterpart. He actually has Stark vibes from Frieren in this LA.
One of weakness from the original Sokka is how extremely sexist he is..which rooted from how sexist the water tribe in general. However this LA toning it down until it almost none for Sokka. And this impacted his relation with Katara, because in LA, he actually still felt like older brother!! Even since early episode..
Katara:
The actress actually nailed as her..I love how she looks like when she is in Katara's outfit. I think her Katara is more gentle, (maybe because of her natural face), thus her Katara tends to looks like smiling a lot.. which is a good thing. But unfortunately in some scenes --which I wish gonna have a lot more intense emotion (anger or headstrong) --it was not really shown perfectly.
As I written above, some of her traits kinda disappear here. In the animation, she IS the mother of the Gaang. Very bossy sometimes and very scary when angry. She is independent and know what she wanted to do and mostly the one who reminds Aang and Sokka to finding the waterbending teacher for Aang in the NP. However, due to the change of traits she felt like a normal younger sister for Sokka and even Aang. She often ask "so what we gonna do now?" And Aang is the one who was like.."we need to go to the North Pole ASAP!!"
Anw, I love her bending tho.. I think the water animations looks very good! Especially when fighting with Zuko or other firebender. She seems to be very adaptive and perceptive, because she used other bending movement for her own waterbending skillsets. What I think can be improved is maybe her stance.. in LA, she used a pretty advance waterbending with loads of water.. but her legs stance not wide and make it looks like not firm and balance enough...
Zuko:
Dallas Liu!! Standing applause for you because for me you ARE Prince Zuko! His intonation very similar to Dante Basco's Zuko. I also learned that he actually really love Zuko and did research for both of his predecessor (yes, Dante n Dev Patel's Zuko too). I was impressed with his martial art skills. His firebending look very believable, he also did his own stunt I think? especially when doing bending n using weapons..
His acting as a confused but honorable young man also very good. I cried 3 times in this LA, which were during airbender genocide, Katara's mom death and when Zuko cries after his father announce banishment (when he was just laying on his bed helpless, tired, sad and defeated). We can see how he's just a boy..and I cried.
I love his interaction with Aang too. He seems more open to conversation early on. Even when Aang asking about the type of brush that he used for his journal... he answer it.. hahaha.
He loves Iroh and really respected Luten. We can already see him as a honorable young man early on.
Intermezzo Shipping potential
Zutara: Zuko and Katara interactions mostly during battle,, but there're one scene which I count as zutara crumbs in Ep. 3. When he touched Katara's scarf in slow motion. I wonder if it was the setup for the slowburn unrequited love of Zutara (aaah why my OTPs road so painful) but it's huge for me!! I was screaming when I saw this scene. Also when Aang, Katara and Zuko interacted in Kuruk's shrine, when Aang said " Don't be too hard" " I am not talking to you" was very funny haha. During the battle also, he seems to noticed Katara's bending progress, which is funny because it shows how Zuko really is a bending nerd, both in the series and during the interview (Dallas once said that waterbender really difficult because you need to stay still with a low stances)..both loves bending!!
Jetara: Well... now I understand why Katara like Jet in the original, because he looks hella FINE, in the LA he looks so handsome! xD but anyway, I think Jet in the LA was combination of Haru and Jet. In the beginning when he said " my wife and my brother and law", I was like... hmm maybe Jetara is very plausible too. I hope the LA gonna use different take and gives him a redemption arc too. It'll be so saad if he ends up like in the original ;_;
Harutara: Not possible. Haru not even in this LA....so saaaaaad. Really wish his character indeed combines with Jet tho. Hopefully it gonna change Jet's fate a bit
Kataang: They changed the secret tunnel story, Katara was trapped with Sokka and not Aang. But when they playing with water together they're seems very cute! besides in the final episode Katara said " I need you" to the spirit-combined Aang. So it still possible for a proper writing of their relationship! Which is great! ( because my only complain of the original Kataang is how OOC the characters sometimes)
Sukka: Suki looks very pretty in the LA. However the writing made her an awkward girl who seems to be very shy and cannot convey her words clearly. she seems to greatly simping for Sokka without clear reason. I mean, during her interaction with Sokka, she rarely talking... Just staring to him....awkwardly.........she is kinda like Fern in Frieren hahaha. So their interaction here is like Fern x Stark, thus it still very possible. BUT I miss the original Suki characteristics though.. I miss her lines" I am a warrior but I am a girl too". Too bad it's not in this LA..
Yue x Sokka: LA Yue has more confident and autonomy than the original. Her vibes here is like the animation Suki. She can chose partner for herself and since she's not betrothed to Hahn anymore, her relationship with Sokka isn't gonna be awkward. If she was not need to sacrifice herself to be a moon...they could be canon. (Also, Yue could waterbend?!)
Yue x Hahn: I never ever ship them in the original series. Because original Hahn was an arrogant and annoying young man, but here in LA, he's very kind, listen to other's feedback , was handsome too. He respect Yue and basically a very good man (he has Haru's vibes). So when he's dead I was so saaaaaad.... but, because now Yue becoming Moon spirit, I believe Hahn's spirit return to the Ocean. Thus they could be together again.. dancing eternally as part of Tui and La.
Fire Nation
Iroh: I love how he already portrayed as a pacifist FN who loves his nephew so much. In the original, early Iroh still a bit morally grey.. but in this LA, they just makes him friendly to the avatar and the spirit world since the beginning. So glad when he explained what sacrifice that Zuko's did to the 41th army (his current crewmates). Zuko deserves love!!
Ozai: He was more enigmatic and manipulative than in the original. He likes to gaslighting his children. I found it confusing in the beginning...because he appears to be more emotional (sometimes I noticed his teary eyes when talking to his children), which makes me (as the watcher) thought that he was actually care. But apparently not.. he did that just so his children can fighting to get his approval. For example, when Azula mentioned Zhao as the one who found the avatar, Ozai was like "no it's your brother Zuko", which made Azula even more angry and envied the 'unlucky Zuko'. While in reality, Ozai did that so Azula fueled with hatred to his brother and can be motivated to be the very best. The original Ozai more stoic and seems to be more on brawn than brain. But this Ozai is more psycho..
Azula: ooh poor princess Azula, hated by her mother unloved by her father. She's only a tool for Ozai. In the LA, Azula sometimes looks calm and deadly, but most of the times in front of her father or friends, she always lose her temper, and can't really control herself. I actually miss her original calm, precise and deadly self.. but maybe it's the mental build up for her last Agni Kai?? Anyway WHERE IS HER BLUE FLAME?? is it for the next season? I saw her flame color changed to blue for a second right before she doing the lightning bending... but still... Where is her blue flame? it just different without her signature flames..
Tylee and Mai: they not show their skillsets yet, but Mai already shown that she's the calmest one and has clear mind in compare to Azula.
Zhao: I hate him. I think the actor did a good job because I really want to punch him on the face. His appearance was different with the original (lieutenant Gee more looks like the animation Zhao). He's a lot more like snake in this LA.
41th crewmember: Yeah they should be very loyal to Zuko.. glad in the end they respected him again. Although maybe they're all dead after the battle in NP. Still sad that Iroh didn't sing Four Seasons song with them in this LA..huhuhu
But TLDR. This Live Action is very enjoyable for me and has reached my expectations
Not too many scenes that made me feel cringe (only the Suki part I guess)
so.. 9.5/10 for me.
Ps. I was writing till finished but somehow tumblr cannot save it and half of my review gone... And I am not in the mood yet to rewrite all of it again...*cries
pps. finally finished! some review probably changed since I forgot what I was writing before...

💙 hi and welcome to my ted talk about the latest episodes of what if, please read through (3) 💙
First of all. Why is season 2 so...happy?
I'm not complaining. Marvel has enough sad stories for a lifetime, but I found that, instead of exploring demises, we're now seeing victories. Old villains find their insight and become heroes (Hela, Nebula, Gamora) and lives are influenced for the better, earlier on (Peter Quill, Bucky, Hope).
It might be nothing.
But I think it's something.
You know what season 2 of what if comes right after? Season 2 of Loki. And, as you'll see at the end of this post, their colors are making themselves known.
Could it be that, from his throne, Loki got sick of watching sad stories and seeing worlds die? There is a chance, I don't know how plausible, but there is, that he's influencing all that we saw this season. A little hope here, a little time there, and, using their free will, everyone gets a second chance.
That, or Uatu felt bad for us and wanted to gift us in honor of New Year being in 1-2 days. Do tell me if you have additions on that.
If I had to bet on something, it would be the overall fan reaction to the opening scene. I screamed, yes. Did they expect us to see Loki's name there in the subtitles and be totally chill about it?
"To be or not to be, that is the question"
Tumblr media
I can totally see Tom having this idea for the opening scene: just Loki reciting Hamlet, and altough to his brother's bordedom, acting from Shakespeare. And it was the best idea he could have.
It's a missable detail, but Thor mentions Mjölnir! And you know how? As a gift...for Loki!
He responds to that with "I...have misplaced it" which is, yeah, typical, but how do you just lose Mjölnir, Loki? The idea, however, is that he'd be able to lift it, which I would have loooved to see on screen. But this was fun to have too.
And the response to Captain Carter's "You're a bigger drama queen than your brother" (talking to Thor)?? 😭
"Blessed"
Tumblr media
Can we also point out how insane it is that after just being stripped from her home in an unknown world, Peggy still wanted to help?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She not only has a hero's soul, she is that brave as to turn down The Watcher's warnings and offers to take her back safe. And remember, not everyone can hear Uatu as he narrates. But she can, sometimes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"What if, what if, what if. I have to try."
"Not on my watch"
This ambition of hers, is, of course, given by her humanity too. But that's not only a bad thing. The Watcher's all knowing, his experience of seeing worlds die everyday, has made him unsensible (from our point of view). That's not the case for Peggy.
Amidst all her adventures, however, perhaps she's also searching to avenge the love she lost, searching for her happy ending. In the movie Endgame, I have to admit she felt optional, like Steve wasn't meant to be there with her. But not now.
Tumblr media
I wish The Watcher told her she has a happy ending somewhere.
I don't know about you, but this episode...is my favourite ever from the series. It used to be the Strange Supreme one, but that's on the second place of the podium now.
We got to see queen Hela, drama prince/ actor Loki, king Thor. Bucky, NOT the Winter Soldier, and Steve, finally on the same page! Scarlet Witch!! Using her powers for good, not corrupted. All of them in cool costumes too. If things like these were on live action, I'd lose my f- mind, if I haven't already. :))
And now the green. The "rifts" that are tearing this world apart are very familiar in color.
Tumblr media
And this is not the only thing that's turning green, when it used to be multi-colored. The prism, too, the one from which The Watcher watches and narrates. And I'm not talking about the Time Stone. I'm talking about the tree of life, and how it might actually have a serious impact over everything. I mean, does Uatu know anything? And what was that decorated Yggradsil in the trailer, before the holidays?
Nevertheless, I think it's related in some way, and if it's not, don't blame me. I really like green.
That being said, thanks for reading <3

Disney Content Showcase APAC 2022: ‘Loki Season 2’ Trailer Shows Mobius Back In Action With Trickster God(s) | Geek Culture
Things are brewing in the multiverse, and a new trailer for Loki Season 2 shows just how hectic the action will be. During the Marvel panel at the Disney Content Showcase APAC 2022, the House of Mouse graced the show floor with a fresh look at the six-episode series, which also teases the return of a familiar face: Mobius M. Mobius.
Tumblr media
The trailer starts off with the opening of an elevator door, showing someone flipping through the pages of a book. Loki walks into the frame, but wait, something’s off — as it turns out, the individual is the Trickster God himself, who soon finds himself glitching.
Having travelled through time and different multiverses, the Loki variation says that he has seen awful things, and reveals a statue of Kang behind a wall. The Conqueror makes his highly-anticipated entrance, and is seen with Mobius, previously believed to be dead, who now has a new haircut.
In a similar vein, the characters from the first season, Ravonna, Sylvie, and Hunter B-15, also make a reappearance as Loki warns of war. Multiple variations of the God of Mischief take to the battlefield to stop the war together, with Mobius returning to the fold and lending his aid.
With Kang finally arriving to the Disney+ series, Loki Season 2 will have a lot to live up to, especially for the comic book fans. The sequel is slated to debut sometime in mid-2023, with Everything Everywhere All At Once star Ke Huy Quan (best known for playing Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom) starring in an undisclosed role. Marvel is expected to release this latest trailer in official capacity soon, but a specific date has yet to be announced.

Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson are back in mischief mode in “Loki” Season 2, the first footage of which has debuted courtesy of Disney+’s 2023 preview trailer. The “Loki” footage shows Hiddleston’s beloved anti-hero up to no good in the Time Variance Authority. In another scene, Loki and Wilson’s Mobius are surrounded by Loki clones. “A little over the top, don’t you think?” Mobius asks Loki.
Plot details for “Loki” Season 2 remain under wraps. Sophia Di Martino will be back as Lady Loki, as will Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Renslayer. “Indiana Jones” and “Everything Everywhere All at Once” favorite Ke Huy Quan is joining the cast as a new character.
“Season 2 picks up where Season 1 left off,” Tom Hiddleston told fans at Disney’s D23 convention in September. “Loki is back in the TVA and Mobius doesn’t seem to know who he is.”
“It’s a little bit like that Talking Heads song,” Wilson added “And in season two we’re going to answer, ‘How did I get here?’”
“Loki” was renewed for Season 2 by Disney+ last July, the same day as the Season 1 finale. The second season began production over the summer. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has said that “Loki” is Disney+’s most-watched Marvel series. Season 1 writer Eric Martin is penning all the episodes of the second season, while “Moon Knight” directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead are helming the majority of the episodes.
“Fans are gonna be in for a real treat because the show is bolder and more surreal,” Mbatha-Raw told Entertainment Tonight about the new season. “And in many ways, goes to some bigger, bolder places than season 1, which is really exciting.”
The Disney+ 2023 preview also includes the first shot from the new “Star Wars” series “Ahsoka,” starring Rosario Dawson, plus new footage from David Lowery’s “Peter Pan and Wendy” and the Pixar series “Win or Lose.”
Watch the full Disney+ 2023 teaser in the video below.

Hi folks!
Since its going to be a much more asynchronous experience watching Loki season 2, I thought I'd pin this post to my blog.
I'd love you to tag me when you post your thoughts on each episode 'cause I'll probably miss your post otherwise. And feel free to tag me even if we're not mutuals or anything. :)
I'm coming at this from the position of not really loving season 1 but enjoying some aspects of it, so my comments are likely to be both positive and negative, be warned. This post goes into more detail. But it turns out I've actually really enjoyed the second season so far!
My first reaction to Episode 1 is here. It contains spoilers.
Episode 2 posts here, here, and here. All with spoilers.
Episode 3 here and here.
And a quick rundown and some speculation on the scenes from the trailer we haven't seen yet at the halfway point and after episode 4.
Suspicious looking moments that I think might turn out to be important.
Episode 4 here and here.
Breakdown of the mid season trailer here.
Episode 5 here.
And the series finale Episode 6 here.

I would like to convey how truly insane the last few months have been for me on a queer/pop culture/adhd hyperfixation level (it's a long list):
april/may ish: ted lasso s3. trent crimm, fav character since s1 is confirmed to be queer - something that I had quietly headcanoned but didn't think would actually happen in the series
july: wwdits s5. (I learned how to pirate tv shows for this one.)
also july: good omens s2. (it was fun and gentle and romantic until I discovered that ofmd s1 prepared me for the emotional destruction of that last episode)
also in july: grandson concert!
end of august. ofmd s2 trailer.
september: taskmaster s16 starts! very fun and very homosexual
the stressful hour in september that was getting noah kahan concert tickets
then came october. three shows all started within the same two days (all are massive hyperfixations)
oct 5: our flag means death s2
also oct 5: loki s2 (literally didn't know about this one until the day of lol)
oct 6: bbc ghosts s5
also october: the magnus protocol trailer
I think the loki s2 finale should get it's own point on the list due to how much mental space it occupied.
writers and actors strikes end! the amount of ofmd s2 bts content was and still is absolutely wild
november: the ballad of songbirds and snakes movie!
and now I just found out that amulet book 9 is being released in february 2024. somehow I missed that announcement from a month ago
in the upcoming months, so far its looking like:
bbc ghosts s5 christmas special
the magnus protocol
the final amulet book
noah kahan concert

My humble thoughts on The Marvels
Tumblr media
The Marvels is a fun, brisk (perhaps too brisk), light-hearted buddy super-herione adventure. However, the things that Marvel has been struggling with lately are unfortunately still in the play with this sequel. The plot is pretty thin and the villain is another of Marvel's typical shallow, one dimensional type baddies. While we can certainly understand and even sympathize with Dar-Benn's motivations and why she's doing the things she's doing in this film there just isn't enough meat on the script bones for actress, Zawe Ashton to work with although she well with what she's given. The same goes for the plot. The acts that the villain is perpetrating on the planets and its people in this film definitely qualify as high stakes material but the film's pace is so rapid that it ignores any opportunity to show some emotional stakes for the victims of the villain's atrocities.
So while the film downplays these aspects it chooses to focus more on the relationships between the three heroines. In that respect it does a decent job of bonding these three young women along the course of the film into a sisterly dynamic. Each have issues with each other positive and negative and by the end they've been able to work through their issues and understand each other better. Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani have good chemistry together with Iman continuing to charm and delight as Kamala Kahn/Ms. Marvel. Sam Jackson is great as Fury as usual and has some of the funnier lines in the movie. And let's not forget Goose the cat/flerken who kinda stole the show in the first movie. She's back and is involved a lot more this time to equally humorous results.
I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the fights in this film. I thought they were hard hitting, well choreographed and fun to watch. The fight between Monica and Kree soldiers in the Kahn's house was a stand out sequence which I thought made clever use of her powers. The end fight between the trio and Dar-Benn was also equally exciting . The visual effects were very good and consistent throughout which is another area where Marvel has been struggling lately. With this film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and Loki Season 2, the VFX quality appears to be back on track.
Honestly my biggest gripe would be with the marketing department for this film. The amount of trailers, tv spots and clips released for this film was ridiculous. I only watched the first two trailers and maybe a couple of the tv spots and I felt like I had seen most of movie already. I watched the rest of the clips afterwards and was shocked at how much more of this movie was spoiled in the clips I hadn't watched beforehand. Even the surprise cameo and part of the fricking post credit scene was shown in a couple of the spots! If you're someone who did watch every bit of footage that was released I can honestly say you saw most of the movie beforehand and that's unfortunate. Given the film's short runtime you can rest assured there was a lot of material cut from the final film. I've already noticed a few things that were in the marketing footage and test screening leaks that were missing from the final cut.
Overall, despite a simplistic story and a forgettable villain this movie is still a lot of fun. While it is mostly standalone in nature, it is also very much a sequel to not only Captain Marvel but WandaVision and Ms. Marvel as well. (Surprisingly there's zero reference to Secret Invasion despite the Skrulls having a role to play in this film but that's probably for the best given how poor that series turned out to be.) The post-credit scene however is a game changer and hints at some exciting possibilities to come. ⭐⭐⭐

loki series s2 e4
i'll try one of them read-more thingies here
I did go "oh they'll all die now, won't they?" and am not actually as freaked out by the cliffhanger as other people seem to be, which I am blaming on those many years of watching Dr Who finales where everything is totally fucked up by the cliffhanger so now you KNOW they're just gonna time-travel and fix shit/push the reset button in the next episode. (Thanks RTD, I guess??)
Anyway there's two episodes left and there's still some stuff from the trailer we haven't seen yet, so I assume there's some timey-wimey stuff that'll let them try again and get it right next time. We never did find out what caused ep1!Loki to time-slip did we? Was it this, somehow? Speaking of him my most anxiety moment was when he showed up and ep4!Loki was gonna prune him, because I worried about my poor blorbetta in the lift watching him die in front of her again, but she didn't seem upset by it so I suppose it's okay.
I AM GLAD SOMEONE POINTED OUT THAT MOBIUS IS TOO FUCKING CALM DURING ALL OF THIS! That means it's deliberate, not just one of those weird tonal mismatches where some character doesn't seem to be in the same reality as the others! He's probably trying very hard not to think about upsetting things like everyone dying or his native timeline and how he can never return to it :'( Poor Mobius.
I enjoyed this episode much more than the last one, yay! It did feel at times like too much was happening, with how many different plot threads we were flipping between, and there's a bit too much technobabble. What was going on with Timely having a part that would fix a problem that shouldn't have happened anyway? I was expecting him to be Up To Something, especially when he wanted to go and get some cocoa I was like "he's very keen to get out of that room isn't he?" and I still don't trust him generally but then he turned into spaghetti so apparently not. Unless he became pasta on purpose, which seems unlikely but weirder things have happened.
Anyway! It reminds me a bit of all those AU Star Trek episodes where half the fun is watching your faves die while knowing they'll be fine by the end of the episode. I'd be far more worried if only Mobius or Sylvie had died, but with everyone dead a reset of some sort seems inevitable.

Just a thought
After Season 2 Episode 4, and the latest trailer release for next spisode.
I don’t breakdown any of the trailer, just kinda skip to what I think will happen at the end of the series.
Peter and Neal from White Collar.
Mobius and Loki from Loki.
I can’t help but draw similarities and compare them to one another. I think that’s why I really liked the first few episodes of Loki, because it’s the exact same dynamic.
Mobius trying to keep Loki on the straight and narrow, just how Peter done with Neal. Not once does Peter underestimate Neal, he knows exactly what he is capable of and chased him for years! Sound familiar… it should. In the end the two grew extremely close, having a father / son dynamic until the final episode.
Here are my thoughts on how the ending of Loki will go. I believe they will part ways, because of the nature of the character.
Neal was always a con man, that never changed but Peter wanted more for Neal. Neal could be more than just a con.
Now how does this relate to Loki? Mobius has reminded Loki of who he is. ‘You’re the god of mischief’. Yes Loki has changed, he’s learnt to view things differently and care, but he is still the God of Mischief. That won’t ever change. It’s in his nature. Mobius wanted more for Loki. ‘You could be whoever-whatever it is you want to be.’
The current ending I have in mind;
- I think when all is said and done, Loki will make a choice to leave or he’ll fake his own death … again.
I say that because Brad / X-5 said ‘you just make everything worse. For B-15, For Mobius, For your mother.’ Perhaps Loki believes that this is all his fault and that removing himself for their lives will be the solution. I can’t see him doing an emotional goodbye.
With rumours of Mobius and Loki showing in Deadpool, I don’t know what to think. It’s plausible that they did go their separate ways and just happened to find each other again. Or they never part and - … well I still can’t think of how they’d end up in Deadpool.
BUT! ‘He’s known for switching sides’ Back to leaving, Loki leaves, either by himself or with Sylvie. Another issue ‘Loki and Thor reunite.’ I can’t see Sylvie or Mobius in that scenario- only Loki. Either Loki goes looking for him (if he thinks that Thor is still alive since he saw the explosion that takes place after his neck gets snapped) or they bump into one another.
Personally - I hope he doesn’t leave, and decides to stick around. Perhaps all of this is so wrong and out there, and actually Loki ends up staying and proves that he really has changed and cares and is willing to put the work in since so far all he’s done is try to help and fix a mess that isn’t even his fault.
Maybe he will be the one calling all the shots and take control of the timelines. As to what happens with Sylvie? She’ll probably run off since that’s all she’s really shown to do. (No hate to her.)
I feel like a narrative is being pushed of ‘Loki’s can’t and won’t ever change.’ But our Loki ends up being the one who does. He changes how his story ends and for once he wins.
This being said back to White Collar comparisons - Matthew Keller. Both Matthew Keller and Neal are shown to be 2 sides of the same coin. Matthew is Neal without Peter. Just like how Sylvie is Loki without Mobius. Just some food for thought.
Anyways that’s my rambling over. Just spiralling after the trailer release.

What if? S2E9
That was a disappointing end to a really good season. I guess I was hoping for more like the previous ep? Lots of appearances from known heroes.
Kahhori (sp?) seems like she could be a fun new hero, but we've only known (any version of) her for 30min. And Carter...
I genuinely do not get it. I know people who really like Peggy Carter and so there are probably does who love Captain Carter as well, but to this extent?!
I'm wondering if it's something to do with which actors they can get. Because it also seems like they can only get replacement voice actors if those people have left Marvel. Like, there's new voices for Tony, Steve, etc, but never for someone who's still in the MCU as far as I can tell.
Guess I should be lucky Stan and Hiddleston are willing, at least?
Beyond the continued focus on and glorification of Captain Carter, there were plotholes, and they also turned back the one big character arc from S1, Strange Supreme's.
One thing I did enjoy was how the villains fighting each other let them escape: those fights and appearances were often clever. I guess it bodes well for Battle World?
Finally, the tree. Like truly, finally. I genuinely wonder if they saw how people love the Loki series and quickly put it in there. That's absolutely why it was in the trailer.
