For the character meme Loki

My first impression of Loki was that he looked like a gladiator because of his helmet (I'm not even joking).

His twisted sense of humor and sarcasm amused me a lot, and I found him rather charismatic as an antagonist. But over time, I discovered other aspects of his personality that slowly made me revise my perception of him. I would now say that Loki is much more than the initial caricature I had of him.

He is... complex.

Despite his flaws (which tend to be noticed first), he possesses exceptional qualities. He is kind, not necessarily in the traditional sense, but kind nonetheless. He is strong both physically and emotionally, courageous when needed, fiercely protective, and loving, so very loving.

He is engaging, has a great sense of sacrifice, but can also be a real two-faced jerk. He is quite dichotomous in that he embraces his nature as much as he condemns it.

His status as the "god of mischief" was a defense he gradually abandoned to reveal the person he truly is underneath, a person capable of change.

He is someone capable of the worst and the best. After all, we have seen him commit atrocities just as we have seen him perform wonders.

He is just incredible like that.

Today, I see Loki as a free and unpredictable being: free in his choices, his actions, and his emotional depth and richness make him immensely endearing and captivating.

I have many favorite moments, but I think my absolute favorite is probably when he threatens Thanos with his spear (to protect Thor). This scene always gives me chills; nothing can surpass it in my eyes.

For a while now, I've been obsessed with the idea of a story in which my two favorite characters, Sakura and Loki, find themselves thrust into an unknown universe and must team up to find a way back home. I want to see them interact and form a bond, not romantic but entirely platonic. A duo formed by these two would be iconic, and nothing can convince me otherwise. Since I can't find a fiction of this kind, I'll probably end up writing it myself to satisfy my craving.

I love his relationship with Thor; I've always had a soft spot for sibling relationships, and I find the one he shares with his brother incredibly cute, funny, and touching.

I don't have really unpopular opinion , but I think his connection with Mobius is closer to a parent/child slash reluctant best friends dynamic than a romantic relationship.

In my imagination, Sylvie and Mobius sometimes visit Loki through a portal opened by America Chavez (or Doctor Strange) so he doesn't feel alone. I know it's not very plausible, but it's my headcanon, let me dream.

im in pain. emotional. its fine. lets review.

the entire loki squad is iconic. i MEAN THE KID STRAIGHT UP KILLED THOR. its great. dont even get me started on the alligator. i love it. i cant stand ravonna, i just hate her. shes a good villain, didn’t expect it. NOW the entire scene with the alligator attacking boastful loki was one of my favourite parts. i love that everyone thought sylvie was terrifying, i love it. also can we talk about how much screen time the alligator got considering hes AN ALLIGATOR. im very thankful, dont get me wrong. i gotta say, president loki was messing with my head, twas scaring me. now SYLVIE AND MOBIUS TOGETHER WAS AMAZING. that was everything i couldve asked for. they have great chemistry. i really need the scenes if mobius interrogating sylvie about loki. i just I NEED IT. back to the lokis, president loki being confused why theres an alligator, then getting attacked by said alligator. thats it, i love it, i would watch it for days. tHEN IT BITES HIS DAMN HAND OFF AND THE ABSOLUTE CHAOS IS JUST SUPERB. just, amazing. “shes the only one i do trust” UM WHOS MOBIUS THEN BITCH? AFTER SPENDING TIME WITH BOTH OF THEM, SHE 100% K N O W S. and i love it. her knowing smile when loki doesnt respond is just gsgfkasgfkhs. the entire conversation following that about their ‘relationship’ looks like its out of a grade 5 playground, its great. but thats the thing. i dont think their romantic, given the following line is “i dont have friends” by sylvie. meaning their just friends. and let me tell ya, an mcu project has never focused and has been this self aware of a relationship, especially like this. especially because this relationship hasn’t even started. so, me and my lokius heart will be in the corner, thank you very much. i love how they immediately start banter, they’re a great duo, its fantastic. you know who loki also betrayed? MOBIUS. they keep making it clear, first with the dagger, the “he cares about you”, now this, that mobius loves loki. no but wtf are those birds. whatever, not the point. sylvies so powerful i love her. (im sorry im very gay). the moment loki says “im staying” who turns around BUT MOBIUS. C’MON. kid loki giving loki a dagger is just so. IT CAN ALSO SYMBOLIZE SELF LOVE BECAUSE LOVE IS A DAGGER. lokius’ goodbye. im not ok. first we got hit in the stomach with “burn it to the ground. thanks for the spark” then WE GOT THE GODDAMN HUG. the look on lokis face as he went to hug him. this was a bond. he cares about mobius. a handshake wont do. they were farther than that. and the dagger in the shot WAS NOT A MF COINCIDENCE. I’LL TELL YOU THAT MUCH. THEY LOVE EACH OTHER OF STORY. #sylvie just out her like: imma need that dagger to cut this romantic and sexual tension sweet jesus. now, did i cry during the goodbye? y e s, yes i did. loki being able to enchant it was so powerful. it shows his full potential and just how power he is. LOKIS are just powerful. classic loki built ASGARD FOR GODS SAKE. SYLVIE DID THAT ENCHANTING ON HER OWN FOR A LARGE AMOUNT OF TIME. so iconic, i love them all. “because we’re the same” then why did you fall in love mf? whats that about? the fact this episode ends on a cliff hanger is kinda very rude but whatever. if mobius doesnt come back im gonna- its not gonna be pretty.

so yeah, that was my review, this is by far my favourite episode, i adore it. aNyWaYs.

I haven't seen Loki yet, only seen some gif but I agree with what you're saying about Sam and Bucky. They are not a buddy cop duo.

The thing is ever since Civil War came out, Stackie fans have been asking for a buddy cop movie starring Seb and Anthony, and even better a buddy cop movie starring Sam and Bucky... I think some people were calling for the buddy cop show even before!

The dynamic we saw in Civil War was more typical of buddy cop shows.... Like an iconic duo of frenemies with a love/hate relationship.

So when it was announced that there would be a Sambucky... a lot of people including me, thought it would be a buddy cop type of show...Like either the same dynamic as in Civil War or the jokes Seb and Anthony had with each other during the interviews... but something like that doesn't go beyond friendship.

But now that the show came out we see that it wasn't a buddy cop show. Of course there are some jokes in the show... but not that much, and there are much more emotional and heavy scenes between Sam and Bucky than between a lot of relationships in the MCU and the genre of the show would be more an action drama.

I think it isn't too far-fetched to say that Sam and Bucky'a relationship is one of the relationships that has been more explored and developed in the MCU.

All of this to say that no, Sam and Bucky don't have a buddy cop duo type of dynamic and if we insist on labelling them, based on what I have seen and what they have said I would say they are (romantic) partners.

And if you watch Grey's Anatomy, I would say they're each other's person.

loki season finale has me… well

wtf was that kiss it gave me the ick. we got kang tho so i’m cool with that. but like most all marvel romances… loki’s was dry and full of holes. at this point marvel needs to get some fic writers hired just to fix their shitty romances.

they confirmed loki as bi and then said.. “so we heard you all wanted a non hetero relationship? are we gonna do that? haha no, god no. but here’s some weird self incest that will make you question if it’s morally okay or not :)”

and even looking beyond the weirdness of the relationship, the season finale just proves that these two don’t work well together. we see loki getting an arc of trusting people only for sylvie to betray him and i’m guessing that’s not gonna be good for the arc he just had. they’ve had somewhat opposing views the whole series idk why i thought she’d meet in the middle with the biggest issue ???

i won’t talk about mobius because pain. but i love him. and hunter b-15 what an icon. a duo. possible the duo of the century?

but hey. everyone’s acting was immaculate. tom, wunmi, owen, SOPHIA, GUGU, and omg the incredible va skills of tara strong as miss minutes 🥺 so basically in my opinion, cast was beautiful. romance was ass. happy with the villain, think that can open up so many new happenings in the mcu. and now patiently waiting for the spider-man trailer. marvels made me a masochist. what can i say? hurt me some more :)

love to see it. really do.

Ok I’m nervous and eager to know what this series will do for the future of the mcu and loki specifically. How would a season 2 work will he be in the next Thor movie or not (I’m scared to research this honestly i don’t wanna know right now lol) and most importantly WHAT is mobius going to do and WHERE is he going. Assuming he won’t die (he better not🔪) I will be insufferable whenever loki is on screen if I do not also see mobius and don’t know what he is doing ! You can’t create such an iconic duo with such good chemistry and then not treat them like a package deal :/

Is the scene in episode 4 where Loki and Mobius are arguing, throwing bitter words at each other. Mobius feels betrayed and is obviously jealous, but if anything he’s hurt. You can see the pain in his eyes. Loki’s hurt by Mobius’s words, yes, but Mobius is hurt because he believes Loki has betrayed him. They’re both hurt.

“We could have been so good together. We could have lived this dance forever”

Aka episode 1 and 2 where it was just them. They were happy being in each other’s company. They made an iconic duo and could even be something more.

“But now who’s gonna dance with me. Please, stay”

Either episode 4 where Mobius was pruned or episode 5 where Mobius was leaving.

“And I'm never gonna dance again. Guilty feet have got no rhythm. Though it's easy to pretend, I know you're not a fool”

Loki knows Mobius see through his bs when they’re fighting back in episode 4 and maybe he even feels guilty, though he pretends it’s not his fault? But if anything Mobius’s not a fool and he knows.

“Should've known better than to cheat a friend and waste the chance that I'd been given. So I'm never gonna dance again, the way I danced with you”

Mobius gave him that chance, and Loki took it for granted by betraying him. Now he realizes what he’s lost the second he’s losing Mobius.

“Now that you’re gone. Now that you're gone. Was what I did so wrong, so wrong, that you had to leave me alone?”

He lost Mobius. The Mobius he ended up with at the end of the finale isn’t his Mobius. So he, in the end, is truly by himself.

Anon, you speak my mind! But since the second season of Loki is like 90% confirmed at this point, and since Loki has died like so many times my worst fear being that Mobius will either die, or that he’ll have his exit in season 1 finale (aka going to live his old life before the TVA and that’s the last we see of him. Don’t get me wrong, I want him to have his jet ski and all that, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll have to permanently leave, unless Marvel wants to hurt their own fans then)

Like I’m not even joking or exaggerating when I say it gives me anxiety thinking about all these theories/possibilities of how things will turn out.

The second season of Loki is said to be in pre-production and will start filming around January 2022, although, as of now, it’s not officially confirmed by Marvel yet, a lot of reliable sources are reporting the same thing, so I suppose it means something. I just hope we will actually see Tom and Owen be the iconic duo that they are in the second season and also in so many upcoming MCU projects, and that their characters don’t have to say goodbye to each other.

I honestly would love to see more of the interactions/scenes between the two of them together, since as of now, all we have was that one scene during their car ride. I think Mobius and Sylvie could make an iconic duo, too (since she’s a Loki, and Mobius is like a Loki whisperer of sorts, not to mention how all the Lokis seems to be drawn to him somehow) so I think their friendship would undoubtedly be super cool. But as a romantic ship? I mean, canon asides, it could work, I think? Sylvie being overprotective of Mobius, because she thinks the world’s a cruel place and everyone is trying to hurt Mobius — who, in her opinion, is too pure/innocent — one way or another, and Mobius having to constantly remind her there’re good people, too. Sure they’re lots of bad ones, but that doesn’t mean she has to keep her guard up all the time. That would be kind of cute, actually. Plus, it wouldn’t be selfcest so I don’t think there’s a reason for the ship to be harmful/problematic. So yeah, the concept of them as a ship can be interesting and I wouldn’t be against it.
