cecilsweep is making me recall one of my fonder memories of 2013, when i went to a live show, and would you ever believe it, i was running late because the bus was late. it was raining even. i was waiting for the bus in the rain.
and when the bus finally came, i got on and the bus was full of so much purple, and we all just looked around at each other in perfect mutual understanding that we were all thinking the exact same thing
#we also arrived before the show actually started which was a win#it was so fun. i wore purple lipstick i made from melting a crayola crayon and coconut oil together

Blogmas: A Kylie Khristmas
Hi guys,
A while ago, Kylie Cosmetics brought out a Lip Crayon collection in her Kendall Jenner Collaboration and it was by far one of my favourite lip formula's she has ever released. After the collection was retired the lip crayons disappeared and you couldn't get them anymore, that was until now! Kylie has just brought out a whole range of Matte Lip Crayons £17.00 and of course I had to get one.
In her new collection there are 6 shades to choose from, I decided to get the shade Hit's Different which is a honey nude tone (you can see above). If you didn't get to try the crayons the first time round let me fill you in. These lip crayons are a comfortable soft-velvet matte finish that is also smudge resistant.
Personally I love this formula because the lipsticks are so pigmented and yet they wear really well on your lips lasting all day. I really like how blurred and smooth these crayons make my lips which you wouldn't normally expect from a formula like this. I also love that compared to her original matte liquid lipsticks, this formula is much more comfortable to wear so if you aren't a fan of liquid lipsticks you should check these out.

One of the very best spent 1€ of my life was getting that red makeup crayon
#so crayola has (or had?) a makeup line and it's basically a crayon you can use#for lipstick or blush or eyeshadow. and the texture is so nice it actually feels nice as eyeshadow AND matte lipstick#press a lil harder (not too much; it's kinda delicate) and you get darker red#paint a line on your lips and smudge with your fingers: super nice red color. light press for natural look hard press for red#put it on your fingers and smudge over your cheeks for lovely red/dark pink blush#pat it over your eyelid then smudge for very nice red eyeshadow#it's soooo good. and it goes off very easily but not in a way that it's frustrating. it lasts all day on eyes and cheeks tbh#blabla

The wet n wild liquid catsuit lipstick was like half the price of the maybelline and so I got two (and the maybelline were like $10-$12, but they were also BOGO 50% so I got 2, plus one other and an ink crayon).
The wet n wild colors are Rebel Rose (so a dusty rose/pink) and Missy and Fierce (a really vivid cherry? red)
The maybelline colors were on the pink/nude side of the spectrum, in Showrunner (a coral/nude pink?), Artist (a pinky plum, as opposed to the Voyager color I have, which is a more red/burgundy plum) and Life of the Party (a bold pink-y magenta). and the crayon is Happy Birthday (halfway between Life of the Party and Showrunner, but with a glitter/shimmer finish).
So I guess I'm going more towards the Trixie side of the color spectrum as opposed to Katya.

my Typical Makeup Look which ive been gradually getting better at is pretty simple despite looking like its more high effort than it is
#step 1: pale foundation#step 2: dark eyeshadow from the eyelids up to the eyebrows and a little under the eye#step 3: eyeliner (pencil type) in a ring around the eye and an extended 'lash' shape on the sides#step 4. mascara (its mascara)#step 5: lipstick (its lipstick)#step 6: i use this like. crayon eyeliner thing and i draw a little on my eyebrows and then smudge it to make my brows look more 'solid'#step 7: after having smudged my brows i then smudge it again down the sides of my nose bridge#hard to explain this but it adds an Effect#step 8: setting spray or whatever its called (so it stays)#so yeah not that complex#OH YEAH AND sometimes for lipstick ill put on this metallic red one my mom gave me and then use my finger to smudge some of my#black lipstick with/over it and it creates the illusion of a metallic black its neat
