Text
Me: Pride Parades and Celebrations aren’t really a Queer space anymore because now its just corporations realizing the they can cash in and get the Gays to spend their rainbow bucks.
Also Me: This “Love Wins” candle and body spray from Bath and Body Works ls  one of new favorite scents. Like it's such a mature scent; it doesn't have that awful reminder of Warm Vanilla Sugar that every girl in middle school loved ya know? Funny enough thats the scent that made me realize I was gay. Anyways...

I dont know if you wanted us to send you Drabble prompts but if it's okay with you here's one - "That’s my ex-boyfriend/girlfriend.” - “Well, kiss me so they see.” for Preyna/Jeyna
A/N: Return of the Hogwarts AU. I have so many mixed feelings about the ending like my shipper heart can’t handle it. Not my November fic since I have a special update for that but this was fun regardless. Thank you for asking for Preyna. I’ll love to explore this ship a lot more.
“I don’t think I ever seen anyone eat that many Bertie Bott’s Jelly Beans before.” Percy said as he held the door open to Honeydukes for Reyna. The sixteen year old woman laughed as she hugged the bag of sweets against her chest. “My stomach hurts you looking at you.”
“They’re my weakness.” Reyna confessed as she wiped her face, probably checking for lingering sugar. Percy chuckled, amazed by how simple sweets could transformed the usually stoic transfer student into an adorable teenage girl. “Told tell anyone.” Reyna warned, giving him a playful glare.
“Yes madam.” Percy replied as he tugged her elbow. “Let’s head to The Three Broomsticks. You haven’t had butterbeer before, right?” The way Reyna’s eyes lit up warmed Percy’s heart.
Hogsmeade was more crowded than usual. Wizard families wandered the streets with their children, pointing out landmarks from their student days. Children ran to the joke shops, pressing their faces against the pane window front. Foreign wizards drank the quaint town sights in with curious eyes. The Triwizard tournament drew in various crowds. With Hogwarts hosting it this year, Percy could feel the excitement buzzing through the campus. Durmstrang’s large ship docked in the center of the lake with Beauxbaton’s Cinderella-like carriage nearby. Reyna told him about the inside of the ship a few weeks ago.
“You didn’t have a town like Hogsmeade near Durmstrang?” Percy asked as they walked through the crowds. Reyna shook her head, slipping the sweets into her shoulder bag. Percy is fairly certain it’s enchanted by the amount of books and parchment she placed in their from their early browsing.
“Durmstrang is fairly isolated. Getting to campus is always a challenge. We didn’t have an easy train like you Hogwarts students.” Reyna explained as she flicked her braid over her shoulder. “To toughen the students.” She said in a deep Russian accent, rolling her eyes at the statement. “A student nearly died last year from the journey.”
“Holy…” Percy murmured. It’s unusual for a student to transfer to Hogwarts so late into their education. When Hades told him about Reyna, he was skeptic. Her sorting into Slytherin was done in private and as Perfect, Percy was told to keep an eye on her. Percy would have helped anyways. Everyone was curious about the new girl who showed up in their dorm without an explanation.
Slytherins don’t treat strangers kindly, especially if they invade into their territory. Percy remembered pacing in the common room waiting for Reyna to appear out of her room. She shared it with Drew Tanaka and Khione, two girls who weren’t known for their kindness. Percy expected the worst like hair turned green or snakes in her bed. When she sauntered down the stairs without a strand of dark hair out of her braid and a smug smile on her lips, Percy knew she would fit in just fine.
“You never told me what you did to Drew and Khione.” Percy brought up as they entered the warm pub. The place was packed with students and visitors. Servers rushed at the bar to handle all the drinks. Percy nudged Reyna towards the second floor where it wasn’t as packed. He noticed Annabeth and her housemates but only gave her a little wave.
“It’s nothing interesting.” Reyna down-played as they walked up the creaking steps. “Durmstrang girls make them seem like kittens. Once…” Reyna’s words trailed off as she noticed something in the distance. Her smile curved into a frown and her shoulders slump like the air was sucked out of her.
“Reyna?” Percy asked, noticing the shift and followed her gaze. In the corner table sat a collection of Durmstrang students in their signature fur trimmed red robes, laughing at something. They were around their age if Percy had to guess. In the middle was a couple, a young petite girl with beautiful brunette locks and a young man with golden blond hair. The man’s arm rested on the back of the girl’s chair as they chuckled into their mugs. “Do you know them?”
Reyna’s posture was stiff like she’s physically preparing for something. The relaxed girl from before gone. Her hand reached for Percy’s as the young man lifted his gaze from the table, turning to where Reyna and Percy stood. He blinked in recognition and lifted his hand in greeting. Reyna turned away quickly, pulling Percy with her.
“Who’s that?” Percy asked as they settled beside the railing that looked down on the first floor of the pub. The noise of the crowd surrounded them. Percy leaned close to hear her words. The sweet smell of sugar from Honeydukes clung to her, tickling his nose.
“That’s my ex-boyfriend.” Reyna whispered after a moment. Reyna looked conflicted as she peeked over her shoulder like she wasn’t sure if wanted to catch his gaze or not. She shook her head and looked back at Percy. “He seems to move on just fine.” There was bitterness in her voice as she crossed her arms. “Sorry for ruining the mood.”
“Well,” Percy started, unable to stop himself from looking over her head towards the table. The blond stood up, heading in their direction. This could be a very bad move. Percy thought as he stepped closer to Reyna, gently tipping her chin up to look at him. Her soft lips parted unconsciously, drawing Percy’s gaze. “Kiss me so they see.”
He gently pressed his lips against hers, allowing the girl to pull away if she wanted. Reyna tasted like sugar, not that Percy expected anything less. She leaned in tentatively as her hand reached up, wrapping her fingers around his wrist. Percy felt like the tavern faded away, only focusing on the young woman in front of him. He cupped her neck, angling her lips just right.
Percy wanted more. He wanted to know more about this girl with dark eyes and witty smile. He wanted to pull her close and figure out what made her tick. He wanted her. Percy pulled back, looking at Reyna’s closed eyelids and parted lips. Her hand clung to the front of his shirt, holding him close. “Percy…” Reyna whispered, opening her eyes. Blush bright against her tan cheeks. God, he wanted to kiss her again.
“Reyna?” The voice broke whatever spell Percy spun over Reyna. The girl jumped out of his arms, turning to look at her ex with wide dark eyes. The blond gaze flickered between the two as he tried to process what he just witness. There was something in the way his blue eyes darkened and how he clenched and unclenched his hands at his side.
“Jason…” Reyna whispered as she looked at him. Percy frowned at the way she said his name. It was a mix of sadness, fondness and pain. A part of Percy wanted to pull her away, keep her close and never let this Jason anywhere near. But that didn’t feel right. He’s the outsider in this situation.
“I’ll get us some butterbeer.” Percy said as he gently curled his hand around Reyna’s. She shook her head slightly, begging Percy to stay, but he just squeezed her hand. “I’ll be right back.” He inhaled her vanilla scent and whispered to her words he didn’t want to say. “I don’t think he’s over you.”
