for people that are scared of presenting in front of an audience and also roller coasters
so my school did a ted ed thingy (yes, ted talks) and also presentations. i was one of the students who participated. everyone had such good talks and topics but one that really stood out was this talk on the fear of roller coasters.
she talked about her experience with roller coasters, and how she always reminds herself that it is only 2 minutes of her life, compared to other, more stressful things, or the fact that she could be wasting time worrying.
the strategy: knowing that it is only 2 minutes of your life can be implemented everywhere. presenting in front of an audience, or even talking to someone that you’re nervous around.
i think she is really smart and her idea deserves to be known everywhere. it worked for me, and i think it will work for other people too.
people need to stop worrying about things that have no real importance or will only make a little effect.
