Nezha already has anough headaches dealing with multiple Sun Wukongs, now there's more of himself??

Nezha at the very least gets along well with his younger and girl counterparts from the different cartoon series. He's a little confused why the 2000s cartoon!Nezha/Nata is female, but he's not looking into it. They all bond over their respective Monkey King stories and fear of disappointing their bio dad. LMK!Nezha quickly finds himself being the babysitter to a lot of them.

But the gremlin from the Ne Zha (2019) film? LMK!Nezha is close to pulling his hair out. 2019!Nezha is like Red Boy 2.0 without Red's quiet moments; demonic, moody, on fire, and will def kick his older self in the groin when annoyed. Eventually LMK and 2019 Nezhas end up bonding after a rough fight over their respective feelings of being treated as weapons rather than kids. 2019!Nezha begrudingly admits that LMK!Nezha is kinda cool, for a celestial that is. LMK!Nezha later has a mental blue screen when he learns that 2019!Nezha and Ao Bing are both only three years old??? Is the dragon using a gotdang glamour?

Also apparently a version of Nezha appears in the Hero is Back video game. They sassy af towards Sun Wukong for kicking their butt at Flower Fruit Mountain, and has been trying for a rematch since - but HeroIsBack!SWK thinks Nezha's just a kid playing a game.

Heck might be the same gremlin Nezha we know from the 2019 film with a glamour on. Not sure about the canon of this one since 2019!Nezha and HeroIsBack!SWK have interacted in crossover adverts before.

Yunxiang is a different ballpark of emotions all together; cus he's already got beef with his previous incarnation for killing Ao Bing and making sh*t harder for him, and now all these versions of his past life are just hanging around? And most of them are kids??? And why is there so many monkeys!? He needs to lie down for a moment or he's gonna have to fight someone.

So yeah, the multi-dimensional Nezha gang aren't having a lot of fun, but luckily LMK!Nezha is a responsible teenager (?) who's used to handling toddlers on fire.

the New Gods movie series (by Light Chaser Animation studios mainly, I believe) really has no right to go as hard as it does, aside from being really cool retellings of Chinese myths.

it’s the video-game-esque animation style. it’s the massive spiritual godly forms. it’s the classic rock riffs. it’s the futuristic punk settings. it’s iconic.

Li Yunxiang:

CUDDLE BUG- Contrary to popular belief, Li Yunxiang is an absolute cuddle bug. He loves to snuggle and cuddle and be all up on ya’. He’s lowkey also a bit of a chubby chaser- yes, this is true, no, I don’t care what Su looks like.

LOVE LANGUAGE(S): ACTS OF SERVICE/PHYSICAL TOUCH- Yunxiang expresses his love easiest through performing actions. He’ll never mind running errands for you, carrying heavy things for you and one of his favorite ways to pamper you which combines both his primary love languages is massages. (He’s very skilled with his hands and delivers great massages.) 

REASSURANCE- Yunxiang, despite what one may initially think, needs more than a little reassurance and words of affirmation in his relationship. He worries that you might see him as immature and irresponsible, regardless of how much he works towards being and frankly is the opposite of those things. It’s mostly residual from dealing with his father. Don’t worry though, just a few encouraging words from you on those days when he’s feeling more self-conscious than usual will have him right as rain. 

FUN- Yunxiang loves to have fun with you! He’ll always plan the most exciting dates and outings, whether that be spending the day at an amusement park or just going out for a joyride on his motorcycle. But don’t worry, if you’re like me and don’t particularly find a thrill in things like that, Yunxiang is more than flexible and very accommodating, and can adjust to your date preferences easily. 

COMMUNICATION- Yunxiang is very communicative. Maybe not the most open, but when you ask him something, he tries his best to give thoughtful, coherent answers, especially if you’re bringing up a grievance you may have in your relationship. He’s still a little hot headed, but as he ages and matures, he becomes much better at listening, and being receptive most importantly.

It was moments like this where i really thought that Ao Bing and Yunxiang could have teamed up to fight Ao Guang cause it feels like most of Ao Bing's ambition to kill Yunxiang comes from the past lives situation and wanting, what, validation from his dad? Wanting to prove he isn't completely pathetic and weak?

Yunxiang and Ao Bing could have really connected over their fathers' disappointment in them and Ao Guang making everyone suffer, and sought a life where they didn't have to continue the cycle of violence and improving upon their past mistakes

This is where I think Nezha Reborn kinda lacks. It doesn't have the same emotional impact as say, Nezha 2019 or the 1979 movie. There's emotional moments in the movie but doesn't hit the same way due to the direction they chose. It feels like they tried to do a little too much and thus didn't focus their attention on some key aspects that would have improved the overall movie.

(I do think it's interesting that it has sort of the opposite theme of Nezha 2019. Whereas the latter was focusing on changing one's destiny, this one follows fulfilling a prewritten destiny.)

I'vs seen alot of headcanons that wukong and nezha act like father and son and always come at ffm to spend time with the shadowpeach kid's.

hahaha especially since in Monkey King and the Infant; Nezha pretty much moves in with Shadowpeach after getting kicked out of Heaven.

LMK!SWK and Nezha I feel have a relationship similar to brothers, where the lazy older one had to take responsibility for the proactive younger one. A Sans and Papyrus-esque sibling relationship if you will. Also if anything happened to Nezha, the perpetrator would have a bad time.

Imagine all the different Nezha's sitting around, LMK and Yunxiang trying their best to keep the fire gremlins occupied. Then LMK!SWK pokes his head in like;
