#Levi propose to my wifey already

DAY IV:- SUGARS

A/N: Hope this short drabble will suffice today's prompt. I actually found it bit difficult to write something solely revolving around sugar. But tried to link it in this plot. Hope everyone enjoys it.

The whole Fairy Tail knew the confectioneries made by their resident water mage was beyond the world treat for their taste buds as it would instantly melt down the moment it lands their awaiting tongue.

The older men would always congratulate the young ice-devil slayer for the fact that he got himself a homely, bubbly and charming wife.

As a teenager, Gray never believed the saying 'A way to man's heart is through his stomach'.

He felt everytime he ate something, mostly Mira's cooking from the guild, he would just feel 'yum' and 'delicious'.

A common complement which he would give at the end of each meal, let it be anywhere.

But ever since, he got married to Juvia, the fact once he thought meaningless became the golden truth.

He understood why it was true. As she not only made him foods out of love and care but also equally served him with love and compassion.

Everytime Juvia served him food, she would beam with happiness and always makes sure it was something of his liking.

Gray considers himself as a lucky man on the face of this world and thanks each and every soul who had given him a second chance to enjoy this life alongside with his Juvia.

It had been three years since they got married. They dated for few months and soon proposed her which Juvia never expected to happen anytime soon then.

When asked for his reason, all he said was "Because I can't stay without you by my side. I would have proposed you right away after the confession. But knowing you,that you would want us to date for sometime I restrained myself. So will you marry me?" He grinned and wore the ring around her finger.

So currently, Gray returns from the a week long mission who is eagerly waiting to see his beautiful wife waiting for him and welcoming him with warm smile and hug.

"I'm back" As he enters the house he was instantly hit with a wave of aromatic smell which bought a smile on his face.

He knew that she was baking something most probably pie.

Gray kept his bag on top of the shoe shelf and made way to the kitchen to see his gorgeous wife washing the dishes and soon the timer of the clock went off.

When she turns, she sees her husband standing at the door way with his shirt being lost and smiling at her with his arms wide open for her to join in.

Juvia soon rushed off to welcome her Gray-sama back by hugging and giving kiss on his lips which she had missed for a days.

"Welcome back, Gray-sama. Juvia missed you."

"Even I missed my wifey very much" He bent down to kiss his wife and had a small make out session.

Once after getting freshened up, Gray sat on the dining table waiting for his snacks where Juvia gave him some cookies and a glass of milk.

"You know Juvia, you are just as sweet as sugar. I'm hungry. Thank you for arranging this small treat before the dinner."

Gray grinned and began to dip in the cookie in the milk before taking a bit. He looked like a small child which he enjoyed as well.

This is a small habit which he had developed since wedding and continued till now.

"Anything for Juvia's Gray-sama." She smiled brightly and ruffled his thick raven mane, "Gray-sama looks so cute while eating Juvia's cookies. This makes her wonder how adorable it will be seeing you and our baby do it together."

Hearing her words, Gray nearly choked and began to cough where he ended up tearing.

"Our baby???"

He kept on coughing while Juvia patted his head and made him calm down.

Once he was okay, he asked her out of shock, "Are you pregnant, Juvia?"

That's when Juvia understood that her husband had misunderstood her words.

"No Gray-sama, just Juvia was wondering how it will look like seeing both of you together. Juvia knows we had talked about this."  Her smile fell down and went to the fridge to take out the pie which she prepared after half an hour back and kept for cooling.

"Juvia, I think it's time even we start thinking about starting a family. Now we have enough saving to raise a kid. So what do you think?" Gray said with flushed cheeks and a genuine smile.

Juvia smiled wide and nodded her head like a child which made him chuckle, "Okay come here, have a bit of it"

Gray offered her a bite of his already bitten cookie after dipping it again in milk and fed his wife affectionately.

"Even Gray-sama is so sweet." She praised him.

Gray after finishing his last cookie and milk replied, "Good for you as you are the only one who sees me like this. I can't live a day if Natsu and other guys from the guild finds out this side of mine."

Juvia giggled and wiped the milk moustache which was formed above his lips.

Just then, the door bell rings and that's when Juvia realized her guests have arrived.

" Oh Gray-sama!! Juvia forgot to inform you that girls and kids have come for a small tea party which Juvia decided yesterday and even they agreed. Looks like they have come. Juvia will go and attend the door while you just clean this table."

Gray agreed and proceeded to clean the crumbs and cleared the plate and glass.

As Juvia opened the door, she was greeted by the sight of two six year old Redfox twins and their mother Levy, Erza and her son, Simon and a very pregnant Lucy along with Wendy and Carla.

"Welcome everyone, Lucy-San! are you alright? How are you feeling now?" Juvia asked out of concern and moved aside so that her guests could enter.

Kids soon dashed inside the house after removing their slippers while the adults slowly followed them.

"Juvia, thank you for inviting us." They said in unison.

"Juvia thanks you all for coming. Kids, what do you all want?" She bent down a bit to ask their opinion.

"Sugar candies" The Redfox twins voiced out their opinion while Simon said "cookies".

"Juvia, just get what you have? Don't stress out yourself. So when's Gray coming back?" As soon as Erza finished her question, Gray enters the room and greets his friends.

"Hello ladies, looks like my arrival interrupts your girl's time." He said and sat on the arm chair where the kids were seated.

"Nothing like that." Girls assured him.

Juvia excused herself and went to kitchen to get what the kids had asked for.

Luckily, she had made the sugar candies a lot last time when they had come and was stocked up in fridge.

Once she had got what the kids had asked for they thanked their aunt and soon began to munch off. While the adults enjoyed the pie and a cup of tea and gossips about things.

Gray decided to entertain their little guests and took them to the garden where they played tags.

When it involved kids and his wife, he usual forgets his personality and turns to someone way different.

"Uncle Gray!! I want more sweets." Gale asked him while the other two nodded in agreement.

"Oh no kiddos, you guys had enough sweets for today. Just now, you all had pie, cookies and sugar candies." Gray tried to reason with them.

"I want those candies as they are sweet and sugars are visible and melts down in my tongue." Lily pointed her tongue which made him chuckle.

"Don't you like it, Uncle?" Now the youngest one asked him.

"I love your aunt's treats. They are the best. But your mommy will kill me if I give you again." He tried to convince them but no use as they began to show him their puppy eyes where he knew he was defeated.

As they went to kitchen with Simon in his arms, Gray got them each two candies. The kids became happy and went to living room where their mommy was there while the little guy also pointed in the same direction.

Gray knew now he would be scolded for his act, "Oh no! Gray did you get them?" Levy asked him while Erza glared at him.

"Yes! Uncle gave us. Thank you uncle." The twins thanked him.

"Gray, we don't want them to develop cavities this sooner. But who can blame Juvia's treat? Everyone has a sweet tooth for her confectioneries." Lucy praised her friend.

"Yeah! You are right, Lucy. We really can't blame her cooking skill" He winked at his wife who blushed in response.

Later at night, the couple discussed about their future children. Gray knew he was very lucky to have such a sweet and lovely girl as his wife.

And he knew even his children will be sweet and caring personality just like her with his sweet tooth for her baking alone.
