Took me the whole day, and many people have already made connections but. I wanted to and it was sorta fun so might as well post it, right?

If I got anything wrong and you know better then please correct :3

So here’s the design

And here is my very mature and comprehensive analysis, in order.

Roman * Rose

- Characteristics: 1. This is literally the only possibility for Roman’s flower. - Symbolism(s): 1. Love (general symbolism) 2. passion (for red specifically) 3. Other colours may represent friendship, joy, desire, enthusiasm, enchantment, humility, all that princely stuff. Easy, next.

Orange side

* Lantana - Characteristics: 1. Invasive, sometimes leading to migration or decline of animals. ( :( ) 2. Leaves are poisonous to most animals. ( :(((( ) 3. Perennial depending on the climate. - Symbolism(s): 1. Severity and rigour 2. Was used in Victorian era in “tussie-mussies” as a love language 3. The orange cultivar variant symbolises creativity and confidence 4. Used to treat issues of sexual dysfunction and obsessive-compulsive disorders. - There’s like two versions - Characteristics: 1. Perennial and hardy (like, tough. sturdy. not. Hard) 2. The petals and stems were used in salads in China, and their roots could be boiled to use as a remedy against headaches. - Symbolism(s): 1. Green chrysanthemums specifically symbolise longevity fidelity, joy and optimism. 2. According to wikipedia (so idk how accurate this is) some countries in Europe associate incurve chrysanthemums with dead and use them in funerals or or putting on graves. Similarly, in East Asian countries, the white variant of the flower represents adversity or lamentation. 3. White chrysanthemums symbolise honesty in America (I think it’s America?
