"girls support girls-" okay but are you normal about queer women? are you normal about BIWOC? are you normal about disabled women? are you normal about autistic women? are you normal about fat women? alternative women? unattractive women? are you normal about women who choose not to shave their legs and armpits and faces? are you normal about butches and tomboys and masculine women? are you normal about trans women? are you normal about trans men? are you normal about nonbinary folk and people who lie outside the gender binary or renounce gender all together? are you normal about women who absolutely despise and detest the latest trends? are you normal about weird women who unsettle you with their interests? are you normal about women who don't wear makeup, who will never wear makeup, who openly dislike makeup and the makeup industry?

I have such a deep hatred for (character)sister!reader. I don’t exactly know why but maybe it’s because the character reader (me) is meant to be related to (mind you it never says adopted) is always WHITE.
You may be saying “it’s really not that serious, calm down bitch”
To that I have to say
1. Don’t call me a bitch without a strap-on attached to you
2. It is that serious cause (and I will never shut up about this) white coded fics literally FLOOD every single crevice of the fan fiction world and it’s tiring. Same goes for skinny coded and short coded fics while we’re on the topic of exclusion.
Like can you imagine how frustrating it is to find a bomb ass fic with such a good plot and a word count that could have you reading till you’re dead, and you’re immersing yourself in it and really getting lost and throughly enjoying the story envisioning yourself however you want just to be broken out of it by
“she flushed a bright red”
“she craned her neck up at him”
“her thin pink lips”
“gripping so hard her knuckles turned white”
“Her petite frame”
Ect.
Like I’m not gonna police you on how to write your fics cause heaven knows I do not have the motivation to become a writer and posses the skill. But could we at least TRY to be POC, Plus Size, Tall person friendly? At least once in a while?
Cause I feel so pathetic when I get overly excited seeing descriptions that I can actually apply to myself or just neutral descriptors in general.
Anyways sorry not sorry ramble but 🤷🏽♀️ what can I do but complain until there’s change 🥰 MWAH 💋

Okay, but—how does the hunt evolve? How does it get more barbaric than it begins? Because the first hunt, with Natalie, has everyone on equal ground. Everyone is dressed for warmth, everyone has shoes on, it’s very “this could happen to any of us”. It’s fair, if such a thing exists in the wild.
But the opening scene of the pilot? Pit Girl? She’s in a flimsy dress. She’s barefoot. She’s not designed for a sprint to get water, much less for her life. So, how does it escalate? How fucking bad must it get, for the hunters to be dressed in furs and masks, and the prey to be so unprepared for the elements? That doesn’t feel like a move they’d make unless things got so much worse than we’ve seen.

I love getting validated on small things that I didn't even consider like it's always a treat and this time it's Gender
The Fundie Baby Voice™️ has been popping up a lot in ex-christian spaces lately and I actually had one in middle school and part of high school! I learned when and where to use it and how to turn up my southern accent just enough. I can still do it but it sounds weird after 3 years on T. The main place I used it was at church cause it made me sound sweet and polite. I used it for old ladies when I worked at a grocery store too. My family didn't like it when we were just all together cause they said it sounded like baby talk, but loved it when I used it at church cause everyone would tell them how sweet and soft-spoken I was
My therapist said it actively made him feel uncomfortable when I used that voice. He couldn't quite put his finger on why it made him uncomfortable (other than him only knowing me on T) but he very much did not like it and he's so so right for that

Tuvok & TPel at their Koon-ut-la:
May peace and bliss follow them forever.
Based on this picture I found:
Love how T’Pau is sitting down for this. Tuvok & T’Pel’s ceremony was presided over by a local but well-respected priestess because not everyone has the sway to get a stateswoman.
Also, I count this more as an approximation of engagement than marriage since they’re established to have a whole marriage-or-challenge thing as adults later on.
After the ceremony Tuvok and T’Pel were each given a seed and instructed to plant them side by side in the temple’s garden. When they returned to the temple for their marriage proper whatever they’d planted there that day would be in full bloom.
After that they played- uh...I mean...bonded with one another until their parents had to drag them away kicking and screaming. A fact which neither pair of parental units will ever let them quite forget much to their joint embarrassment.

Hyper-specific DNIs are cringe or wtvr, but I unironically need people who hate Shane from Stardew Valley to stay the fuck away from me 🤫🧏
