heyy girlie (gender neutral) I’ve become way too invested into ur OC Petra and their story .. Just wanted to share some HC’s i thought of over fangirling over them <3

• Petra picks up Spanish from Miguel (Can’t decide if they learn on their own or Miguel takes the time to teach them)

• Possibly sleeps in web sometimes? or web hammock??

• Their suit also has some kind of sugar glider style fabric stretching out from under the arms that help them glide/get around. (appearing as needed)

• ^^ I’d like to think they wouldn’t use it all that much, but every once in a while they just whip it casually and everyone’s like “so they can just fly?” (Material’s sum similar to that whole cape thing Miguel had on at Gwen’a earth)

• They’re extremely in tuned with their spidey sense. Helping them stay ahead from accidental/intentional mishaps from bigger ppl. (Maybe did training/meditation to develop it over the yrs?? Karate kid type beat) Also has really good intuition in general.

• (To go with that ^^) Some individuals who become close with Petra find that their spider senses become instinctively more aware of them and keeps them from accidental mishaps.

(From here on is basically Petra and the gang bc yes to interactions with them )

hey! i saw your reblog on my post and im so sorry you had to find out things this way. please know that im not a medical professional. everything i know is from in-depth research and talking to doctors, yes, but i haven't gone to school for this.

having said that, the best thing you could do rn is try and talk to a doctor your comfortable with during an annual check-up, if you can, because they cannot tell your parents anything as long as it isnt life threatening! and the chances of something going on that is life threatening is really low, especially at the age you are.

if you've avoided pap smears out of fear of them like i did, which i was for a REALLY long time, and still am a bit, you can request numbing creame and laughing gas. as well as anxiety meds. that won't take away all the discomfort or anxiety, but it can make it better. the metal ones are better than the plastic ones, too, because the plastic ones have scratchy bits on the sides, typically. (i know this from experience!!)

ps's check for diseases and cancers, and you can also ask them to check for tears, but they (the doctors) will almost always find things like that (tears, scars, bruising, etc) and point it out if it feels like it requires medical attention, or if you're safe.

(^^ if you already were aware of all of that, or dont worry ab ps's in general, then totally feel free to disregard this!)

ty for the info! actually, we are in similar boat. mine worked what i would consider immediately, so that was gonna be my question was how soon did yours work. i got it to stop them too until i can start T. i received it a week before i was gonna start bleeding- it wasnt planned, it was just the day i had my HRT appointment. now its past the week i would've started bleeding, and its simply nothing. i havent found any info from other trans masc ppl who take the shot and have talked about their experience with how soon they stopped bleeding (pre or during T) so i was sniffing around tumblr after calling my clinic and waiting for them to call me back so i can ask my questions. cuz i did ask before i got it, and if my notes are right then i was told itll be 2-3 shots before it takes effect to stop the bleeding for anyone it IS effective for (well aware of folks who take the shot and it does more harm than help) so im like bruh why is it working immediately. im investingating if im intersex or not so i am also trying to see if maybe this is at all indicative of that possibly :( all things tryna hit up the doctors for and waiting for blood test things. anyway! thank you for your anecdote and sharing. i hope that this can help others.
